As an author of thriller and survival stories, she draws upon her personal experience throughout her storytelling.

A great survival journey
An absolute 5 Star journey for survival as Mother Earth does her best to purge, not some, but all as she releases a foe from deep within that has the ability to mutate in its quest for annihilation of ALL mankind. In addition b this foe the earth seems to be "imploding" as earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis all "work together" to assist this foe...all a result of the greed of a 'select few' who will go to any length to rape our earth of her resources in their quest for power and wealth, despite research warning against it.. As a scientist discovers an email from her mentor, from deep in the ocean as he realizes his has less than a minute before his imminent death, she understands they are all in danger. Seeking answers, while following clues and instinct. Others, too, are seeking survival as they, due to a series of events are thrown together and led to a community in The Amazon where an indigenous tribe, claiming over five thousand years of generations there, as keepers of this area share that this is not the first purge...Ellis & Kraus weave a story of both individual & corporate greed, family and individual relationships, perseverance and growth as well as the demise into ones own insanity as the few work so hard to stop this event that has almost reached its goal, with less than 5% before total annihilation is reached. Amazing story
Finishing a 6 book series feels sad. The story of the epidemic and the way it changed the world was an amazing story. It pulled me into it and hung on all the way through. I'm sad to leave the Amazon and all the people who became my friends. The action was intense and there were times I was on the edge of my seat. Its a great story and I would recommend it to anyone who likes a good end of the world story.

Gripping till the last chapter.
I loved and loved again this series Extinction, right from the first few chapters it hooked me. The characters were amazing and played their part well. A brilliant brilliant series. I very highly.. for what it's worth...recommend this set of books.

Excellent reading!
A series of great experiences in the Amazon jungle and apocalyptic world . From the very beginning the excitement begins and keeps pulling you in through all the books to the very last page. Such an interesting concept of what could happen. My interest never wavered and I couldn’t wait for the next page. As I said it’s an exciting read and I think you will enjoy it as much as I have.

A good read
Great character development through believable odds. At times, I felt like I was there, sharing the emotions and experiences. These days, this scenario isn't too far from my thoughts.

Very good read
I recommend this book to be read by everyone. It's a what if book. But after Covid striking many down it made me think, what could happen if it really could get into people head and make them think that they are going to be the saviour of the world!

Apocalyptic in a different way
I started reading and was quite surprised at the turns the storyline took. It and several books later here I am, not wanting the story to end. You grow fond of or hate the characters, I recommend it highly.

Exciting Read
The story kept me riveted, I liked how it was in different peoples perspectives. Was a very different apocalyptic story line than I have been reading. I have enjoyed reading everything that Mike Kraus name is attached to.
I read this whole 6 book series in 3 days.

Hard to put this book down.
I read many books and series and this is one of the better series. It is unlike many of the post-apocalyptic books/series in that it doesn't involve the same old EMPs, World crashes, zombies etc.
It is a very believable storyline with very believable characters. I had a hard time putting the book down so I could get some sleep.

Satisfied
Enjoyed so much. Couldn't put it down. Loved the characters, love the discriptions, I felt dread, sadness, hopelessness, and hope. I don't want to give the story away, but so happy there was a happy ending.

Fantastic reading.
I found the whole tale fascinating and acceptable with a pinch of salt. So well constructed with characters that were as real as they get.
The script was so well put together that it is obvious that Tara is well versed and excelled as an author of value and expertise.

This book pulls you in and makes you feel for the characters. It was always hard to stop reading because I wanted to see what happened next. It was a different twist extinction books and I enjoyed it.

Wow what a absolute harrowing experience of what could happen to people of earth in the event of major erupted were to happen around the world, the description and characters that have to survive the disease and it's effects the lose of infrastructure and humanity. Definitely a must read for anyone who enjoys the what if type of story line, you won't regret buying these books. Settle in and enjoy the ride.

Riveting Series
The story lines were so well thought out. I have read several post apocalyptic books and this, by far, has been my favorite. I didn't want it to end! I would highly recommend. Don't hesitate to purchase.
