This book provides a new and great twist on the vampire mythology that shine a new light on what it means to be a vampire, the potential for growth, and further evolution. Our protagonist also evolves morally from a killing machine into a mother with a protective heart who will die without a second thought to defend the life of her newly acquired daughter.
Part two in the Vampire Wars trilogy is so entertaining I can't put it down. The excitement escalates keeping me hooked, anticipating book three that is necessary to finish the story.
Think of the Underworld Series but with a third species added in.
Also, I know this book has a sequel involving the same characters and I just have to ask: how? and not in a "I have to know" way more in a "you've made this seem too final" kind of a way
