My Thoughts:
Book 5 and by now I am an old, entrenched fan of this series! I just wish that the kindle ebook and the audible audiobook are whispersynced like they advertised...

So, it is totally unpleasant for Simon as his psychic talents kicks in again... and the relationship dynamic of Kate and Simon develops into a wonderful pairing! For me that is one of the main appeal of this series.

Another wonderful instalment in the Kate Morgan series!

One of my favorite Dale Mayer series. I love the mystery, the police procedural and the psychic. Kate (detective)does not believe in psychics, but she does believe in gut instinct. Simon, billionaire with the sight, met Kate in book 1 when he had visions of little children crying out for help. Each book they become closer, each book has a different crime and it shows Kate using her intelligence and persistence as well as slowly accepting Simon's sight a little more. I enjoy the mysteries, they are becoming harder to guess! Kate and Simon dance around each other based on their own horrific pasts and are starting to see a little sun and joy become part of them. I would recommend starting with book 1, but each can be read as a standalone. Many thanks for the arc! I freely volunteer my thoughts and opinions. #Runsimonrun #dalemayer #booksprout

Run, run, run....

....or maybe it is safer to not run!
The latest case has Kate running in circles and Simon more confused than ever about his visions and what they mean. But fantastically Kate and Simon seem to be getting closer and they are finally dropping the walls that keep everyone out, they are definitely not a gushing, over the top, big gesture couple but it is the little things that say the most and here we have lots of little things adding up to a heartwarming giant step forwards in their relationship.

Some cases are easy and clear cut, but then others like this one are not Two avid female joggers are running hard in Stanley Park and they are both dead at the same time using a unique method that does not leave any forensic evidence. Detective Kate Morgan concentrates on the victims until two more are killed. Simon St. Laurant wakes in the middle of the night with horrible nightmares that are far too close to home, especially as Kate gets closer to the truth she finds herself on the path to becoming the next victim.

This was a great mystery with a real puzzle for who was doing these murders as with two victims there were more candidates. Kate was still her cagey self about their relationship which was irritating. There were a lot of raw emotions in this story as it involved some male abuse so if this is a trigger skip it. Easy to read and understand, you could feel the emotions of some of the characters. Contains some light mature content.

Punto aparte, ESE FINAL. Realmente no sé cómo voy a soportar tanto para poder leer la siguiente parte hasta el próximo año, sin duda esa última parte me dejó bastante enganchada.

I really enjoy all of Dale Mayer's series of books but I think the Simon Says series has to be my favourite.
"Two bodies ? how can someone murder two people at the same time?"
Detective Kate Morgan had woken up to the call from a fellow detective. Two runners had been found dead on a very popular criss cross of runs in Stanley Park, how had no one seen anything, there were always runners there at all times of the day. There were no clues at all, the method of killing was unique, Kate had suspects but no evidence. When two more runners were murdered on the same run Kate realised that, although she didn't believe in psychic powers, she was hoping that Simon could come up with something.
Simon St. Laurant was a billionaire property developer, Simon had known from a very early age that he was different, he had inherited the same powers that his grandmother had, he had dreams and premonitions but for years he had tried to ignore them.
When one such dream had forced him to approach Kate a while ago she had reluctantly listened, it had helped solve the case and Kate, again reluctantly, had to admit to herself that there was something special about Simon. There was also Chemistry between Kate and Simon and a relationship had begun.
When Simon's dream was closer to home Simon would do anything to protect headstrong Kate, her life was in danger but from whom, would she be the next ? Would Simon be able to save her ?
This is a great story, both Kate and Simon are complex characters but very likable and I can't wait for their next adventure.

I love this Series by Dale Mayer. It is so different than her other ones, I look forward to each book in the Series. This book grabbed my attention and pulled me in right away. Since this is the 5th book, now we expect murder to have to be solve and insight into Kate and Simons latest relationship status.

It helps, but not absolutely necessary, to have read the prior books in the Series because they will give you a better understanding of the Series and of Kate and Simon. When you get to this book you will have a completely different understanding of what is occurring and why. Its like building blocks.

Nope! I wasn't disappointed. Kate has more than two murders to solve and struggling to find leads. Simon visions control is evolving. Can he control them, see the future or help the person in his vision? Kate and Simon faces new challenges together and a new stage in their relationship. Is Kate accepting more of Simon's talents and is she discovering some of her mystical talent?

The book will still keep you guessing and on your toes when every action occurs and unpredictable turns, who murdered who and why, growing visions or mystical talents, relationships complexities develops and heated up romance. I was sorry to see the book end because I wanted more. I can hardly wait to see what happens next.

I received a free copy of this book for an honest review. I would recommend this book to anybody who enjoys Romance Suspense, Mystery and Fiction books, and Series. This book is easy to read, a page-turner and full of delightful characters so grab yourself a copy, relax and have yourself an wonderful time.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Kate and Simon's relationship while not exactly conventional, has been progressing nicely. She still hasn't totally come to terms with his visions although she definitely can't deny they happen and are spookily accurate.

When Kate gets called, she really could have used the downtime with Simon. Murder waits for no one and she's off to join her partner Rodney to investigate. It's a bit disconcerting that the two victims appear to have been killed at the same time.

Simon has a nightmare vision after Kate leaves him, hours later actually. That being the case when she calls him back, she already knows what he's telling her. He tries not to let it get to him, but of course it does. He's even disappointed that Kate just goes home to crash after her day.

Although it's a Sunday, Simon goes through his normal routine, only to find himself waiting outside the police station for Kate.

This case has plenty of twists and turns and even Simon's visions are different than they have been.

There's a major difference for him and it points to his relationship with Kate even more than before.

I loved the intrigue, suspense and the continued growth of Simon and Kate's relationship.

I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

This is the first book in this series that I have read. I would recommend to anyone wanting to read this that I think the series should be read in order.

I felt like I walked into the middle of a story. Not the murder, but the relationship between Simon and Kate. There were comments throughout the book about previous events involving the two characters, but I never got a complete picture.

Their relationship felt very chaotic to me. It seemed like Simon was more into Kate than she was into him. She seemed dismissive and he would get angry, then they would be ok, then they would be snapping at one another.

Simon is having these visions that he can't control and Kate is irritated by them. I am not sure I understand the point of them having a relationship.

The murder case was interesting. I think if I continue with this series, I will have to go back and start at the beginning. This definitely did not feel like a stand alone to me.

I voluntarily read and reviewed this book received via Booksprout.

This one is not as creepy as the previous books and it's more of the relationship between Simon and Kate, so this one a bit heavy on the relationship, but I still enjoyed it nonetheless, because I root for this couple from the first book, I'm so invested in this couple, I just want they have their happily ever after.

As for the thriller, the case is pretty solid, I love the plot twist, I didn't see that coming. And for the action, I loveeeee that last few chapters, I'm on the edge of my seat the whole time expecting something bad to happen and the chase made my heart races, although I'm not a big fun how the case ended, it's still entertaining, I devoured it in one sitting and that sneak peek for the next book, OMG I need the next book like yesterday, everything is escalated and it's getting personal, I can't wait for the next book.

If you're looking for an easy-to-read paranormal thriller read, I totally recommended this series.

Simon Says… Run by Dale Mayer
Kate Morgan Series Book Five
Detective Kate Morgan is dedicated to her work. And unfortunately, her work never ends. Plenty of murders to keep her busy in Vancouver. This time it’s joggers who are being targeted…in pairs. Without any clues, she’s hoping Simon’s visions can help tell them something, but not this time. And, speaking of Simon, her busy work schedule makes it tough to spend quality time with him.
Simon St. Laurant is starting to accept his psychic abilities. Trying to find a way to take control of them. But, just as there is nothing he can do to convince the independent Kate of anything…the visions hold power too.
I really enjoy this series. I loved in this story how Kate has softened somewhat towards Simon. She’s still trying to deny how strong her attraction is, but she’s moving closer to accepting them.

This is a series that totally draws you in and while it is absolutely necessary to read the preceding books it will give you a far better understanding of what is going on especially between Kate and Simon

Kate is stunned and totally confused when she is called to two murders that happened at basically the same time with no forensic evidence of hoe it was done She is hoping it is a one off but then there are another two bodies again with no evidence She may not believe in Psychics and even after Simon helped with a previous case she questions his ability But she will need his help especially when he realises that Kate herself is in danger this time Another great story that has you guessing to the end.

Detective Kate Morgan an her boyfriend plan on spending her day off with each other when she gets a call about an unusual murder scene.Simon asks why she has to go but then kisses her wishing her a safe investigation. This story will keep you on the edge of your seats and the characters will captivate you.Simon hates that his gift of dreams. Sometimes he can't understand them an doesn't know how to control them.Who killed the two best friends that were out jogging like they always do?How did they kill both women at once?Is there more than one murderer? Is there a serial killer on the loose? There are so many twists and turns you will be riveted until the very last page.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.

Another twisted murder mystery. Interesting story with clues very sparse, I love The psycic element in this series because you just don't know what Simon will see in his visions or who will connect to him. I really like that the relationship is progressing and isn't just sex, they are doing other things and starting to talk more. I think Kate herself is the stumbling block to any more. Both characters are interesting and both have vulnerabilities from their pasts which do impact on their thinking and behaviour. I found this well written and a gripping read with plenty going on and a very realistic theme, as always it left me wanting more. Exciting and stimulating.

Simon and Kate seem to becoming closer not just physically but emotionally too. Simon realizes it and if he can convince Kate to move in with him she will also. Simon has been "dating" Kate. He has taken her to the beach, on a picnic, running together, out to eat, ordered in, cooked for her and even washes her clothes for her.

Kate is enjoying their time together but she is stumped by a double strangulation where both victims were one behind the other. There is absolutely no evidence and no leads. A really puzzling mystery.

I enjoyed this story and no idea who the killer could be.

I really enjoyed reading Simon Says Run .
It is book 5 in the Kate Morgan series . Kate and Simon find themselves deep in a double murder case . Kate finds herself called to the scene of two runners murdered on a running trail . Kate works to solve the murders and juggle her relationship with Simmon . As the killer escalates so does Simmons visions . Kate and Simmon will have to work together to stop the killer . This story is sensational . Full of suspense and it's intense . A top of the line thriller . I highly recommend taking the time to read.

It would be wise to take Simon St. Laurant's suggestion to run as his visions are not as accurate as he would like but they are accurate! Kate as his friend and detective is usually wanting a clearer picture as their relationship changes with both having interesting backgrounds which of course complicate things. It is page turning to watch them work together and solve the mystery presented to them. I really enjoy reading about these two and am looking forward to their next adventure!.

This is my favorite series from Dale Mayer. I might have said this about the last book I read in the series but it's so true. I love Simon who is coming to terms with the fact that he can't control his visions. Then there's Kate who’s coming to terms with the fact that the vision can help her save lives. Will Kate make a commitment to Simon, even though she knows Simon is the right man for her? The next book in the series is coming out soon and I can't wait.

This is becoming one of my fave series fron this author. The characters are great, not just working well together but a pleasure to follow their lives.
Kate must solve a murder of two women running, then another couple. Do we have a serial killer and why?
I had no idea who the killer was and that's the way I love it. The mystery then the aha moment.
Simon is once again having visions, when Kate's face appears in his vision he must hurry to make sure she's not a victim too.
Fantastic story, I loved every heart racing second.

Kate is called out to a popular area where joggers like to run. There she finds a double homicide. She must tear apart the lives of the runners to get to the bottom of this one. When everyone points a finger at one suspect only to have another pair turn up dead her and Simon must use her wits and his psychic abilities to solve this case before someone else ends up running out of time literally. Love the dynamics between Kate and Simon and how she's slowly warming up to him. Fantastic series with lots of intricacies. I volunteered to read this book via booksprout.

I rarely write recommendations unless I’m extremely excited about a book-sadly, this is not the case with this Kate Morgan book! The writing was so poor that I made it a little more than halfway through the book-then just gave it up and went to the end! So much repetition of exactly the same thoughts and speculations by the characters… with every new chapter I felt like I was just re-reading previous ones. Clearly I’ll be skipping the other books in this series and can only recommend that others do the same.

2 joggers killed while out running opens a can of worms for those left behind. Kate is hoping that its a one off than another pair is also killed. This story has it all. Killings, suicide attempts, old friends/teachers are brought together to try and solve these cases.
The link between Kate and Simon is getting stronger bringing new challenges to them.
Watching the team come together great relationships are building strongly.
A great read.

We have two women joggers who are best friends killed on the running trail and Kate is on the case. Simon starts having visions about a jogger but can't see who it is or when it will happen. There is plenty of twists and turns, murder, and mystery about this case which just keeps getting better as the book goes on. Simon and Kate's relationship is progressing which is nice to see. I was really surprised who the killer was, and I never suspected it which was great.

Kate and Simon's relationship gets deeper whilst Kate and the team try and track down who and why two runners were murdered and as always Simon' visions help but it takes a combination of leg work and visions to find the answers. As with every book in this series you get some great twists, frustrations and great characters as well as a crime that has you searching for clues within the pages yourself.

Another Great Story in the Kate Morgan series!!

I really love this series! However, it is starting to feel like Kate is always taking and never giving. In the relationship. Does Simon want a relationship like that? She is not very understanding either. Oh well I guess we will fine out in the books to come wether Kate mad Simon become a team that develops a partnership or not. It really is slow going. Stubborn Kate and confused Simon.
