I received this short story via the author's sign-up page. It is yet another enjoyable tale with the motley crew of characters featured in books 1 and 2, in a more mythical vein with a range of monsters and characters from traditional legends.
This one is much less well edited than the main books, with one or two word salad sentences and a higher density of word substitution errors (eg. cord vs chord, lent vs leant). Still a worthwhile read, and necessary if you want to know why the characters keep referring to Finnland in book 2 - but not necessary for reading book 2.
