A wonderful reference book that provides a good overview of the life of John Adams. Especially helpful are the resources in the back of the book about the different branches of government, qualifications for the office, benefits the President has like Air Force One and Camp David, a list of all the US presidents and their terms, and a glossary. A perfect book to learn a bit about Adams or to reference for a school report. For a relatively short book, it certainly contained a lot of information. I assume all presidents are included in this worthwhile series.

A good book for students who would have a harder time reading a larger book about history. This book could be used in addition to a few other small reads (picture books are WONDERFUL resources for learning so much about anything!) about John Adams, our Second President, and that time in our nations history.
