A small-town sunshine vet and a grumpy, big city lawyer find love in this adorable Christmas romance by bestselling author Dakota Rebel.
It all started with an injured rabbit…as these things usually do.
Was I creeping around a stranger’s front lawn in a sports bra and jogging shorts? Yes, yes I was. Was he super rude and obnoxious about it? Naturally.
He did agree to help me get the bunny to my office, and now we’ve got this weird pseudo-friendship thing happening.
Yeah, he’s a total grinch, but he’s so hot. And I just know that somewhere deep, deep, deep down he’s probably a really good guy. I mean, there has to be something that’s drawing me to him, right?
I believe that love is love and it happens in a flash.
Whether it starts with action and adventure and adrenaline...or with just a glance across a crowded room. Happily ever after is never far away.

First things first; I like the cover of this book! Sparkle is a novella in the ‘’forever safe the twelve days of Christmas’’ collection. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. When Sparkle finds an injured bunny in someone’s garden, she doesn’t expect to find love with the homeowner. The chemistry between Sparkle and Cameron is clear to see and I loved them together. I liked how opposite they were. Sparkle loved all things Christmas and Cameron was a Grinch. I loved that Cameron kept the bunny. I liked the ending and the epilogue for this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.
