I will say Crow was a little bit better than the first two books with two to more to go. Crow has been the brother that seemed to be angry all the time. Seemed to hate everything and almost everyone... well in the last book he liked Rose with Archer especially when they were fighting....he said she made him laugh so he accepted her... that's not a spoiler because it's before this book.

As always there's fighting with the other MC club that wants their part of the town. We do learn more about the Freeway Club and how they earn and treat each other.

Crow and Jade

Crow is the club treasurer for the Blazing Rebels MC who has had his heart broken and is maybe now ready to let go of the past and move on. Jade is an addict, a stripper and connected to the Prez of the Blazing Rebels’ enemy the Freeway Kings. I’d say that having that connection he felt with Jade probably is not one of the best choices but the thing is he does know of Jade’s connection with the Prez of the Kings. As things heat up the Freeway Kings are totally invested in taking out all the Blazing Rebels MC and doing it NOW.

3.5 stars- CROW is the third instalment in Ivy Black’s contemporary, adult BLAZING REBELS MC erotic, MC, romance series. This is club treasurer Michael ‘Crow’ Harley, and exotic dancer Jade Prescott’s story line. CROW can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary although there is an ongoing premise throughout.


WARNING: Due to the nature of the story line premise there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.


Told from dual first person perspectives (Crow and Jade) CROW follows the building romance and relationship between club treasurer Michael ‘Crow’ Harley, and exotic dancer Jade Prescott. Jade Prescott is an addict; an exotic dancer and ‘working girl’ tied to the president of the Freeway Kings but her attraction to Crow Harley is about to add fuel to an already raging fire as the Freeway Kings continue to target the Blazing Rebels. As the Rebels prepare for the wedding of Archer and Rose, Crow and Jade’s relationship is about the threaten the lives of everyone concerned. What ensues is the building relationship between Crow and Jade, and the potential fall-out as their affair is discovered, and the Freeway Kings intend to destroy what’s left of the Blazing Rebels.


The relationship between Jade and Crow is a forbidden relationship as Jade is the property of the Freeway Kings president but Crow is unaware of Jade’s connection and involvement with the Freeway Kings MC, and in this, the target against lives of his family and friends has grown much more dangerous and dark. The $ex scenes are erotic and intense.


There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including the membership of both the Freeway Kings and Blazing Rebels MC, their girlfriends and old ladies, as well as Jade’s friend Jess.


CROW is a story of betrayal and vengeance, addiction and abuse, power and control. The fast paced premise is gritty; the romance is passionate ; the characters are broken and struggling to heal.

This is the third book in this amazing series and is Michael / Crow and Jade’s story. Crow is the club treasurer, while Jade is an exotic dancer and an addict, who has ties to the President of a rival MC the Freeway Kings, and he knows that a relationship with Jade is forbidden. While the Blazing Rebels are preparing for Archer and Rose’s wedding, all the members have become a target as the Freeway Kings are out for vengeance. There are great secondary characters in this story. This is a well written fast paced read, with is dark, raw, gritty, intense, and with betrayal, vengeance, loyalty, undeniable chemistry, danger, suspense, family, friendships, and love, which leads to a steamy riveting page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is the third book in the Blazing Rebels MC and it is about forbidden love. Crow is a member of the MC with a past that has pulled him down. Jade is owned by their rival MC and things are not good for her. When they meet, there is that instant attraction but also something a little deeper pulling them together. The more they get to know each other, their feelings get deeper. It is a love affair in the middle of rivalry, violence, abuse, addiction and danger. The obstacles they face will have an effect on everyone. If they can survive them, they have a chance at a happy future together.

Jade a stripper was hired to do a lap dance for Crow at the bachelor party for Archer, that's how they met, she is the girlfriend of the President of the Freeway Kings, Ray a horrid person who controls her by keeping her hooked on drugs. At first, she and Crow are indifferent to each but when they keep meeting by accident they begin to talk and share their stories then they become friends which morphs into a relationship.

There was a little action but not a lot and the sex takes a back seat too, quite unusual for an MC storyline. 3.5 stars

Very dull writing and boring story, that sometimes felt juvenile. The characters are more like teenagers, with lots of their back and forth drama, that wasn't appealing or interesting to read. A pity, because it had the, 'she belongs to a rival mc' premise that I usually really like. But this was too dull and dragged out very little story and what little scenes of attraction there were between the characters with their back and forth 'I want him/her but I should and she/he probably doesn't like me' teenage like drama.

Crow is the third book in the Blazing Rebels MC series. In this one, Crow finally let’s go of his deceased wife and falls for Jade. Jade is everything that he should not want….the girlfriend of a rival gang, a drug addict, and a stripper. But they have a strong attraction that leads to romance. Letting go is never easy moving on is just the beginning but for Crow falling for Jade is about to bring trouble raining down once more. Jade is already taken but cant deny the draw towards Crow, can they make things work or will their loyalties be tested. well written great addition the the series, filled with actio, sizzling chemistry and more!

If there was a character who needed his story told, it was Crow. I have been curious about him since the first book in this series. He has always seemed so closed off, grumpy and anti relationship, with the big exception of Rose, who managed to get under his carapace. Action packed and full of surprises, this is my favourite in the series so far. I just could not see how Crow and Jade could overcome their difficulties. Excellent read.

Have to say I am liking the men in this MC more with every book. Crow is a grumpy man who thought he had his one and done years ago but Jade change all that. They both have their addictions but I think as future books will tell, they get past them. Great story with flawed characters I fell in love with.

Crow is focused on getting rid of the rival gang and has no room for a woman. Jade is a stripper who is in a terrible relationship with Crow's rival gangs president and sees Crow as a release from her screwed up life. But what happens when their world collide, can they both survive the violence?

This 3rd book in the series was great. I cannot wait to start book 4. The characters and the storyline s in this series are so true and I feel like I am living right beside them. I live the way they survived their lives. On to book 4.
