Molly Davis is a young woman with a lot on her shoulders.
Not only is her father seriously ill but she is left running the family store while her mother cares for him.
So when her Papa takes a turn for the worse she has little time for the handsome new stranger who has just arrived in town although there are a few other women vying for his attention.
Yet when Josh rescues her from potential harm and is then shot himself she realizes her true feelings.
But does he feel the same way or has someone else in Johnson Ridge caught his eye and Molly has left it too late to act?
This is Book #2 in the Johnson Ridge series and is Molly and Josh's story. Molly is busy helping care for her seriously ill father including running the family store. Josh is a new man in town but Molly has no time to even meet him. Then Josh rescues Molly from danger but is shot himself forcing Molly to spend more time with him. Molly begins to develop feelings for Josh but does he feel the same ? While this is a good story, it actually has no ending and will apparently be continued in Book #3 in the series. I enjoyed the story and I know you will too.
Just love small village story, best friend Molly and Claire, tragedy strike, you will be captivated by the emotions. Lots of decisions made by Molly for the good of the family, lots of twists and turns keeps you on the tip of your seat. And a great cliffhanger to keep us wanting more in the next book in this series, can’t wait. Thanks to the author for providing my review copy.
Her father is dying She is at his bedside — and when the bell goes letting her know someone is the store she goes and tells him off!!! And life gets very interesting as they get to know each other!! GREAT BOOK. I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All thoughts and comments are my own.
Great story but I hated the way the writer left the end. What happened to Claire? This could have been one of the books I have ever read but there was no good ending nor epilogue. I rate it a 3 because the story isn’t complete.
This story was about Claire...meeting secretly, getting knocked up, and then getting married. There was nothing Christian about this, though it was clean.
