Without a doubt Shadow/Bennett and Shila/butterfly are the best couple in the series. They needed each other so much, especially after all the years apart. Young love and heartbreak was in their past but now that they found each other again......true love and happiness is their future. Shadow was basically forced out of town and left his heart with Shila when he did. Shila watched as Shadow left knowing that she was saving his future even at the cost of her heart.

They both held onto their love over the years and there was never anyone else. When their paths crossed again Shadow was determined to show Shila that nothing and no one would ever come between them again. I love that they both carried the same picture no matter where life took them. And let's not forget Shadow's tattoo 😍

Together Shadow and his butterfly were able to heal and finally have the life they dreamed of.

Long Lost Love Found Again

This is Bennett/Shadow’s story. He runs into Shila/Butterfly a woman that he left behind so many years ago while he is in Louisiana visiting a brother. It so happens she works at the same place that Shadow is staying at while there.

This is a fast-paced sweet romance done biker style. It’s about love coming back full circle and a future with their happily ever after.

OMG!!! WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.

Shadow/Bennett and Shila knew each other in high school, but her parents didn't want them together. So Shila's parents call the cops to have Bennett arrested for statutory rape, or he leaves town. Everything went downhill for Shila after Bennett left, she wasn't living so when she graduated high school she left her parents. Shila looked for Bennett, but couldn't find him so she settled in Louisiana helping out Jolie Sinful at The Breezeway Inn. Shadow shows up with Shovel Wild and Razor Dirty after Rage Sinful needs them. Bennett follows Shila around getting to know her routine. After Rage and Jolie leave to go on a ride, Bennett goes to find Shila to talk to her. Shila tells Bennett she wants to have this talk back at her place, so she climbs on the back of his motorcycle and he takes her home. Bennett finds out what happened after he left, she tells him she wanted to come with him. Shila's parents would have just dragged her back home, and they couldn't get married since she was only sixteen. So now Shila is working and trying not to have debt while she takes massage therapy classes. Bennett kisses Shila, then he tells her to turn her brain off they're going to order some food, relax and if she feels like talking that's fine. Shila tells him she's going to take a quick shower, she doesn't fall apart until she comes out of the shower and wraps the towel around her. When Bennett hears her hit the floor he walks into the bathroom picks her up and carries her to the couch. After twenty minutes of Shila crying Bennett tells her she needs to stop, but she tells him she can't she's waiting for the other shoe to drop. Bennett tells her he's not going anywhere, he's not going to leave her this time. Bennett tells her to go get dressed, he doesn't want to take things any further but she's wrapped in a towel and it keeps sliding. Bennett tells her he wants to work on their relationship and get her in the right mindset. Shila tells him that her head knows that, but her heart is different. Shila wakes up alone Bennett was true to his work he wants them to work on their relationship. Bennett comes back to Shila's apartment before she's out of bed, he brings her coffee and tells her he's taking her to school. After Bennett takes Shila to school he wants to have a talk with Shovel, Razor and Rage about moving to Louisiana permanently. After Shila gets to work, Jolie talks to her about Shadow. Shila tells Jolie that she knew Bennett when she was fifteen he was her first everything. Jolie tells Shila she needs to take some time off and spend it with Shadow. When Bennett and Rage find Shila and Jolie they are hugging and crying, the men question them what's going on. Jolie tells Bennett that he needs to take Shila and get away from he weekend. Shila tells Bennett they don't have to go anywhere, but he tells her they are. Bennett tells Shila to pack light and then they take off and are riding for a while. Bennett pull up to an old cottage, they head inside and their hands are all over one another. Bennett finds out that she hasn't been with anyone else, and Shila finds out he hasn't been with anyone else. Bennett takes them to the bedroom where he pleasures her then they make love. Bennett tells her he loves her and Shila tells him she loves him, she loved him when she was a girl, she's loved him through the years and she still loves him. Bennett is up early and Shila wakes alone, she tells him he's suppose to sleep in their on vacation. When Bennett goes to Rage to talk to him about making a permanent move to Louisiana, he tells him they needs to have church and make the phone call. Everything is settled, and Shadow can stay and help Rage, but they'll need him to come back to Texas for one last job. When Shila overhears that Bennett will be leaving to head to Texas she doesn't think twice and heads to talk to Jolie, she wants to go with him. Then Shila heads to Bennett's room, when he opens the door she has her bag already packed, she tells him she can take her classes online. Bennett can't believe she'd do that for him, she nods her head. They head out early the next morning, heading back to Texas. When they arrive at the clubhouse, Shila watches as all his brothers great him and knows he has a great family here. After Shila gets to know Sadie, Fallon, and Monroe since she already met, Raven and Persephone back at the Inn. Bennett comes and takes her to his room, he gives her a bath. Then Bennett tells Shila he'll be leaving in the middle of the night to take care of some club business. When Shadow arrives back at the clubhouse they call Church and talk about what went down. Then Bennett heads back to Shila to get some sleep. Bennett finds Shila sitting up in bed holding the picture of them, the one she gave him before he left. Bennett tells her he's always carried her with him. Shila goes to her bag and pulls out the same picture the one she carries with her, she tells him she carries him with her always. Nothing more needs to be said. Right now, it’s time for him to show his woman in every way imaginable just how much he loves her. One year later, within the last year Shila and Bennett got married and now she four months along with their son. Three years later, Bennett and Rage now run the Louisiana chapter of the Diamondback MC. They have a son Silas, and Shila is expecting. Shila never went back to work after Silas was born, Bennett told her she didn't need to.
The Texas Chapter should be rolling in tomorrow, a couple of guys in tow willing to move and become prospects, and then they’ll go from there. In the meantime, they’re keeping things small, for now at least. Being selective is key in our way of life.

You know why I love novellas so much?



There is very rarely unnecessary bullshit in the stories. The couple meets, they fall in love, they deal with their drama together. Their relationship is strong from the start.



You can dive into these stories and not lose any sleep. You can fall into a completely ridiculous world for an hour or two.

This series was exactly what I needed right now. This was a great second-chance novella. It gives you just enough story and smut to help you sleep peacefully.

Shadow and Shila's second chance romance really hits you in the feels with how fate brings them back to each other. They were each other's first loves but her parents were determined to tear them apart and they succeeded but Shila was determined to protect Bennett and Bennett left town to protect Shila. Fast forward all these years later and Shila has left Texas and is working at the hotel in Louisiana where Shadow shows up to help Rage. Shila is working while she goes to school to be a massage therapist she's got big plans that include her own business. They're soulmates and they're both still in love with each other there's no one else for either of them. This is such a beautiful romantic story I have read this entire series and I loved it but this was my favorite book. I would definitely recommend reading this AMAZING book!

Second chances are sometimes everything and fate is a fan of second chances as well seeing that she brought them back together. They were each other’s loves but her coming from a different background one where her parents controlled everything and most definitely want her with a bad boy. The beautiful thing is she wanted to protect him from her parents and he wanted to protect her so he left town now fast forward to today neither expecting to see the other but here we are She moved from home working in Louisiana at a hotel were Shadow shows up to help Rage and when they see each other everything they gave up all the feelings, chemistry came rushing back to them full force but will they grab ahold of the second chance provided to them and finally fin their happiness without interruptions from her parents?

This is number 7 of the Diamondback MC series and it is Shadow and Shilas' story. These two were high school lovers but Shila was younger than Shadow, real name Bennet, and when her parents found out they forced them apart. But they have always loved each other and have dreamed of being together again. This was a really sweet and sexy love story of two people finding each other and making it work together. As I was reading this book I felt all their emotions as they worked through their past and started working on their future. Of course there are always things going on with the MC but I think the MC play such a secondary role in this title and I thought that was great. This is a wonderful fun sexy couple who finally get their love and lives they deserve. Great love story very sexy read.

Wicked is heart tugging second chance MC romance that will pull at you every step of the way. After being ripped apart when they were younger, chance brings them back together with Bennett shows up in Louisiana. Shila left her home in Texas shortly after Bennett was forced to leave town, now keeping to herself and just trying to get her degree, she comes face to face with the only man that holds her heart.

Wicked is a great addition to a series that keeps you on the edge. Bennett and Shila passion and love has proved to stand up to the test of time. Once they find their way back together they are not willing to part again. This is a story that was hard to put down and I can't wait for the next book.

This is a touching, tender love story. Shila and Shadow were in love from the moment they saw each other. There love was going last forever. Shila’s parents created problems for Shadow. Shadow had to leave town and he had to leave Shila behind. He looked for her everywhere but he couldn’t seem to find her. Shila had left town to get away from her parents. She has taken a job at a hotel as a cleaning lady. One day she turns around and the love of her life is behind her. Shadow has finally found her. They have a lot of things they must work out. Can they figure out their next step? Can Shadow come clean with the MC? After all this do they still love each other? It is a short story but it is a powerful, intense love story. So very, very good!

Bennett and Shila were together during school but when he turned 18, her parents tried to break them up by putting him in jail for having sex with a minor. He left and so did she once she graduated two years later. Years later they cross paths in Louisiana while he is helping out a fellow MC member set up a new chapter. Once they reconnect, it all skyrockets in the best of ways.
The characters are terrific, with intense feelings, emotions and the same picture to get them through their time apart. The storyline flows well with drama, surprises, laughter, banter, and tight-knit friends. Loved how they found their new family, that helped them become stronger, more confident and loved unconditionally. Great ending.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the seventh book in the Diamondback MC series. In this book, Shadow, (Bennett) is visiting Rage and sees his highschool sweetheart living in the same small town. Shila was Bennett's first love, but because he was 18 and she was 16, her parents forced them apart. Now years later, Shila has left home and started over and is working her way through college. Bennett wants to talk to Shila and settle their past so they can have a future, but Shila blames herself for not going with Bennett when he was forced out of town years before. I really loved this second chance romance. I think they both still loved each other and i think they were meant to find one another again. This was another great one in a great series.

I have been intrigued with Shadow from the minute he was mentioned. He was so worth the wait! He never revealed much of his past to his brothers. That was a pain he kept to himself. Now he is in Louisiana helping his club brother Rage. When he arrived he found that his past was now back in his life. Shila has carried a deep sadness around for years. She never expected the man who owns her heart to come back into her life. Can they have the happy ever after they deserve? This was so romantic, oh my heart just melted. He never looked at another woman after they were torn apart! I loved that they stayed devoted to each other, even though they both thought they would never see each other again. LOVED it!

This is book number 7 of the Diamondback MC series and focuses on Bennett (Shadow) and Shila. This is hands down my favorite book one of the series so far! Bennett and Shila fell hard in love while they were teenagers until they were ripped away from each other. I LOVED that there was never anyone else for either of them even during the years they were separated from each other. They were completely devoted to each other and knew that there would never be anyone else for either one of them. I loved seeing them finally getting their HEA together! This was such a great addition to the series and I can't wait for the next story in the series.

Shadow left his hometown leaving behind the only girl he ever loved. He is surprised to see her working at the Breezeway Inn when he sees her for the first time in years. She keeps moving thru the place like she is avoiding him, that has got to end.

Shila was heart broken when at sixteen she told Shadow to leave, it was to protect him from going to jail. She managed to finish high school but as soon as was done she headed out of town on a bus. She has worked two jobs and is finishing school, at twenty five she is just a couple months from finishing. She is afraid he hates her, that will break her.

This is my favorite of the series, they get a second chance for their happy ending.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. Since he first made an appearance in the Diamondback MC series, I was curious about Bennett. He patched in as Shadow and is a great guy. He and Shila were young sweethearts that had been separated years ago. Neither of them ever moved on from loving each other. Imagine their surprise when he joins Rage and they meet again. Now they get their chance as adults with nothing keeping him from his woman. This was a great love story to add to the series. There is some MC drama, but mainly their story is about second chances. I have enjoyed the entire series

I LOVED this steamy second chance MC romance. I’ve been looking forward to Shadow’s story as I’ve read about him in the other books, and I was thrilled with how his story played out! Shila is his perfect match and their story was beautiful in its heartbreak, super steamy, and a second chance they both deserved!!

Shadow and Shila were high school sweethearts but her parents did not approve. They caused problems until Shadow ended up leaving town resulting in broken hearts for both of them. Their love is so strong and pure that you will LOVE how they have spent their time apart. Neither one ever got over the other and now that they are reunited Shadow will make sure they are never apart again!

I thought that this was a wonderful book. I loved Shadow and Shelia together. These to finally get a second chance after close to 10 years apart. Now that Shadow (Bennett) has found his woman again, he is going to anything and everything to keep her by his said. I loved the connection and the chemistry between these two. There is a little bit of eavesdropping and a small misunderstanding but very little drama and an excelling HEA. I can't want for Bullet's book. I would recommend this book, this series, and Ms. Tory as an awesome author.

Tory Baker has to me one of my top all time favorite authors ever, I’ve never read a book from her that I didn’t love. This series is so effing good, the stories are so interesting and they keep you invested. They are beautiful stories that are steamy hot with a bit of humor (in my opinion). This one in particular has to be my favorite so far and that’s saying a lot because I love all the books in this series. But I’m a sucker for second chances and this is just that. Definitely read it.
10/10 recommend!!

I received this book in advance for a voluntary honest review. Shila and Shadow were each other’s firsts, but they were torn apart by Shila’s family. Years later, a hardened Shadow/Bennett is a member of the Diamondbacks MC visiting one of his MC brothers in Louisiana when he sees Shila for the first time in years. True to his name he watches her from the shadows until he sees her walking home alone and decides to make his move because he will always protect Shila. Can they pick up where they left off or has time ruined them. Sweet, sexy and another perfect addition to the Diamondback series.

I love this series - all these men of the Diamondback MC are so different in the best ways. This is an emotional second chance romance. Shadow travels to help Rage, not realizing that his past is also there. Shila is carrying around so much hurt and sadness from when her and Shadow were torn apart. Once these two meet and see each other again, their emotions and chemistry flares up. This was quite the emotional one for me for some reason but I loved it (and I'm not a fan of second chance!). Such a great read, highly recommend.

Absolutely loved Shadow and Shila as a couple. They had a love and bind when they were young and then people come to tear them apart. Even though they have both grown up and had different experiences they have always loved each other and there was never anyone else for either of them. Fate has its way of working out when they both end up together Shila going to school and working at the inn. Shadow had come to the inn for the club and saw Shila. Once they found each other neither was willing to let go again. This book was awesome read. One of my
Favorite couples. I couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait to see what happens next. I highly recommend this book

I kind of loved this story even though it had a long separation which I typically dislike. It was sweet but steamy, entertaining, and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and likable. I wanted more with regards to Shila's parents and their issues but I think it was more that I wanted Shila to kind of be like - I made it without you! Shila and Bennett (Rocket) had been in love when they were teenagers. After being separated (8 years) they run into each other again. Shila had been avoiding Bennett but decided that she was going to talk to him. There is some drama and a tiny bit of angst but they work things out. I loved their happily ever after. I recommend reading this book.

Loved this book, and can't not wait for the next in this series. I can't get enough of these tough sexy bikers who are so sweet loving and caring for their women..
Pain and sorrow having to watch your one true love have to walk away and disappear. Searching for him years and not finding him. Leaving and starting on your own.
Shadow (Bennett) was run out of town, having to leave his first love behind.. but destiny brings them back together years later when neither expected to find eachother again. But now they are together again, nothing will ever pull them apart again.

I am so in love with this series and Wicked was no exception. I really enjoyed reading Shadow and Shila's book. Shila and Shadow were in love but ripped apart as teenagers by her family. They never forgot each other. But they are finally getting their second chance when Shadow joins his MC brother Rage in Louisiana and finds Shila working at the Breezeway Inn. Looking forward to Bullet's story next. 5 stars.

Shadow loved and lost and has never loved again. He is a one woman man and that woman is Shila. He had to leave and left her behind and never forgot her. He travels to help one of his MC brothers and meets up with Shila again. This is a great story with a wonderful ending. Shila and Shadow are great together. This is a great book. I love the MC stories and I loved this book and the rest of the ones in the series. Great book.

Shadow and Shila have a sorted past. One that ended more than just a relationship.  But Fate has reintroduced them.  Shadow watches the woman that stole his heart.  She’s matured into a beautiful woman and working to make it on her own.

Shila knew letting Shadow go was a mistake.  But a mistake she thought was for his own good.  But he’s back in her life, wanting everything they never thought possible.

I really enjoyed Shila and Bennet's story. One of the things I liked about it was how Shila never gave up the idea of finding Bennet again. I found the whole story entertaining. Though Bennet had to walk away from Shila he understood and never held what happened against her. The connection they had since they were younger never went away. The chemistry between them was amazing. The struggles they went through to get to their HEA mad it all seem worth it in the end.

Two halves are reunited after being ripped apart by Shila's controlling family. Fate brings the childhood sweethearts back together after some of life's journey. Still totally dedicated and in love with each other.

Don't let the title mislead you, this is a completely sweet love story. Once reunited, they are both wise enough to know better than waste any time. They grab onto and hold what they have.
