Due solitudini

Nel settembre del 1967 l'Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería peruviana invita a Lima Gabriel García Márquez, che da pochi mesi ha pubblicato "Cent'anni di solitudine". L'eccezionale successo lo ha reso la figura più in vista della letteratura latinoamericana, una leggenda vivente. A Lima si trova anche Mario Vargas Llosa, fresco vincitore del premio Rómulo Gallegos per "La casa verde".
I due futuri premi Nobel sono i protagonisti di un evento che va ben oltre le abituali conferenze: un dialogo sull'essenza e il futuro del romanzo, latinoamericano e non solo. Dalle loro parole emergono le due diverse personalità e nei vivaci scambi di battute risuonano grandi temi come la responsabilità del romanziere o il peso del convulso mondo politico sudamericano nella letteratura; ma soprattutto aleggia quel concetto di "realismo magico" che proprio da "Cent'anni di solitudine" si sarebbe imposto come il carattere più tipico della letteratura latinoamericana.
D'altronde, in quel fatidico 1967 il boom della letteratura latinoamericana era al suo esordio: come a Macondo, «il mondo era così recente che molte cose erano senza nome».

Gabriel José de la Concordia Garcí­a Márquez was a Colombian novelist, short-story writer, screenwriter and journalist. Garcí­a Márquez, familiarly known as "Gabo" in his native country, was considered one of the most significant authors of the 20th century. In 1982, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature.

He studied at the University of Bogotá and later worked as a reporter for the Colombian newspaper El Espectador and as a foreign correspondent in Rome, Paris, Barcelona, Caracas, and New York. He wrote many acclaimed non-fiction works and short stories, but is best-known for his novels, such as One Hundred Years of Solitude (1967) and Love in the Time of Cholera (1985). His works have achieved significant critical acclaim and widespread commercial success, most notably for popularizing a literary style labeled as magical realism, which uses magical elements and events in order to explain real experiences. Some of his works are set in a fictional village called Macondo, and most of them express the theme of solitude.

Having previously written shorter fiction and screenplays, García Márquez sequestered himself away in his Mexico City home for an extended period of time to complete his novel Cien años de soledad, or One Hundred Years of Solitude, published in 1967. The author drew international acclaim for the work, which ultimately sold tens of millions of copies worldwide. García Márquez is credited with helping introduce an array of readers to magical realism, a genre that combines more conventional storytelling forms with vivid, layers of fantasy.

Another one of his novels, El amor en los tiempos del cólera (1985), or Love in the Time of Cholera, drew a large global audience as well. The work was partially based on his parents' courtship and was adapted into a 2007 film starring Javier Bardem. García Márquez wrote seven novels during his life, with additional titles that include El general en su laberinto (1989), or The General in His Labyrinth, and Del amor y otros demonios (1994), or Of Love and Other Demons.

_ تصور می‌کنم کتابخوانی موضوعی بود که بیشتر از همه بر دوستی ما سایه افکنده بود.

وقتی این کتاب رو تو کتاب‌فروشی دیدم، فکر نمی‌کردم کتاب جدیدی باشه که نخونده باشم، سرچ کردم دیدم چاپ اوله. گفتم شاید ترجمه‌های متفاوت داشته باشه ولی چیزی دستگیرم نشد. تو گودریدز عنوان فارسیش رو سرچ کردم بازم چیزی نبود و عنوان اصلی هم که سرچ کردم چیزی پیدا نکردم، خلاصه چند تا عنوان مشابه برام آورد که فکر می‌کنم این کتابی که الان دارم براش ریویو می‌نویسم همین کتاب " ادبیات آتش است." ، هست. خلاصه اگر کسی تو این زمینه اطلاعات داره ممنون میشم راهنمایی کنه.🙂
خیلی کتاب باارزش و خوبی بود و واقعا از خوندنش لذت بردم. بخش اول کتاب گفتگوی یوسا و مارکز هست که یوسا پرسش‌گر و مارکز پاسخ‌دهنده هست. آن‌ها درباره‌ی ادبیات به طور کلی، ادبیات امریکای لاتین و آثار مارکز و ارتباطات آن‌ کتاب‌ها و صرفا ادبیات با مسائل روز امریکا از جمله مسائل سیاسی و اجتماعی و فرهنگی، با هم صحبت می‌کنند که اگر آثارش رو خونده باشید خیلی میتونه براتون جالب و هیجان‌انگیز باشه. بخش دوم تحت عنوان " زندگی و ادبیات" اطلاعاتی از زندگی مارکز را آورده و بخش سوم باز هم نظرات یوسا در مورد مارکز هست، تحت عنوان "گارسیا مارکز به روایت بارگاس یوسا" ...
بخش چهارم " ادبيات آتش است" ، متن سخنرانی یوسا هنگام دریافت جایزه بین‌المللی در سال ۱۹۶۷ هست. در ادامه در مورد دوستی یوسا و مارکز می‌خوانیم و در خاتمه تعدادی تصاویر بسیار جذاب...
حس خوب صحبت از نویسندگان آشنا مثل فوئنتس عزیز و بقيه نویسندگان و حس خوب خواندن درباره‌ی ادبیات و کتاب‌ها در این کتاب به خوبی مشهود بود که میتونه خیلی خیلی دلپذیر باشه.

I never imagined that 153 pages could have such a vast body of literary information.
Gabriel Garca Márquez was a Colombian novelist, screenwriter, journalist, and author of short stories.
His main claim to fame is his popularization of the magical realism literary subgenre.
In realistic and everyday circumstances, magical components and happenings are used in magical realism.
The book uses a variety of narration techniques, including dialogue, description, narrative, and monologue.
It reads like a condensed biography of Garcia since it mentions so many significant events from his life, including his early years, writing career, political engagement, and exile.
The majority of the book is an interview between Garcia and Yosa.
The book uses complex vocabulary, allowing the reader to expand his "linguistic" universe.
This book needs to be added to your list right away if you enjoy his writings.
Before starting this particular book, I advise you to read some of his other works.

Una joya. Muestra siluetas de dos escritores latinoamericanos importantes que tuvieron impacto en el desarrollo de la literatura latinoamericana. Aunque los diálogos son más enfocados en la persona de Gabriel García Márquez. Antes de leer esta posición recomiendo leer "Cien años de soledad". Gracias a esta lectura encontré las respuestas que buscaba desde hace mucho tiempo, como por ejemplo: ¿por qué todos personajes de "Cien años de soledad" tienen el mismo nombre? También se descubre los hechos de vida de escritor, ¿de dónde sacaba ideas?, ¿cómo estaba el proceso de creación de libro? ¿si escribira de si mismo y de su familia?, etc.

Buona fonte d'informazione sulla figura di Márquez e anche di Llosa. Agile e veloce, si legge molto bene. Forse un po' ripetitivo nei concetti.
