Comma Press and the University of Central Lancashire are proud to host the annual Dinesh Allirajah Prize for Short Fiction, in memory of much-loved lecturer, author and musician Dinesh Allirajah (1967-2014). For this year's prize, authors were asked to submit short stories on the theme of 'Home'. The eight stories in this anthology were chosen by students at UCLan from almost 600 submissions as the finest examples of this. The judges of the 2021 prize included author Courttia Newland, Abi Fellows (The Good Literary Agency), Alfred Searls (Northern Soul) and Dr Philip Braithwaite (UCLan).
