I read this because of a my-friends-picked-a-story-for-me-to-read situation. Was pleasantly surprised that it had more of a plot than I expected, but this story just wasn’t for me.

has potential
With there being so little to this story offered, it is really hard to get a solid reading for this story’s plot, characters, and their growth to come. Mainly this introduces you to two of the main characters, I’m assuming anyway, the way the world is set up, the council and their way of leading, and the reason for why they are on this planet and why earth has abandoned them. When it comes to the single intimate moment it is quickly described and over before you know it. Light spanking, a coupling, then it is over. Not sure if this will continue to be the norm but this story would get a single flame for hotness/spiciness and maybe a single eggplant. I might continue to see what the first real book brings but as for this one it is just a quick read to pass the time.

Submission serves as a prequel to Stolen and Sold.
Like any good prequel this establishes the world and culture, giving us a glimpse of this society, and a hint at the weak spots to keep an eye on as stories unfold.
Through Wen and Olo we discover not only how these people came to be on Strafor, but how Strafor forced them to change when they arrived and started building their new lives here.
Wen can see, and understand, the changes that were impossible to avoid, and the adaptations and changes his people have done everything they can to avoid... but eventually, if you don't adapt, what then?

He is my mate
I LOVED IT!! This is a quick hot, hot, sexy as all get out read! The author has made this omegaverse slightly different which adds new elements to the story. Her characters came to life in my mind, especially Olo the omega. This is an MM based story. If this type of book is not your cup of tea don't read it. Danielle this is one of the best books that you have written and I have read!

I loved this book! It was a short, sexy read. Great world building- impressive considering the length of this story. I was completely fascinated with this world. I was also quick to adore these characters- especially Olo. Their story continues in the anthology Chosen By An Alien, which I have to get now because I want to read their journey. 5 stars

This is a nice surprise from this author. I was not expecting it and it's usually not a pairing I'd read in general as I'd usually prefer there to be a female involve but that doesn't mean I'm not open to reading MM stories either. This is a prequel short and I'd really enjoyed it so now I need to go read their full book. I think I'd preordered it without knowing, LOL.

An interesting prequel to what could be an interesting book. Starts as an MM but maybe a MMF. Alpha/omega chemistry with breeding males, maybe. Could be good start for the Strafor series. Kinda a we'll see.....

I (usually) like D.E. Chaomand books, and I think if you like dark romance, then you would definitely enjoy this author. I like how all her books are different in a way but keep the same essential likeness of her stories.

So I know this is a prequel, and meant to be short, but it was so addicting to read. It is mainly MM so if you don't like that then go ahead and skip this one. But if you do like it or can give it a try I think you'll love this one!

Quick and steamy Omegaverse read. This is a prequel introducing Olo and Wen with intense chemistry and features MM, MFM and MMF. Great world building and an entertaining story. Looking forward to more in the series.

This is my first time reading a MM story by the author. She definitely knows how to write a steamy scene between an MF Alpha and omega. I was interested to see her take on the Omegaverse MM. Let's just say it was just as naughty as I thought.
This new universe she created has so much potential. I'm intrigued to see if there will be more stories that she creates coming out of it. Overall it was a great Jumpstart into what I hope is new beginnings.

too short
It’s off to a good start but way too short. By the time you start to really get into the story, it’s over. I would have loved more detail into the society, the mutations, the dynamics.
I’m hoping the next story continues this one and gives more information.

Everything this author writes is gold!!
Wen is alpha Olo is omega and this is their first meeting. Of course this is a prequel I already have the first book so I can't wait to finish their story.😍😍😍😍😍

Olo is chosen for Wen when it come time for the alpha to pick his omega. Olo has been rejected by two previous alphas so he's not sure Wen will keep him. His future does not look good if he fails to bond for a third time. Very short story but well written. I hope book two is as good.

I didn't see that it was a man on man short story. At first I thought it was a typo or error.. I'm not really into that, but i like the story line and would be interested in reading more of a man on woman story line.

Submission by D.E. Chapman – This may be the most surprising alien political system yet. It may be the only omegaverse book where the betas make up the ruling council. I will be back for the rest of the series! Happy Reading!

Short but sweet
This is a quick read but totally worth it. This novella provides great background information as the starter in a series. Very well done and entertaining to read.
