This is the final book in the Suncrest Bay series and it did not disappoint. It flowed right from where Book 2 (Treacherous Truths) left off and Kay did a phenomenal job keeping up with the plot while not letting me down on the spice (cause damn.. she knows how to write spice)
Vanessa is a badass and shows that even though we don't NEED a man... it's okay to let one in. Especially if that man is the definition of "touch her and you die"
I'm sad for the series to be over, but Kay Riley did a beautiful job as not rushing the ending while also not dragging it out. It was a natural flow through and through and the end message is clear... Ky and Vee are meant to be and no one will mess with that.

4.5 stars. (this is my official review for the entire series).
I binged the entire series in two days and I do not regret it at all. Each book just got better and better.
The author does a fantastic job at making every chapter interesting, and literally everything in this series was interconnected, whether it was obvious or not. In other words, Kay Riley is a fucking genius. It got a little repetitive and confusing at some points, but it was definitely a rollercoaster of a emotions.
She mixes the plot with romance and smut so well that there is a not a single boring moment. There’s tons of twists, turns, unexpected plot twists as well as scenes that are sexy as hell. Went into the book with no expectations and I didn’t even know what the premise was and I came out pleasantly surprised.
I already love the childhood lovers-enemies-lovers trope but this was just *chefs kiss*, and the FMC being a total badass was the cherry on top. Vanessa was so flawed yet so likeable and I honestly love how she couldn’t control her anger (she’s just like me fr 😭) because it made her character so much more three dimensional. Ky is also hot asf and the fact that he would do anything for his girl is just 😫😫 i need him so bad. Underrated book bf fr.
Also I’m so glad this wasn’t the typical “revenge is bad, we should be better than that” because I’m so sick of that. I WANT TO SEE BLOODTHIRSTY WOMEN WHO ARE OUT FOR REVENGE. and that is exactly what the author delivered. She ate and left absolutely zero crumbs. This series is my new obsession.

That was such a beautiful ending to such a wild ride story
There wasn’t a point where I felt the story drag, there was constant things happening. Even if it was a small bit of information you get, it moved consistently and left you needing to turn the page.
Also whatever you think is gonna happen, whatever plot twist or secret that you think is gonna be revealed, you’re wrong. So much was revealed that I didn’t see coming. I’m sad that this is the ending of Kyro and Vanessa but it was a ride well worth it.
10/10 series recommend

Finally Ky and Vee get to have theirs

The final book in the Suncrest Bay series by Kay Riley was phenomenal. I may go as far as to say book 3 may have been the best one yet. The whole book was action packed, never a dull moment. The culmination of Vee and Ky’s story was everything I hoped for, and ultimately now I’m sad it’s done!
Vee is finally getting all the secrets out in the open and it would seem she is finally letting Ky in. Ky will do all he can to protect Vee, as will best friends Zak and Ryker. Vee may have lost her family all those years ago, just she grew her chosen family.
Vee and Ky get thrown through the wringers and ultimately come out the end stronger than ever. With help from her families allies along with new found deals, Vee finds herself lead/charge of the whole western coast. Pretty awesome considering what she found out about who her parents really were, and just how far into this life she was.
I loved how Vee was miss independent but is finally realizing just how much Ky truly loves her and they can lean on each other. Their love makes them stronger not weaker. Ky and Vee are so explosive together is too damn 🥵. Can we also talk about the scene at the clubhouse and exploration!?! Holy. Steamy. Hell. 🔥 🥵 💦
High recommend this whole series! Please, binge it now!!!! Hopefully we will see more of Suncrest Bay in some spin offs!?!

What up with the girl on girl with no warning?
I was already frustrated with this series because she twisted and dragged the main plot over a field of nail till the main plot was a big pile of scrap. This should have been over in book 2 but nope we got all the gangs ,the god farther,mafia aces and I'm starting to think this old folks home is going to be involved in the end. 🙄 I get to about 80 something % and we get the girls on girl .....nope .I basically said that's it I'm done . I don't like to read it ,I don't like to see it .so I'm not going to continue reading it This is a pet peeve with me . I stopped reading a 20 book series because girl on girl was threw in ...I was invested in the characters but I do not enjoy reading this and not going to apologize for it. The no warning to reader causes.writers to get low reviews from ppl.that usually would not pick up the books had a warning been given
So yes I don't know if she and her guy got a happy ending or anything else .I literally stopped. reading book.I was already aggravated with the twisting and non answers, then you add this.... f\f is all writer had to do to avoid my low review.🤷 and if it's there ? Vanessa and Ky are soulmates. They know each other and will do anything to ensure they are safe. Vanessa is strong and willing to fight for her life and happiness. She has survived the impossible and never has she given up on herself.
Ky is the star of this series. He has protected Vanessa, and he won't let anyone harm her. He will kill anyone that stands in her way. I love how much he loves her and how he never allows her to give up on herself. He gives her anything she needs and will never let her down.
Vanessa is a fighter, and I love her strength in all of this. No matter what she uncovered or what situation she faced, she never let that change her. Vanessa made each moment make her stronger. She is a badass lady that will fight for those she loves.

This is bitter sweet for me!
I dived into this book, needing to know what happened after the cliffhanger in Treacherous Truths, I needed answers, and I needed to know do they all got the happy ever after they so deserved!
This book and the entire series was incredible, I have loved and hated almost every moment of it simultaneously!
The push and pull between Vee and the other characters kept me going back for me, but also had me screaming out of frustration!
I loved the fact she had the backing of so many, but lost if those she didn’t need it, she was one bada** female who held her own in a male dominated world!
The sex in this series who hot, but the clubhouse scene….that was a whole other level of hot! I needed a goddamned cold shower after!
Kay - you have written a fantastic series, one that I wish I could start again from the beginning! You smashed it out do the park!!
I can’t wait wait for more from you!!!

Oh whoa!!! What a riiiiiide!! I love Vee!! She has grown so much from book one and she has stepped up and taken back everything that belongs to her, her way. I love that she stands up to anyone and stands in what she believes in, no matter what.
Kyro... oh man, he is definitely one of my favorite book boyfriends. He is possessive, but not overwhelming. Him and Vanessa are 🔥🔥🔥
If you have read this one from the beginning, you know that there are so, so many secrets and twists and all around mystery surrounding Vee. This one wraps everything up and exposes even more than what I thought was going on in Suncrest.
If you love gang romances with a side of mystery and spice, read this one! Vanessa and Kyro's trilogy is complete, and I am sad to see them go, but I absolutely cannot wait to see what else Kay is going to put out!

I’m sad that Vanessa and Ky’s story is coming to an end, but it was a fun, wild ride while it lasted. Ruthless Enemies is chalk full of twist and turns. Nothing is ever as it seems in Suncrest Bay. Luckily, we finally get all the answer to those burning questions from the previous books!
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
There are so many twists in the final pages of Vanessa and Ky’s story. My theories were throughly debunked. I really enjoyed watching Vanessa learn to embrace her new normal. Bowing down to men was never in the cards for her. Ky continued to prove time and time again that he would do anything for Vanessa. He’s quickly joined the ranks of favorite book boyfriends.
Overall, I was pleased with the closure Ruthless Enemies provided. I am happy that Vanessa was able to get everything she wanted - even if she had to endure a lot of pain and heartbreak in the process.

This book had so many twists and turns and things that I didn't see coming! Kay really took us on one wild ride with this book, and I absolutely loved it!
The spicy scenes, oh my, I loved Ky and Vee; they were always hot when they were together, but the group scene!! That was definitely unexpected, but I loved it; that was so hot!!
Ruthless enemies tied up all the loose ends and the secrets that needed to be answered.
The ending was perfect, and trust me if anyone deserves a happy ending, it's them!

I hate that its over, but this was an EPIC ending!!
Ruthless Enemies is the 3rd and final book in the Suncrest Bay series.
From the very 1st page, there are do many things happening, and it will keep you on the edge of your seat. The plot twists and the secrets that get revealed will blow every single theory you have away. Its just non stop action, drama and revenge.
I adore Vee. Her strength is amazing and I loved watching her growth, she grew so much by the end of the series and i am here for it.
Kyro and his absolute belief and confidence in Vee had me swooning. That man is seriously amazing, and I love him.
This was an AMAZING book, the perfect ending for some of my favorite characters. I love all 3 books in this series and I cant wait to see what Kay has coming next!!

I could not have asked for a better ending to this epic story. I feel like I grew with Vanessa as she found her inner strength and took on the world. She really finds herself completely in this part of the story and being able to read through the passages as she straightens her spine and takes the rightful steps was truly moving. After the freaking doosey of a cliffhanger in book two, I promise you things will get better, Ky does not give up easily that is for sure. The details of this whole story have really come together in such an amazing conclusion I am not having as tough of a time letting go. Though I will seriously miss the antics of Zak and the spicy times of Ky and Vanessa, and sometimes Ryker. I feel so happy for them all too.

I am soooo sad to see these characters go but I am so happy Vee got her HEA that she deserves. She has been through he!! And back multiple times and she survived! I would have to say out of this series this is by far my favorite Vee and Ky seriously go balls out in this one. There are still so many twists and things that lie in the dark and just when you think you figured it out NOPE this author hits you with something new. The love that these two have for one another is unmatched. Their fierce protectiveness over one another at the expense of themselves. They have that love that hits soul deep! Phenomenal Conclusion!!!

This series literally has you trusting nobody. Just when you think you know what’s going on- BAM! No you don’t! Oh my what a crazy twisted and satisfying conclusion to Ky and Vee’s story!!! I fell in love with this story from book 1 and I am tremendously sad it is over but I do look forward to Ryker and Zak’s story when that time comes!! I can’t properly put into words how great this book was without spoiling it!! You just need to go and read this series!! Vee is a powerful h and Ky is her perfect match and supports her in every way!! I love how much he loves her and what he is willing to do for her and vice versa.

Amazing!! One of the best series I’ve ever read!
I was on the edge of my seat reading all 3 books in this series and the last one did not disappoint. Kay definitely knows how to write spice too- each book getting better than the last. Wow, what an ending!
This one blew me away. So much happens, and we finally get answers to all of our questions. Vee is a force to be reckoned with. She grows into her strength and power even more in this book, and the support she gets from Ky and the guys along the way is just swoon-worthy. They all have her back no matter what, and I just love that.
There is some incredible spice in this one! If you thought the spice was hot in the previous books…just you wait 🥵

Can we just say that this series ended with a bang? With every twist and turn within this world that Riley has created for us, I lived for this final installment and I could not get enough. It is fast paced without rushing to the end. It is intense with so much passion. I am loving that Riley gave us such a fierce leading lady such as Vanessa who is tough as nails but has such a soft side to her. The side that cares so much. Add Kyro and these two are perfection. I am beyond sad to see this series end but what a ride it was. The level of depth, build and twists was just absolutely everything and demands to be read. Hands down, binge this series now!

It all comes together in a hell raising way!!
What a aweome conclusion to the series. I feel like the author reversed the charcters roles in this one, and it was great to see. We see Vee in a vulnerable place, not so strong after more secrets are revealed to her, while Ky does everything he can to protect her, to keep life in her. While doing that we see them learn to trust, to, love and find each other, one way or another. There was never a dull moment, in this series. You won't regret reading this!!

I am absolutely devastated this series has come to an end!!!
But in all honesty, this series is one of my favorites! You never see the twists coming, the characters are amazing, and you never know what’s gonna happen next!
Vanessa is one of my favorites FMC, she’s strong, sassy and all around could kick your ass if you piss we off. And Kyro… swoon. I love him. That’s it.
See this whole story line play out with who Vanessa is and who her family was/is was such fun thing to read!
Definitely a 5/5 on this whole series.

I was shocked with how book 2 ended, so I knew this was going to be amazing.
Even more secrets were revealed in this book than the last.
Vanessa will forever be a fierce badass woman you should never underestimate.
Kyro will destroy anyone who goes near Vee, even if she can handle her own.
The 2 of them together can take over the world.
With all of the groups closing in, secrets are revealed, allies are made...
And blood will be shed

I’m wondering sometimes if authors get together and reach each others books and just copy and paste all the time because of how predictable every plot twist is.
Of course, she’s connected to a mafia. Of course, she’s powerful than most—but oh! She gets kidnapped every other chapter! Soooo maybe not that powerful if they get the jump on you time to time?
Let’s not forget how they just went from “you kept this from me, I can’t trust you” to “I trust you, I love you, kiss me.”
And still, I read this the whole night where its already morning. Was this worth it? Nope. N to the O.

I really enjoyed this series! I got the first book as a suprise blind date with a book and loved it! The first book was so quick paced and had me wanting more! The second and third felt a little dragged out and IMO could have been condensed into one but I still enjoyed the read the whole time! The only reason I didn’t rank a bit higher was because I was sick of the back and fourth with Vanessa. She was a bit annoying to me 🙈 but I did love her and Kyro as a whole!
I think overall the series was entertaining and I would read it again!

Well holy hell this was a whirlwind of action,revenge and damn right out nastiness.
Poor Vanessa I literally feel for the girl,her whole life has been one big cluster f**k had a great childhood until some ruthless a#:+*# took away her parents and since then she's been running fighting and praying for a reprieve only to be thrust into one drama after another.

Just finished !! I’m a little sad that the story has ended!! You can tell how much work was taken to make sure it ended without anything lingering like a few other series I’ve read recently! I really enjoyed how much it showed that accepting your darkness and love at the same time can still have a happy ending !!! I also love that Ky & Vee relationship was never put in a box, they went were life took them!! Thank you for writing a beautifully unique love story!!

I have loved Vanessa and Ky’s story from the start. But this might be my favorite book of the series. Just when you think you might have it figured out you learn something new.

I love this book more than anything and I'm sad it has come to an end. The steamy connections, the pantry dripping scenes that you can't help but put yourself into these situations and live in your own mind. As an author Kay uses the best wording and imagery I haver ever read to bring a book alive. I don't want to give spoilers so I'm not talking about the book this time in terms of characters but I must say to read on.

Ya'll I didn't think iw as going to be ready for the end of this series, but I am so glad that it wrapped up the way it did. The spice was great, fun and flexible which we FUCKING LOVE. Nothing dragged out, which I find often happens with final books, but wrapped up neatly. You didn't even realize how much you had eaten up until you were almost done!
I cannot wait to see what else Kay Riley has in store for us in the future!
