When I was a child I wanted two things. To Write a Novel and to be Wonder Woman and save the world.

Somewhere past 40, I realized the tights were never going to fit, and the only flying I was ever going to do was in a plane.

So instead, I write my Strong and Sassy Heroes/Heroines into the novels I pen…

I build doorways into contemporary worlds filled with magic, that allow all of us to be a hero to our own fantastical imaginations.

To me, every character is real. I walk alongside them as they discover that fear is the flip side of courage, that survival may just be a badge of honor, and that our flaws are an opportunity to emerge stronger, and discover our own personal brand of superpowers—at any age.

This is an awesome book that conjures good against evil.
The sheriff is a bad seed but the villain is worse.
I borrowed this book from Kindle Unlimited. This in no way affects my opinion of this book which I read and reviewed voluntarily.

The latest installment of the Snips and Snails Café is a new adventure with Juli, Jack and the gang. With each book we get to know the characters better. And watching everyone's interactions is fun. Using a touch of magic to solve both bank robberies and murder Juli's antics are a joy to be a part of. New friends are found and I hope they become a regular part of the gang. And with the ending, you just know there are more adventures coming.

magical witches and talking cats!

What could be better? These books are well written with amazing detail, taking you into the magical community of Veil Falls and the mysteries there. The characters are real with human faults as well as some magical powers. This is the 6th in the series and I am eagerly awaiting the 7th.

What's in That Soup?

Who is the tagger? Why is he targeting Deputy Jerry? What? There's a body in the orchard? Black magic is suddenly swirling in the light magic of Veil Falls? The Soup Witch and her friends and family have a lot of detecting to do. Love this series! Great characters, difficult mysteries to solve, but a HFN guaranteed until the next book. Can't wait.

A twisted tale

Between the bowls of soup offered by Juli's cafe, there lurks a dark cloud of destruction. It takes the entire family's skill to outwit the evil . Don't read this late at night, if you want to sleep.

In this last of the series so far, there has been a bank robbery and also there seems to be dark magic. Juli as well as her friends and family are worried. This is an enjoyable series and I'm glad that there will be another one available in a few months.

Fun series to read, and this book 6 is no exception. Great interactions between the regular characters, and we are introduced to some new endearing characters, and some not so endearing characters.

A fine tale

The magic is becoming stronger and more important to the progression of the plot. A magical, talking cat is a bonus. A good read.

Crooked Tree Farms, dark magic, and a bank robbery to solve. Juli, Jack, Grans, and Grams are on the case. Dead bodies, deadly spiders, and an old mystery.
