Everly Dupree's to-do list just got longer: clear her best friend's name, solve two murders, and send two ghosts into the light. All before happy hour.
When Patrea Evergreen is arrested for murder, Everly leaps into action—as if being haunted by psychic Davina Benet's uncooperative ghost wasn't irritating enough. With zero suspects and even fewer clues, Everly hits a wall until town gossip Jober Peavey starts spreading the most ridiculous rumors Mooselick River has ever heard.
But someone thought Jober should keep his mouth permanently shut—and now there's another body on the ground.
As Everly digs deeper, she unravels a tangled web of secrets that reaches into the heart of her sleepy town. With Patrea's freedom hanging in the balance and two chatty ghosts demanding justice, Everly finds herself racing against a ticking clock.
The closer she gets to the truth, the more dangerous her investigation becomes. Now she must decide how far she's willing to go—because when the dead won't talk, sometimes the most dangerous thing in town isn't the ghost haunting you—it's the truth.

Haunting Season: A Ghost Cozy Mystery is book #8 in the Haunted Everly After series by ReGina Welling.
Everly’s friend Patrea is arrested for murder, so Everly needs to help her friend and herself by solving the mystery and getting the victim’s ghost to cross over.
I really enjoyed this book. Everly and her friends and family are likable characters. Some know she can see ghosts and others don’t which makes it challenging for Everly. There are a lot of twists and false leads when you have a victim that pretty much the whole town hates. Trying to keep her secret and dealing with temperamental ghosts ad a nice dose of humor. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
I received this book as a gift and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Another mystical book. When Patrea is arrested for murder, Everly begins her investigation with the help of the murdered ghost. When more murders happen, Everly is even more determined to find the answers. Can she solve the murders before more people die? Will she stay safe while investigating? *I received this book for free for my unbiased review.
I read these books back to back, and am looking forward to book 9. The characters are believable and it is fun getting to know them and watching them solve each murder. The ghosts are believable too, and how Everly handles them is fun to watch. Am really looking forward to the next book in the series!
Everly and the gang help Patrea get out of jail for a murder she didn't do. Now not only is Davina still hanging around while her murder is try to be solved, there is another ghost that needs to go into the light. But he has big problems. Find out what Everly does. A great story on to the next book.
Haunting Season:A Ghost Cozy Mystery series Haunted Every After book 8
This is book 8 and I have loved every one of them. I highly recommend all her books and different series. She has a good cast of characters in her books. Lots of good and bad ghosts. I hope you love her books as I do. Diana Romano
And so the series continues. Everly and Drew inch closer in their relationship. Jacey and Brian are trying. Patrea and Chris are enjoying married life. Neena and David get friendly. The ghosts keep coming. And everyone helps to solve the murders. The clues are elusive and red herrings pop up. Never fear, Everly will put it all together. Enjoy!
The series continues to improve and the characters really grow and change with each subsequent book. Again, the author leaves you hanging a bit and the murders are not solved in this one - pushing to the next book. Plenty of changes for the girl-group friendship that I really hope gets worked through soon.
Good stories, light hearted, no descriptive sex (hinted at or slightly implied). So much better than pages of detailed stuff. At last she gives the car to Dad. Needs some editing, some disjointed mentions or lack of mention of characters or happening, like the authors are not writing together but separately.
Every blows me away with her strength and ability to deeply love her family and friends! I'm hoping the next book will come soon! J want know who killed Davina!
Patrea gets wrongfully arrested and Everly will do anything to clear her friend’s name! What a great case, I loved the twists and turns. I have loved this series from the start, and each book seems to be getting better! It’s really good and I highly recommend it!
I enjoy everything about this series--the writing, the characters and the mysteries. Every book leads you to the next one. I am going to heartbroken when I read this next book and there aren't any more after it. Recommend reading both this book and the series.
Everly is still searching for the psychic's murderer, A handyman gets murdered and then, while there are multiple twists and turns to the plot at the very end the handyman's murdered reveals himself but there's still the issue of who killed the psychic. Great read.
This time a really unpleasant man was murdered, and his ghost is exacting very weird. Plus the psychic ghost is annoying, even mulishly childish with her pranks. Still no resolution to one of the murders.
Everything about this series is great and keeps me reading until the last page is turned and we find out who done it! I try to guess but don't always figure it out before Everlly and that makes it more fun!
Lots of secrets revealed in this book. Some are handling the truth just fine, while others are not. The 2 part story, just turned into a 3 part, with one ghost down, and one to go. But who killed Davina?
Love the series, but waiting another year for book 9 is crazy because I had already forgot half the characters when I read book 8. Took me a while to remember this storyline. Enjoyed the read though.
All around fun series for cozy fans. My only complaint is the incessant pronatalism. A warning for those who are child free not by choice or child free by circumstance.
