Life is hard.
After learning about how Theo treated Thomas, it was hard to look at Theo the same way. I feel like Thomas really isn't over the past and has lots to work, though. I totally understand why he's angry. I also think he needs to try and Theo a chance. Everyone was young when it happened and is still young. People can change, and we need to give them a chance.
I love the twist of what Clementine does as a supplemental job and how she is with Ward. The guy her brother loathes. So far, I like where it's going. I hope she realizes she needs to be with him and move to England. She doesn't seem to be close with anyone in the book. Not even her own brother.
Silke... this one kinda sucks. Her relationship with Pike seems wonderful. I just feel like her parents and want her to be happy, but also be with Arsen. Pike is a one in a million. The kind of guy I would love to find.
Arsens journey just makes me more proud of the character and how things in life can end up well, even though this story isn't real. I really love this character. Nothing to something is my favorite. Millionaires aren't much fun when they don't have to work for it.
Yey for Cayson and Skye. I guess. I'm still pissed Cayson left his dream school to go back home to not want Skye and then give into being with her.. He is just dumb. Super freaking sweet, but dumb.
Skye is just a spoiled brat, and I hope she realizes how great she really has it. Plus, she has an amazing coworker, Ward.
I love this character. Not much needs to be said. He deserves to be happy.
Conrad... I could give or take him in the beginning. Now I think he's a fine young man who matured in trying for a relationship. Then, to be in it and keep working so hard just to be treated like shit makes me sad.
Beatrice is a very annoying character. I'm glad Theo was able to slap sense into her before. Now, she is just as selfish as Trinity. I'm not sure who I despise more... Beatrice or Trinity. I think she deserved hasher words than Conrad spoke.
Trinity is a character I was never found of, and completely loathe. She needs to have some common sense kocked into her. She is being a selfish brat. I'm glad she got the harsh words of Slade saying he would sufk it up and marry her. He'll just Dela with it. She didn't want to hear that, but she pushed him to an ultimatum. What does one expect? She is to blame for this breakup! NOT Slade because he won't marry her right now.
Slade, such a jackass! But my how he has come a long way. He's the almost perfect but not perfect bf. I have come to like this ass like Trinity did.
Roland! Whoa!!! Plot twist! I don't even have words. I would like Heath to not be very pushy. If Roland finds he likes both sexes, that's okay, and Heath should except that. And if Rolans finds he prefers just men, then great. But Heath needs to let him explore and not take it hard.

I cannot put into words how glued I am to these books. I'm happy I'm reading then after they have all been released, otherwise I would be going crazy waiting for the next book.
There are some plots that have been reused throughout the book, but Todd keeps it interesting by making the characters reactions so different. And all the characters are relate able in such a different way. I also love the face that she's starting to introduce such hard topics in these next books; such as: Arsen and his daughter, Ryan paying it forward. Silk moving on, Slades commitment issues, Trinity strenght. And that's only naming a few.
I don't think ill be able to put these books down. And its been a !ong time since I've been this hooked!

Characters you know and love
I got to know the characters in the first boxed set. I met more in this set and they all became my friends. I felt like I knew them so well I must be another cousin. Like real life they all have moments of great joy and utter devastation. E.L. Todd takes you in a journey through their lives and romances all at the same time, not one set of characters per book. It is more realistic with couples falling in love, breaking up, moving on against grief for the lost relationship. I couldn’t put it down. I felt so many of the emotions, even the surprising ones.

Riveting story lines
There are very riveting storyline and fleshed out characters.
I do dislike the way the author constantly writes about the men crossing their ankle across the opposite knee. It is used every time a man sits down in a chair. The man can't possibly put his ankle on the same knee. There must be another way to describe it or not mention the placement of his ankle at all.

Rollercoaster of emotions!!
First....Skye is annoying lol. The word "blurted" is used way too much & the guys all rub the back of their necks when they're uncomfortable.
That being said...I love this story! This set moves slightly away from the main characters. It's opening up this world of characters that have been in the background. I still like that each chapter is written from a different person's point of view. I don't want to give anything away. The story is great.

Page Turner
Couldn't put this series down read the first two series in 4 days. I can't wait to see how the story plays out. I've gone through every emotion reading this book. Anger. Sadness. Even laughter at times for his faults Slade makes me laugh. I've got say I'm routing for Arsen tho.

Best friends forever...
This is a great series of books. I love that it's centered around all of the characters in the first series. Just like an ongoing television show. It's so much like things that actually happen in real life. I can't wait to start on the next box set because I'm anxious to find out what happens next.

great series
E L Todd has done an amazing job of bringing multiple people from different walks of life together to be called family. This truly is a series about who you choose to be family doesn’t necessarily have to be blood. It brings passion, love, tragedy, heart break and discovering of one’s inner self together. Amazing writer!

Great stories
I enjoyed the stories but would have preferred the books to have been more focused on one story at a time instead of jumping to little pieces of a bunch of different stories.

Un-putdownable!
I read the 1st box set and couldn’t wait for the next one. Now I’ve read books 1 and 2 I’m really looking forward to reading book 3. The stories are so well interwoven with so many interesting characters and situations that you never know what’s coming.

Wow! the story of slade is the best so far . Running second is Roland. Some of the others get on your last nerve, lol this writer repeats the same words and phrases with each character so I tend to skim. But I love the stories

like a soap opera in a book
