ഇതു വായിച്ചപ്പോൾ കൊടകരയാണ് എനിക്ക് ഓർമ്മ വന്നത്. കൊടകരപുരാണം പോലെ വാരനാട് എന്ന നാടിന്റെ പുരാണമാണ് ഇവിടെ പറയുന്നത്. നാട്ടിൻപുറത്തിന്റെ നൈർമല്യവും നാട്ടുകാരുടെ നിഷ്കളങ്കതയും നർമ്മത്തിന്റെ മേമ്പൊടിയോടെ വളരെ ഹൃദ്യമായി ആവിഷ്കരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. ഒരല്പം പോലും മടുപ്പ് തോന്നാതെ രസകരമായി വായിച്ചു രസിക്കാൻ പറ്റിയ പുസ്തകം.
