The Heroes and Villains saga comes to its explosive finale with the sixth book in this scorching hot organized crime romance series that brings your superhero fantasies to life…
The Villain Queen
The Her worst enemy . . . and the only one who can save her
I spent centuries trying to both avenge my home and stop the destroyer Niberu from wreaking his chaos on other planets.
But I have failed.
And now, Niberu is on Earth.
I will need all my allies to combat him. My closest confidante and her Watcher; my winged fighter and his new wife; my ex-Hero and his two lovers; my child and her Steel Soldier; Niberu’s turncoat daughter and the new CEO of Heroes Org; my brother and his scientist with her monster.
There is one other I know would bolster our ranks. One who sits in my own dungeon for crimes unatoned.
Letting him out may save this planet . . . but it would destroy my heart.

I want to be happier with this finale. This book is from the perspective of Persephone, or Hela as she is known on Asgard, Goddess of Death and leader of the Villains on Elysium where now much of Heroes Org has defected too. She has been monitoring Niberu, the destroyer of Asgard, from her island with her team, but now he's looking to attack, Persephone has started to find herself getting weaker and weaker. She needs more power, and the only way she is going to get it is from her ex, her daughter's father and her current prisoner, Malcolm Odyessy. I wanted there to be more action in this book, potentially more focused on Niberu's attack than the romance side of things, which I didn't feel were very romantic and were actually kind of predictable. I knew they'd end up together. I knew all would be forgiven. No one vital dies, there's no major angst. Overall, it was a fine conclusion but it just didn't hit the spot.
This series started off fun and then about half way through it started to drag. Especially with the last two books. This sucked since the Asgardians are some of the coolest Marvel characters. Goddess focuses on Persephone (Hela), and it was disappointing. I'm not sure who Malcolm was supposed to be of if it's a completely new character but he was so annoying. I also don't understand why Gwen just never seemed to be relevant again, despite being so powerful when she was introduced. I thought I was going to read through this series quickly because the stories are so short, but they kind of put me off about half way through.
This was honestly a really good end to this series. I stand by that the previous book Thunder felt like a little bit of filler, like we were kind of rushing to the end, but this was good. There were still some parts that I had issue with, but overall I really liked it. I didn't think I was going to like this pairing just because Malcolm sucks in the beginning, and he still kind of sucks, but you get to see his motivations here and it really humanizes him.
I know this arc is finished but I kind of hope there are more stories in this universe.
I appreciate the resolution of Niberu coming to earth and the impending doom reaching earth; however, Persephone’s powers and needing to be “full” in preparation for battle are just strange. I mean I get that it’s smut but you’re just gonna drop everything to go have an orgy led by your ex-husband before a life-threatening, possibly end of the world indicating battle?
Otherwise, I appreciate the book as a resolution to the series.
Quick read. I think I was not as invested in this series as I was when I initially read the first book. It was an easy read, the spice was okay but explicit. I'm glad to have seen to the end of the plot, I was wondering how they would have defeated Niberu.
This final book in the series had some of the best smut out of the books. I did, however, think it wasn't a good ending to the series. This book was basically all smut and had no plot. But the cute little romance was on point too.
Okay that ending was perfection. This was my favourite of the series and I adored it. Also recommend the additional Nemesis short story Fly With Us which doesn't have to be read at the end, just after Nemesis. Spice levels are phenomenal.
