Unfortunately I was not in the mood for this kind of read, where the heroine wanted the hero’s punishment so badly… 🤷🏻♀️ dnf @ 34%

Reborn King is a dark mafia romance filled with lots of angst , intrigue , great storyline and plot as well as amazing characters! They say revenge is a dish best served cold in this case it’s red hot.
Albert has been imprisoned unjustly and after assuming a new identity as Vince King sets out to exact his revenge! Emma is used as a pawn in her father’s illegal schemes and played a part in Albert being sent to prison. Vince makes a deal with the devil and Emma is the prize although he plans to make her suffer.
Reborn King is a page turner one I couldn’t put down and the chemistry of Emma and Vince just sizzles !
Great book highly recommend it !!

after reading I'm not sure if Emma deserves a second chance.

She destroyed not only Albert's life but also his family. To me, her guilt was too much to forgive. Albert is a good person. He loves Emma very much. but she betrayed him Although she tried to atone for her sins by sending money to Albert's brother. But I think it's incomparable with what Albert has lost. I was very sad when Vince said that Albert was attacked in prison.
I was a bit confused when Emma said that. She was glad to leave Hunter. live with Vince but before when she was taken away She was also angry that Hunter didn't help her. I'm not sure if Emma is happy or not.
I'm disappointed with Albert. I know he loves Emma very much. When Emma confesses He believed with all his heart until he told the truth.

Even though the ending was HEA, I had some doubts. to protect sister Emma betrays Albert. destroy him and his family Although she loved Albert very much. but if in the future She had to choose between her sister and him. How can I be sure that Emma won't hurt and betray Albert again and choose her sister?
Anyways, I'm giving it 3 stars. This is a good , but for me it's a bit of a contradiction. But it didn't bother much.

Like all of Faye Pierce's other books, this one gets you hooked right away and it doesn't stop until you have finished the book. Reborn King is a dark mafia romance filled with a lot angst, passion and betrayals, intrigue, an amazing storyline, and the chemistry between the two characters-wow. Revenge has never been hotter 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Albert was betrayed by his closest friends and the women he loved, he was sent to prison for something he never did. 10 years later Albert is dead and he now goes by Vince and with a little bit of plastic surgery his plans for revenge have begun. He will bring down and destroy the people that betrayed him but Emma will receive the harshest punishment of all, she will be his prisoner and he will teach her a lesson she will never forget. This is a dark story but our two main characters do work through the past betrayals and come out with a happy ending. With every book Faye Pierce writes you always want more, I highly recommend reading.

This is a real page turner of a story from Faye Pierce, she has made the characters real.
Albert's plan was coming together, he will humiliate and then destroy the family that plotted his downfall, letting him die in prison.................. until he became Vince.
Emma had been the love of his life but she had testified against him, that was the biggest betrayal of all and he would make her suffer as he had suffered.
Vince was now successful, he was wealthy and had lots of lucrative mafia contacts, Emma's father had no scruples, his religion was money and he had no qualms in selling his daughter to Vince for a price, she would be kept in a cage as he had been caged and she would wear a collar around her neck, she would be at his mercy.
This action packed story is full of passion, betrayal and abuse, it is dark and disturbing and it is one that I couldn't put down, it is the first book that I have read by this author but hopefully it wont be the last.

Wow what a page turner, you are hooked from the start, I think this is my favourite book so far by this author, it had twists and turns that i didnt see coming., great characters and storyline.
Albert went to prison after being betrayed by the woman he loved, and he didn't know why. Now Albert is dead or so everyone thinks, and enter Vince King.
Vince is out for revenge on Emma and her family for what they did to him, he wants to destroy them and have her as his slave, keep her in a cage and ruin her too.
When Vince goes to Cyril to form an alliance he had one extra condition, he wanted him to sell his daughter Emma to him, as greedy as Cyril was he agreed without batting an eye lid.
Vince and Eric forge their plan to make it happen, read how it twist and turns and how it all ends, you wont be disappointed.

Reborn King
What a fantastic read!!! This book is full of so much hurt, hatred, betrayal and pain but also guilt, remorse and self loathing. You can really feel what the characters are feeling and totally get caught up in everything that happens.
Emma and Vince are a great couple and I am really glad they had the chance to work through all the pain and betrayal they both had to endure.
This book is definitely worth a read lots of plot twists that really keeps the book exciting.

Again I am in awe of the way Faye Pierce builds characters and connections!
Destructive Desires: Reborn King I was PHENOMENAL!! I spent half the time hoping Emma would figure it out and the rest hoping Vince would just come clean about his past and then HE DID 🥹🥹 watching them come together after everything that happened and work to take down her dad was beautiful.
The spice was 🔥🔥🔥 and I don’t think a color has ever sounded so good lol I can’t wait to see what comes next!

Dark and Steamy Romance. There were a lot of twist that the author was able to write in a way that flowed with the story. It certainly was not predictable. I was so stressed out reading this story of revenge. Along with the stress there were tears.

OMG. Vince is debatably my new favorite. And his love with Emma, that rollercoaster is insane.
There are twists, turns, trigger, and SPICE.
This is an amazing story and most definitely worth the read.
Faye Pierce never disappoints me!

A mafia romance full of betrayal, redemption, love, passion, and revenge. Vince and Emma each have to overcome their own demons and trust in each other to be able to move forward, but after everything they’ve done to each other, either of their own accord or through outside manipulation, neither of them is sure they can get past it. Plenty of twists and turns, emotional revelations, and lots of spice!
