King's Ranch #1

Claiming Blake

Rate this book
I won't break my rule for one cowboy -- but I just might -- for two . . .

Blake:
Work -- Work -- Work!
Those are the only words I know as I live job-to-job . . .
Landing a five-month contract is refreshing, as I will able to stay in one place for a lot longer a week!
And the perks are amazing -- two hot cowboys . . . Except I have one rule -- no fraternizing on the job.

Gavin and Travis:
After suffering heartache, we've decided that sharing a woman is the way to go -- and working at King’s Ranch -- our way of thinking isn’t out of the ordinary.
All we need to do is find the one to complete us -- and she just happened to make her way onto King’s Ranch to help one of the horses!
Only issues are -- she’s only here for five months -- and -- she has walls that are proving difficult to scale . . .

If you love the idea of getting cuddled between two sexy cowboys, curl up with "Claiming Blake" tonight!

Please note, this series is intended for 18+ readers as it has sexually explicit content (reverse harem/ménage/MFM). No cheating, no cliff-hangers, and a happily ever after are all guaranteed!

It was ok. Pretty cliche. Of course I shouldn't be surprised, the cover says it all. Lol

This was such a great romance. Blake is one strong woman, and I love that she is so independent and able to do things. And when Travis and Gavin fall for her, I kept hoping that they can convince her to be theirs. The chemistry between them was sizzling hot and steamy, and I loved how their relationship worked. I think what really impressed me was their sense of “family” amongst Gavin and Travis’ co-workers, friends and bosses. I thought story was well written, and the characters were well developed, make this an enjoyable novel!

Absolutely loved this first story in the King’s Ranch series!! I recommend you read the Prequel , Tempting Jessie, as it sets the science and characters up well, but it is not necessary to enjoy this book!
On the King’s Ranch the people are all a big “family” it is a wonderful place, the writing of the book is so good you feel you are there and know all the characters, not just the main ones!
Gavin and Travis grew up together and when finding the family at King’s and seeing triad relationships that were “normal” there they decided that was for them, they just needed to find the one! Blake was an expert horse trainer who came to the ranch to work with a difficult horse. For Gavin and Travis it was love at first sight, Blake was their one, they just needed to convince her. Blake was drawn to both of them immediately but was guarded and felt everything in her life was temporary so she didn’t want to get hurt.
This was a beautiful story of love, trust and romance. Helping each other through insecurities and emotional issues to a beautiful HEA. It was sweet and romantic and hot and steamy. Can’t wait for more in this series

Also wer Reverse Harem mag ist hier genau richtig.

This is a great beginning book to what I know will be an amazing series. I read a prequel to this book so it helped set the scene but is by no means necessary to start the series.

My favourite part about this book was the detail that went into the story, finding out about the horses and the farm life made me feel like I was right there. Then add the dynamics of the characters, that grew on you and not just the main ones, I’m talking all of the characters. I can’t wait to read about the next characters and their quest for love.

Travis and Gavin are drop dead gorgeous or they are in my head anyway, they are sweet and caring and when they find the one….devoted.

Blake, she is was one strong, determined and sexy woman. Who does not usually mix business with pleasure. She never stays in one place long enough to make new friends and is not a one night stand kinda girl.

But mix these 3 together and you get sparks and all sorts of chemistry. And enough heat to steam up your kindle.

I received this as a complimentary copy and I’m giving my honest review voluntarily

This is the first book in the King's Ranch series and is Blake, Travis and Gavin's story. The author has a prequel novella you can get for free when you sign up for their newsletter. The prequel is Jessie's story and how the King's Ranch came to be, Jessie is Travis and Gavin’s best friend. It's not necessary to read the prequel to enjoy this book but its a steamy, entertaining read. Holy smoking hotness this was one hot book! Blake is at King's Ranch to work with a troubled horse. Gavin and Travis work on King's Ranch. They've been best friends since they were little and realized the rightness of sharing a woman. They’ve been waiting for the right one and know Blake is perfect for them. Can they convince her to stay? Be prepared for some seriously hot times between the trio. These alpha males know what they want and aren't afraid to go for it. I can't wait for the next book to be released.

Great writing by this author, just wish she had a better editor, beta and ARC readers to catch the typos, errors and inconsistencies.

The characters were well defined, the story line was interesting, and I was pulled in quickly.

Besides all the typos, my biggest issue with this book was the disjointed, inconsistent time line. In the beginning Blake is going to be on the ranch for four to five months. Over the next chapters it mentions she has a few months, then a month, then four months.
Plus the timeline with Gavin and his ex Laurie was really messed up. They were supposedly together 8 years, (clearly said they broke up 2 years after graduation, two years into college), meaning they were a couple since 6th grade? Several chapters later it said Gavin and Laurie had been together 10 years, so since 4th grade?
She (Blake) spent the last decade on her own, yet it was only 7 years since she left the Olympics and went out on her own.

Picked this one up as an end of year-easy-but-different-brain-cleanser read. I don't have any issue (and actively support) erotic romances, but they still need to have a decent plot and developed characters, and, for my own personal tastes, banter. Though as long as there are two of the three I'm happy.

This book was so cliché and cheesy. There was absolutely no plot outside of the sex. I can't even call it a romance because it was just pure sex without any events that could have developed a romantic element to and of the relationships. For example, I thought when Travis went away for three days, we would see how Blake interacts with Gavin outside of the physical. There's even a bit where they're watching a film on the sofa together, but absolutely no page time given to any of it.

She seemed to favour Travis the whole way through but for seemingly no reason because we didn't spend any time with them building those relationships.

I just wanted something a bit steamy and different to get through to the new year, but this didn't hit the spot for me.

I really enjoyed this story about Blake, Gavin and Travis. I was lucky enough to read the prologue to get the behind story of Jessie and her men, which made it easy to understand the flow of the Kings Ranch storyline. I am new to reading this authors work and I am happy to say that I am a fan. I love how she introduces the characters in the story and how they all intermingle and they become a family. Blake is a strong woman who is independent but is ready to settle down even though she doesn’t know it. Gavin and Travis are best friends and I have always shared everything and now they are going to share their wife. Join this family and experience their trials and difficulties together. You won’t be disappointed.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. Gavin and Travis are both cowboys and best friends who work at Kings Ranch. They made a decision to find a woman they could share and build a life together with. Blake is excellent at working with horses but her job does have down sides. She has come to the ranch to work but Travis and Gavin both catch her eye. They have a lot of chemistry between them and things heat up. Blake never expected to fall for two men. She finds more than just a job and begins to rethink her rules. The men want Blake to follow her heart just like they have. A relationship of respect, friendship and love is in their future. I enjoyed the storyline and the characters. Looking forward to what comes next at Kings Ranch

Blake is a horse trainer that has been paid to go and help a horse at Kings Ranch. She meets Gavin the stable manager and Travis the cattle manager and right away she feels drawn to both of them. They are completely in awe of her. They have been looking for a woman to complete them as they want to live the Cosland way like the owners of the ranch were raised. Blake is intrigued but has old wounds of being abandoned and tries to push them away. They will do anything including getting her to conquer trust demons to get her to stay with them. Things move along fairly quickly in the story and the three of them have super-hot chemistry. It was a very enjoyable read and you fall in love with all three of the immediately.
I was given this book as an ARC for my honest review.

Blake is a horse trainer who has been hired to help a horse at Kings Ranch. When she arrives she meets Gavin and Travis the stable and cattle managers and she feels a connection with the two of them she's drawn to them right away and they're captivated by her. They have been hoping that they would find a woman to complete them as they want to live like the owners of the ranch were raised. Even though she's drawn to them she's not looking to get involved with them due to previous bad experiences. Gavin and Travis are going to prove to Blake that they're the men for her. I'm looking forward to seeing who Blake's sister Grace is going to wind up with. I would recommend reading this steamy story.

★ “I was a sucker for dimples and cowboys.” ★

—>>> A girl has got to have rules, especially when it comes to her professional relationships. Blake Henderson’s home is wherever her work leads her as a horse trainer, slowly gaining in reputation, but when she meets Gavin and Travis at King’s Ranch. she never has been more tempted in her life. When she accomplishes her task of ironing out her client’s horse issues, though, will she really move on to her next job contract as her men fear or will they be able to convince her to stay…or at the very least that they love her. This story flowed really smoothly from beginning to end, with great characters and an intriguing and plentiful secondary cast of characters. Looking forward to reading more from this series!

Claiming Blake is the first installment in the King’s Ranch series penned by Daniele Hart. In it, she chronicles the polyamorous relationship of Blake Hendersen, Gavin Murphy, and Travis Williams. Gavin and Travis work at the King’s Ranch. Gavin manages the stable and Travis works with the cattle. Destiny brings them together when Blake, as a traveling horse trainer, accepts a job to work with one of the horses. There is a physical attraction between Gavin, Travis, and Blake. Blake has emotional scars from her life with her manipulative and dominating mother. Blake drops out of the Olympics when her horse got injured. Disappointed, her mother disowns her. Needless to say, Blake has trust issues. Will the feelings Blake has for her guys help her overcome her trust issues. You have to read this book to find out.

This is another delightful polyamorous romance among strong, multilayered lead characters. I enjoyed how the three lead characters grew as their story progressed. Ms. Hart creates outstanding dialog, both conversational and internal monologues. I enjoyed how her use of multiple POV adds to the plotline. Her command of descriptive language painted vivid scenes that were so realistic.

I went into this book almost expecting those ménage stories that don’t really have the best plot. However after reading the description and even a few reviews of it, I decided to give it a go. This book was really good even though the push and pull was almost painful, it’s part of what gets you to stay hooked. Their relationship was so sweet and I loved how much time her men put in to making sure they did things right and yeah they fucked up a little but redeemed themselves. Now that I’ve read it once and loved it, it will for sure be staying in my reread pile.

I really liked the relationship between Gavin and Travis, as well as the whole Ranch setup. And because of this I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. Blake was a bit whiny, but her growth and character development were shown well, and I really came to like her by the end of the book.

Gavin and Travis should probably have spoken to Blake before

Overall, an enjoyable read...

Fantastic menage

This was so good! Another in the series by Danielle Hart.
This was about Blake a horse trainer who started at Kings Ranch and fell for ranch foreman, Gavin and cattle rancher, Travis.
The three of them made for an impressive story about faith and love and doing what's right for yourself as well as others.
Well written with an intense tone but involving story. I very much enjoyed the book.

An enjoyable first book in this series King's Ranch. The author gives us characters that you get invested with. Their journey to their happy ending will keep you reading all the way through. The characters are likeable and have a great connection. This is a new author for me. I am looking forward to read more in this series.

This was ok. I didn’t love the FMC. She seemed kind of dense and neurotic. If she was supposed to be this super strong woman who takes what she wants, and she longs for stability, why didn’t she say “screw you two, I’m going to take the trainer job and you have to deal with it?” And the constant hot and cold didn’t do it for me, and the epilogue wasn’t really an epilogue which I didn’t like.

Loved this book

I couldn’t put this down once I started, such a fab book.

I loved Blake and her role on the ranch. I love how the guys knew instantly she was the one for them.

It was such a great read and I can’t wait to read the next in the series and hopefully see more of these characters.

Nope. My biggest problem is the heroine Blake. What an indecisive, selfish, whiny baby she is. Never read anyone who had their head up their ass like this one. Also, and never thought I'd say this, too much sex. Like that was the only answer to everything for these guys. I had to skip most of them for sheer lack of what seemed like only filler.

This is a well written Menage story with wonderful characters. This was a great read it does have some twists so take your time with this one. This one is worth your time. Please remember this is a Menage story so if that isn't something you like this one isn't for you. I think you will enjoy this one.

Learning to listen

Communication requires to not only hear, but to listen and to not assume others know how you feel. Gavin thought Blake was a man. Wrong. Gavin and Travis thought Blake knew how they felt about them. Blake knew what she wanted, yet she too needed to learn to listen. Steamy scenes, no cheating or cliffhanger and it ends on a happy note. Enjoy 🤓

Found myself a new author. Danielle Hart

This is a great story. A hardworking independent but lonely girl thinks its just another job. Instead she finds the home, family and love she has been longing for. If you like sexy sweet love stories this is a must read.
