What's It Gonna Be?
Marcus Wingate has struggled with his identity his entire life. Being kept a secret from his father’s side of the family and not being accepted by his father himself causes him to take less desirable roads to get his attention. After finally being accepted throughout the struggles and disagreements, Marcus still has some things he’s dealing with that he needs to get answers for. Listen Marcus & Synthia Coles …… a HEADACHE, okay!? However, once you got to the meat and potatoes you understood that what they had was beautiful chaos! I loved the story, it filled in so many questions from previous books.! Marcus and Synthia were for sure made for one another!! They both went through hell & back, but healed through finding each other.!
I’m super curious about this Nathaniel aka Kai character, I need answers 😂😂.!

A good read. I knew Marcus' story would be intense. And combine his story with Sin's story, and this tale was guaranteed to be fire...

MARCUS WINGATE HENDERSON
WOW!! Marcus is definitely Storm reincarnated. I almost forgot I was reading about his story, that's how much his non filtered mouth reminded me of Storm. Lol. Anyway, this book was really good. Marcus and Syn were right for each other. It may have seemed like a toxic relationship for them to even try but it worked because who else was there that could relate to the trauma they experienced. What I love about Syn was her acceptance of therapy and how it helped her be a better person. I also loved how Marcus took the time with Mr Henderson to get the closure he needed about his life growing up. Marcus and Syn doing therapy together was perfect and much needed. I'm glad they were able to move forward and commit to each other. Now what had me in shock was the Nathaniel "Kai" pop up. I had a feeling there was more to Nathaniel but the big reveal as being Kai had me speechless. Now Kai resurfacing brings up so many questions to his whereabouts and why all these years. Can't wait for what's next.

These two here, whew!
It's so much to say about these two that I don't even know where to begin. First of all they had my blood pressure up with the amount of toxicity between the two of them but they were perfect for each other once they got past their issues. This story showed the importance of getting help for your past traumas before beginning something with someone else. One thing that I loved about Marcus is no matter how savage he was, he was a good and consistent father. Someone finally got what they deserved and thank goodness. This book was good so you definitely should read it.

Toxic love.....
I do not know where to even start with this review, so much happened in this book. What I do know is, "one thing for certain and two things for sure," Mrs. Walters is easily establishing the G.O.A.T. title especially with these Hendersons. The Hendersons are still the most outspoken tight knit family and makes sure no one breaks the family circle.
My heart went out to both Syn and Marcus because of their upbringing. They both had plenty of reasons to be using their own method to heal. Their love was most definitely toxic, but they are the yin to the yang for each other. All of the lies Cici, Marcus mother, told it really deeply affected him. Of course it was his mother so why wouldn't he believe her. Syn's story started to unfold a few books back, but to read her truth shattered my heart. 💔 Avery really did a number on her, he messed with her mental more than anything. I was glad they both were able to finally seek therapy and actually use the process to restore their mental health.
This book wasn't short of the drama so Mrs. Walters had to throw in a few twists and turns. Mali was one of Marcus "baby mamas" and she is still the same ole' messy individual. I was really shocked at how she was raising Malia though, that really spoke to her character. Nathaniel "Kai" also made an appearance from the grave and he seems to be angry. I have my 🤞🏾 that his story get told, because it should be juicy. My view and perspective of Wesley Senior changed as well, once he shared his truth about trying to be in Marcus's upbringing.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is another masterpiece cultivated by no other than Mrs. Walters. I highly suggest you download, purchase a copy and just indulge. You will realize all the Hendersons have the same blood running through their veins including Kenny. It is also hilarious how Syn took over Marcus shine at the end. You will have to read to find out all the details, it's a page turner so get ready. As usual the plot and storyline is well written and executed.

Get Your Ice & Cigarettes Ready
I had to hold my Kindle with oven mitts on cause this book was 🔥❗❗
I loved Syn so much, and I especially love how she was written with so much honesty and strength. Despite her trauma, or maybe because of it, Synna was not for the play-play. 🏌😈 It was nice to see Marcus loving his children the way he should have been. I'm glad they both got what they needed to be made whole again.
There were so many gems dropped throughout Syn's therapy sessions, and so much care, compassion, and knowledge displayed regarding the complex trauma of childhood sexual abuse. Everyone reading this book should walk away with a better understanding and empathy towards children who have been sexualized and the behaviors that stem from it.
I would have liked for the adoptive parents to have shown even more accountability. Other than that, Marcus' addition to the series is overall in my top 3 along with Storm and Tiffany's stories, but not in any particular order. But as far as heat?! Baby Ms. Ma'am came out swinging with the freak-factor of these two. They both talked their ish and backed it up! I give this 5⭐ book 5🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥!!!

I wasn't sure how Monica Walters was going to bring to messed up people together but she did it and made me change my mind about my dislike for Marcus. He's just hurt, misunderstood, and got the bad end of his parents wrongdoing. Syn is just trying to get herself together after years of abuse. Reading about these 2 characters that use sex as a coping mechanism is something else. Monica Walters does not disappoint with this story and not to mention the shocker that's revealed within the pages got me sitting on the edge of my seat waiting on the next book to be released. You won't be disappointed with any of her writing..., forever a fan.

I love the Hendersons
This book had my emotions all over the place. I was crying, I was angry, I wanted to beat up Avery for what he did to Synthia. Marcus had so much pain from a lot of half truths. Glad they both ( Marcus and Synthia) got counseling. Glad I got to catch up with some of the other Hendersons, they are a crazy family but they always have each others back. This story touch on abuse, rape, grudges from childhood, sex addiction, child molestation, and so much more. Kudos to the author👏👏👏.

Good story
Marcus and Syn had been operating on their own terms, masking the pain, hurt, and trauma of their pasts. They both used sex as a coping mechanism, but trying to go from what they know to a relationship, they learn that old habits are hard to let go of and so easy to fall back on. Finding their way to healing and becoming whole individually paves the way for obtaining things that that desired and wanted. It is a good story and glad that Marcus got his closure with Wesley too.

And to see Syn grow into the healed her was everything I didn’t know I needed and to see Marcus come in and try like he just new she would lay down was cute he ain’t know he was messing with the big dawg 😂😭 I truly enjoyed this and to watch them fall in love and build something made my heart bust with joy and love for them cause they really needed one another

This was a very good story. I loved the characters. They were definitely kindred spirits and could give as good as they got. They were fire and ice definitely. I was glad to be able to be with the Henderson clan again and they have really welcomed Marcus into the fold. I’m very interested in Nathaniel’s story. I’m hoping he gets one. And whew, Kenny…it is the quiet ones that you have to watch out for!! Storm has the mouth but Kenny is bout that life!!!!

Confronting Your Past
This story was exceptionally powerful in more ways in one. Past traumas, if not confronted can cause havoc in your life. This story was written were, it took your breath away not knowing what was coming next.
I loved the way camaraderie amongst the siblings and their families and friend/family. The gatherings are to die for.
You're exceptional writing skills got me hooked as a fan forever. Magnificent Job!!!

It’s 2 a.m.
I was finishing another book and finally started this one. Here I am at 2 a.m. looking crazy because I had to finish this book. Our girl was through the wringer and her struggles brought tears to my eyes at times. He made me want to go upside his head, though! 🙄 As always, her characters come out stronger and better for the journey. I highly recommend the entire Henderson clan, and especially this new book! I’ve loved every story told.

Absolutely Amazing
Another book that was fye! Marcus and Synthia were one in the same. Although Syn had dealt with so much more in her past, she could still handle him. Going to see Serita was the best thing for her healing process. Marcus dealing with his past helped him move into hi future. Authentic and Raw!!
I loved everything about this one! I especially loved the authenticity and rawness of the story! The characters were relatable and although I haven’t experienced sexual abuse or the pain the characters endured, your pen skills made their pain feel so raw and real that I felt it! As always, the sex scenes were raw and unfiltered! Definitely 5 star worthy!!!! Please read! You won’t be disappointed!

Monica Walters has quickly become one of my favorite authors. I love the genuine feel of her characters and the real life situations. She never slacks on character development or steamy, gut-wrenching sex scenes. Syn and Marcus were perfect for each other and had me going through the motions. I laughed, wanted to cry, and had to go see my man about a horse👀 if you know, you know🤷🏽♀️ Another amazing read by the talented Monica Walters👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Funny Love
Yet another well written story about the Henderson’s. All the jokes and outbursts by Marcus and Syn and Storm helped level out all the serious parts of this story. These 3 are hilarious and I loved how the book discussed how Marcus and Syn acknowledged their trauma and made moves to heal from it both for themselves and each other.

A wild ride!!
Syn & Marcus...whew! The author did her thing with this book! These two were so toxic to the point I almost didn't even want them to work it out. Syn & Marcus...whew! The author did her thing with this book! These two were so toxic to the point I almost didn't even want them to work it out. Syn & Marcus
Ok ok I’m way way behind. I kinda knew it half way through this book but kept reading anyway. This story has like 7 books before hand. It was good and now I needs to go back. Then I’m so glad Ms Walters told about Nathaniel cause I’m like what in the world. So now I needs to read those as well before 2022!! But as for Marcus and Syn I loved them. I teared up often for the both of them but so glad they overcame!!!

OMGOODNESS! you know Monica is to much with this book. I really don't have a favorite because I love all of the Henderson's books. Syn and Marcus they were meant to be literally the same two people. As always it was an absolute pleasure reading this book 🥰.

She most definitely knows how to pull you in and take you for a ride. My emotions are all over the place. Sun ain’t nothing nice to play with. Marcus most definitely met his match and didn’t know what to do!That man there was toxic and BDE rolled into one. I loved how she threw that curveball in there and just walked away! 2022 about to be some ish sensational

These Henderson's
Girl, I could not put this book down. Just finished reading right at daylight savings!!! This story was like a roller coaster of emotions. I was happy, sad, pissed then elated again! These darn Henderson's are a mess but I love how in the end they were able to work it out both figuratively and literally!!

Bad Decisions and Shea Butter
Marcus and Syn are my new favorites. I'm sure Marcus smells like bad decisions and Shea Butter much like his brother WJ and I love me some Syn.

Awww man Monica can really write. I loved the book and I loved how I witnessed Syn’s battle and her fight towards her growth. Marcus whew chile, he just a freaky something but he found his way also. Great book !
