Wisdom in the Meow always makes me smile. I smile at the endearing illustrations of Wu Kitty and Finnegan and the light in their eyes. I smile at the wisdom that is simple enough for children to understand yet without talking “down to” adults. I smile at the knowledge that a portion of the profits goes to help animals in need.

Mindfulness groups and methods have become very popular in the past several years. Twelve step groups have suggested “one day at a time” for over 80 years. Wu Kitty and Finnegan how to walk that out now. Wouldn’t it be awesome if children could learn a little about it while they are still children and could start a lifestyle of it from a young age?

They – and we – can learn, as there is no time like now to live in the Meow. Wu Kitty and Finn are happy to show us simple activities and attitudes that bring joy and gratitude, especially when we really listen to and genuinely care about each other. We can learn positive self-talk, which can result in much better relationships. Children and adults can carry happiness to others instead of adding worries and anxieties. Their eyes, and yours, can look as happy as Wu and Finn’s do.

This delightful book can be appreciated by children and adults of all ages. It makes an excellent gift for the readers in your life! I highly recommend this lovely, unique little book!
