McKenzie Rogue has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Izobelle and Levi. Izobelle is on the hunt for the vampire that killed her family and left her for dead. She calls her friend Nina and wants her to go to Epsilon, the hottest club in town with her. Nina comes over and brings something for Izobelle to wear out that night. When they get to the club, they are able to walk in because of Izobelle's connections from work. She doesn't tell Nina the real reason for her being at the club. She tried telling people about what happened to her but no one believed her, so now she doesn't tell anyone about what she is doing. While she and Nina are dancing, Nina tells her that some guy is looking at her like he wants to eat her alive. Nina tells her to go and talk to him. When she goes up to him, things get a little heated between them. Levi and his dragon think she is their mate. He can't be for sure since he doesn't have his heartstone to give to her. Something happens and she tries to get him to leave but he doesn't. He is shocked that she knows about vampires and what they do. Levi tells her that she doesn't know what she is going up against. She tells him that she knows what she is doing. He tries to get her to leave but she isn't leaving without Nina. Levi tells her that he will get Nina out. Levi throws Izobelle over his shoulder and takes her outside. He puts her down and then goes back inside. Once the door is shut, she can't get back in. She goes around the front but can't get in that way either. She goes home and tries to get in touch with Nina with no luck. The next morning, she finally gets Nina on the phone and is told she is fine. Nina tells her that she left before things at the club went down. Izobelle gets a call from her boss telling her that she is needed in at work the next morning at three o'clock. She needs coffee and goes to her favorite coffee shop. While there she runs into Levi. She tells him that she hoped she would see him again and she wants answers about the night before. He tells her that he will tell her everything but not there where anyone can hear what is being said. He asks her to go on a walk with him and she tells him that she and Nina have a lunch date. She gets a message from Nina telling her that lunch is out. Levi starts to leave but she stops him and tells him that her lunch was canceled so a walk was fine. When they get to a spot where they can talk, he tells her that he is a dragon and all he knows about Victor. She never knew the name of the vampire who killed her family until now. He tells her that if she was so set on going after Victor he would teach her how to kill him. Izobelle had gotten a call from her boss telling her that she needed to be at work the next morning at 3:00 o'clock. Levi gets a call that tells him to do something at 6:00 o'clock the same morning Izobelle has t be a work at 3:00. If he doesn't do what he was told to do, Izobelle will be killed. Levi calls his brother Declan and tells him what is going on. Declan gives him a hard time about what he is going to do. Levi tells him that he would do anything to protect Izobelle. Once Levi does what he is told, he grabs Izobelle and takes her to his cabin in the woods. Once he lands and lets Izobelle go, she is scared of him. He shifts back to his human form and tells her that he is not going to hurt her. She doesn't believe him. He gets a call from Declan and is told that now there is a list out with the names of dragons on it including their names. Declan tells him that their brother Ash is mad as all get out. Declan tells him that Ash is sending him to Levi. Levi tells him that Izobelle is scared of him and he thinks that someone gave her something to cause it. Declan tells him that Syrena said for her to get into saltwater and it should take the spell away. They are not anywhere near saltwater and Levi doesn't want to take her out in public since they both have people who want them dead. It takes a while for Levi to get Izobelle to trust him. He tells her again that he would not hurt her for any reason. When Declan gets to Levi's cabin, he gives him a potion for Levi to use for Izobelle with some Epson salt. She needs to take a bath in it. She needs to submerse herself in the water. At first, they don't think it works but then she feels better around Levi. The thought of him being a dragon doesn't scare her like before. She tells him that they are going to do things together. Levi gets a call from Declan in his head telling him that other dragons are on the way to his place and he needs to get outside. Izobelle is still not sure about dragons and Levi tells her that he would be by her the whole time. When the others get there, they talk about what is going on and how to take care of it. While they are all talking, Izobelle gets information that is hard for her to handle at the time. She gets up and takes a walk. Levi's sister Krystana went after her. They talk for a little bit and in a way it makes Izobelle feel better. Before they can get back inside, everyone starts coming out and they don't look happy. Izobelle asked, "What's wrong?" Levi tells her “Philadelphia is on fire." Levi tells her that the news is saying it was a purple and green dragon that did it. He tells her that they have to leave. She makes the suggestion of going back to the city. Levi thinks it is a good idea and that no one would look for them back in the city. Things don't go the way they plan. Once back in the city, they get a package. It is a magical package and it doesn't make sense. They both have to figure it out. When they get to where they need to be and get to the locker and open it, Izobelle turns and she sees her friend Nina. Nina can't move and they have to find a way to get her out of where they are. They get Nina free and take her back to the hotel. Levi gets her a room and Izobelle wants to stay with her to make sure she is fine. Levi has things that he needs to do and he goes off. Izobelle decides to call Syrena and see if she can help her. She tells her something about Levi's heartstone. Syrena, ask if she had anything, and when Izobelle tells her a necklace Syrena asks to see it. When Izobelle shows it to her, Syrena tells her that it is Levi's stone. Izobelle tells her that is doesn't do anything when Levi is around. Syrena thinks that something was done to it. While Izobelle is talking to Syrena, Levi is out flying around. He hears a voice in his head from another dragon or so he thinks. He is told that this person is being held under Central Park. Levi goes looking for this person but ends up getting trapped in a room. He sends out a message to Izobelle in her head. She hears what Levi is telling her and she says something to Syrena about it. Syrena tells her to hold up her necklace and she would put a spell on it to help Izobelle find Levi. Before she can leave to look for Levi, Nina sits up but it is not Nina. It is Tabitha, another clan witch. She tells Izobelle that she and Levi are not mates and everything he is telling her is a lie. Izobelle tells her that she is Levi's mate and if she does anything to hurt him she was coming after her. Izobelle goes to look for Levi and she finds him. Before they can get out Tabitha is there trying to stop them from getting out. Izobelle and Levi have mated and now with Levi in trouble, her dragon comes out. She shifts and tells Tabitha that she had better undo the spell she put on him or she was going to roast her where she stood. Tabitha takes the spell off Levi and they leave. When they get back to the hotel, Izobelle comes up with a plan to get Victor. She hopes his routine is the same. They go to a club that had a theme party going on. Before they go to the club, Levi stops at a shop to get the masks they needed.
Can Izobelle and Levi get things taken care of with Victor so they can have a peaceful life?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Levi and Izobelle's Story . . .

After losing her niece when a vampire sucked her dry right in front of her, Izobelle would not stop until she got vengeance. He had killed slaughtered the rest of her family too, and left Izobelle for dead in a puddle of her blood. And the worst injustice was that the cops didn’t believe her and she was put in a psych ward for 3 days for her delusions. She called a friend, Nina, to loan her a dress and accompany her to an upscale nightclub where she suspected the vampire would be, using her clout as a producer on a national morning talk show to get them in.

On the dance floor, she felt eyes on her and saw a handsome, well-built man at the bar watching her. His green eyes almost glowed in the dimly lit room. She walked over and he introduced himself as Levi Wystan. He was a dragon shifter and second son of the royal Tourmaline line, and he sensed she was human. He tried to keep her attention on himself, but she seemed distracted. He saw Viktor, the vampire he was chasing walk into the VIP section, which is exactly where she led him. This woman was driving him crazy and he didn’t usually react this way. His two brothers had found their fated mates who happened to be human. He didn’t have his heartstone, so he wouldn’t know if she was his mate, but he couldn’t ignore her. Her scent was amazing, and another man also seemed interested as he walked toward them. He still had blood around his lips as he asked if he met her before, then told her to go dance, now. Levi saw that her eyes were not vacant and her expression not slack in obedience. What was she up to? Levi told her to grab Nina and leave, she didn’t know what kind of man that was and he would take care of it for her. He urged her out of the club, but they couldn’t see Nina. When he tried to carry her outside, she squirmed and told him she could not let him do it “again”. How did she know that was a vampire? And what did she mean by “again”? He took her outside and she could not get back in and went home. But she couldn’t reach Nina? Was she killed in the massacre at the club that night? Where was Nina? And what happened to Levi?

'Dragon Exposed' by McKenzie Rogue is part of her Royal Shifters series and tells the story of Izobelle, a human and vampire hunter, and Levi, a dragon shifter. Izobelle's family was killed by a vampire and she was left for dead. She has made it her life's mission to eradicate the vampire that left her alone with no family. She finds out that he socializes at a club called Epsilon and convinces her friend, Nina, to go with her. While she's there she meets Levi and and feels a pull towards him. Levi realizes that this little human is his mate and she knows about vampires. Well, now she's going to find out about dragons and that they were meant for each other.

Ms. Rogue has written a stellar addition to her series. This book is well developed with great characters, an interesting plot, and wonderful dialogue. The story is emotional, with some angst, laughs, secrets, trust issues, passion, and plenty of steam. I enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who likes a sassy heroine and the dragon that loves her.

3 1/2 Stars From Me.........I've not read any other books in this series, but had no problem reading this as a stand-alone. Izobelle out for revenge from the vampire that killed her family and left her for dead. When her friend Nina wants her to go to Epsilon, the hottest club in town, Isabelle jumps at the chance because it's a vampire hangout. There she catches the eye of Levi and he and his dragon think she is their mate. He's surprised that she knows about vampires and when the vampire that killed her family shows up, Viktor can not enthrall Izobelle so Levi tries to protect her. They have great chemistry, are well written characters, and the steam is great. The story twists, turns, and is very well paced. I will go back and read the first 2 books because the series is available to read for FREE with KU.

Izobelle and Levi meet while tracking the same target.
Izobelle had tracked the vampire who killed her family and left her for dead to the club Epsilon and gets her friend Nina to go with her. As she and Nina are dancing she spot a large man standing near the wall and finds she is unable look away. Levi walks towards toward Izobelle and as he gets her a drink he spots his vampire target going to the VIP area. After they talk Izobelle suggests going somewhere quieter and they head for the VIP area and sit at her reserved table and he watches the vampire. Realizing something bad is going to happen he gets Izobelle out and she asked him to find Nina and get her to safety.

This very well-written, short book 3 in The Royal Dragon Shifters Book Series has very strong main Characters, engaging world construction and a entertaining story. These characters are exciting, have chemistry, and are well-crafted with interesting personalities. I cannot wait to read more in this series. There is drama, tension, danger, and romance. This story has action, adventure, twists/turns, chemistry and love with a HEA that must be worked for. These characters have wonderful personalities that are brought alive by this Author. A must read

I loved this book. It was interesting and hooked me from the start. The chemistry between Izobelle and Levi was scorching! They were powerfully attracted to each other and drawn to each other even in a crowded club right from the moment they saw each other. And who wouldn't love a book with both dragons and vampires? Action packed and fast-paced, this is one of those books I hated having to put down without finishing in one sitting. Very well written and great world building. This is the first book I've read in this series, and I would definitely go back to read the others. 5 stars.

Izobelle watched as a vampire killed her whole family and left her for dead on the floor she managed to call an ambulance but when she told the cops that a vampire killed her family no one believed her, now Izobelle is out for revenge so she goes to a nightclub where she knows he gets his victims and that’s where she meets Levi a dragon shifter who was at the club to hunt vampires. There is so much more going on in this fantastic story I loved it and the characters and I highly recommend this book.

Another amazing read in this series Royal Dragon Shifters. This is book three and the story of Levi a dragon shifter and Izobelle a human how captures his heart. This can be read as a standalone but to get a better understanding of the background story and the characters you will want to read them all. The story will hold your attention all the way through. The characters are engaging and fit well together. The journey to their happy ending if a roller coaster ride. I can't wait for the next book. You will not be disappointed.

Izobella was left for dead when Vicktor sucked the rest of her family dry, she has been tracking him for years. She gets close Levi takes her out and misses trying to kill Vicktor. Levi’s dragon knew that Izobella was his mate without the heartstone first he had to get past what the vampires did to her. Izobella and Levi had to go through so much from vampires and their witch but hey love wins again! Great book need Declan get his mate

Amazing Reads

I have enjoyed all of the books in this series, so far. I love the curvey girl and hot guy angle. The only thing that really bugs me is the text errors. There weren't so many that it made me want to stop reading. And, in my mind I was able to replace the wrong words with the correct ones, but it still gave me pause each time. It's like spell check did the job, but nobody made sure the correct words replaced the typos. Also a couple instances of missing words.

Good

Wasn't sure about this one. There is a lot going on in this story. Izobelle is scared, fearful of dragons, even before she is thralled. Then she isn't, even before the spell is broken. A lot of should I, shouldn't I. It got annoying.

Loved it!

Izobelle & Levi are great, after meeting in a club where Izobelle is tracking a vampire, Levi makes sure that Izobelle goes home before she can get killed!
