The angst! The tension! The slow burn! The swoons! Unrequited love! The feeeeels! OH MY GOD. I wanted to throw my kindle so many fucking times! I yelled! My heart ached in my chest!
What I can tell you is this book forbidden because they are step-siblings, but god damn the tension and the chemistry and the soul connection is THERE! GOOOD GOD this is one of those romances that I LIVE and DIE for!!!!
And I cannot finish without telling you about the EPIC BROMANCE in this book! I fell so hard for each and every one of the band members of The Haunted Obsession! And the way they were with Nova just had my heart all melty!!! No this is NOT a RH. LOL

Parker and Nova were teenagers when the both fell in love with music, art and each other. Unfortunately, as new step siblings, there was never an appropriate time for their love to blossom. When Parker’s big break presented itself, Nova remained behind adjusting to heartbreak and resentment.
Once upon a time, you’d forgotten me as quickly as you’d known me.
Fast forward 5 years and both are accomplished in their field. Parker is lead singer of The Haunted Obsession with international acclaim while Nova is an artistic nomad leaving her anonymous mark as she goes. Although these two have lost contact, neither are far from each other’s mind. But when the reconnect, Parker refuses to let Nova run a second time.
How many nights had I looked up at the sky and wished he’d been right beside me? How many moments had I closed my eyes to imagine him there, sharing the life we painted when we were kids?
Too many to count.
Told from past to present, we learn of the unbreakable bond these two shared. What may have been initially misconstrued as inappropriate, their love was pure and genuine. Now as adults and once again working and spending quality time together, it’s like no time has passed. Yet before either can move forward, previous hurts need to be acknowledged and hearts stripped bare.

this book was a chaotic mess, but so is my mind so pls excuse if i'm all over the place. i liked some parts, but then hated other parts and it just felt lacking to me overall. i was excited for this because, from the blurb, it reminded me of Ghosted (which i loved) but disappointed is the only thing i feel after finishing the book. :(

— Parker (H) fucking redheads because it reminded him of Nova (h) and he wanted to get her outta his system brought me flashbacks to Danilo/Sofia’s situation (Fragile Longing) and that was an image i didn’t need to think of ever again, thank u.
— let's go straight to the threesome scene for a minute because it reminded me of that scene from The Boy on the Bridge and i didn't like it. at all. Ash, i love you but NO. funny thing is, i kinda want a story for Ash because he intrigued me the most out of everyone in this book lol.
— i don't understand why these so-called alpha males are written as possessive in the beginning, if they're willing to share their lover?? like...

also, if y’all have read the first book, is it worth the read? i didn’t realize until i finished this it was part of a series, lmao. i just assumed it was a standalone, but i’m kinda interested in checking out the first book. maybe.

I’ve never been a fan of the whole stepsibling trope because most the stories I have read in the past just weren’t executed well for my taste. See, in my world/brain, there’s nothing taboo about falling in love with a stepsibling and I find it ridiculous when those stories are marketed in that fashion. So I just mostly stay away all together. But I just met Fiona and her word wizardry, and I really like what she did with Blame it on the Champagne, so here are. Well, she went all in and won the jackpot with Blame it on the Tequila!
Fiona Cole gave me all kinds of reader goosebumps when she developed this story. Both Nova and Parker were outstanding characters and I want to be their friend. Parker has a delicious dirty mouth *wink* on him that got me all kinds of hot and bothered in all the right places and Nova and her girls are the bestest! This story was pure joy with a scattering dust of #feels that hit all the marks for me as a reader. GAH, why have I waited this long to read this author?! I feel so behind! #help
I think what I liked best about this story is that at its bare bones, it’s a story of redemption and reconnection. It’s a story of two souls destined but deterred for a little while by choices and life. It’s a beautiful, slow-burn, passionate and sexy journey full of tension in all the right places that will have you bursting with happiness from the inside out. #trust

Ahhh!! Nova and Parker...swoon! I loved these two so much! Slow burn build up to hot, steamy scenes and angst leading to heart eyes and so much love for these two! Rock star and supernova are everything! The girl gang continues next with Raelynn’s story and judging by the snippet at the end, it’s going to be another knockout by Fiona Cole!!

Fiona did it again, y’all! Let me tell you that I DISPISE step-brother romances but then you’d be like “apoorva you gave this 4 stars” and my one word answer will be “Fiona”. The fact that i usually don’t enjoy step-brother romances but i enjoyed this speaks volumes! When, I read the first book in the series, I wasn’t expecting to love this book so much. There’s just something about Fiona’s writing🙌

Holy shit. Parker Callahan,24, is a character I don’t know what to make of. There were few times where I was so done with him cause his decision making skills annoyed me to no ends but there were few another moments when I wanted to give him a tight hug and tell him I loved that he was following his dreams. I loved his relationship with his other band members of his band The Haunted Obsession and I loved how caring he was when it came to Nova, though he did fuck up twice where i wanted to kill him but ehh, I’m gonna forgive him cause he sings and boys who love music and sings🥵>>>>
”Then there was Nova. She intrigued me from the first smile and soft-spoken conversation. But once I got to know her, I saw the depth to her that matched my own. We just…clicked in an almost indescribable way.”
Nova Hearst, 23, is one of the most talented h I’ve ever read about and the most relatable when it comes to her hobbies. I personally loved how she felt alive travelling, painting and blogging. I would be lying if I said she was perfect cause she wasn’t and gave up too easily because of trust issues which I related to as well. Knowing about what happened to her in the past just made me go all tears😭 I understood why she was the way she was and I LOVED how in the end she said “fuck you” to all her insecurities and went after her happiness.
”I burned for her, watching the way she danced and laughed—her head thrown back, mouth open wide, arms in the air, and long red hair flowing down her back.”
Only me getting Simon Basset vibes (bridgerton)?? Overall, this was a really enjoyable and fun read and yes, there were few moments which I didn’t like but we all have our kinks. I enjoyed the setting and I’m even more excited for Rae’s story cause I love that badass and am really intrigued with her character. Is it too early to ask for her book🥺🥺
He made me better—brave. Hence, why when I would shy away, all he had to do was hold out his hand, and I trusted him enough to step into his light.

Not only was this my favorite type of romance, but it also includes some of the best friendships. There was never a dull moment when Ash, Oren, and Brogan were on the page.

This might be a favorite book of the year!?!? Seriously??? This is a second chance romance between Nova and Parker, who used to be step siblings who were falling for each other when they were younger. Now, Nova has a huge social media following and is a successful song writer and Parker is the member of a huge band. The two have a chance meeting on social media and are reconnected, and Nova ends up joining the band on tour to write with them. Old wounds are uncovered and there is sooooo much emotion and angst in this book! I thought the balance of the flashbacks with the present day chapters were absolutely perfect. I loved how Nova was so hesitant to be with Parker again for a variety of reasons that were revealed as the book went on. The chemistry was undeniable, though, and Parker was just so in love with Nova and would do anything to be with her. ugh I loved every second of this book!!

I'm a sucker for a second chance romance. Something about the feels and angst of it just does it for me. Add a rockstar into the mix, and I'm so sold!
This one had a bit of a mystery element to it that hooked me from the very first page. The story is told in alternating past and present, with the majority of the story taking place in the present.
Parker and Nova first met as teens. They had an immediate chemistry and pull that both of them tried desperately to avoid because they were step siblings. Their mutual love of music brought them together, but then seemed to ultimately tear them apart. Parker and Nova fell hard and fast, until they fell apart and everything changed.
Years later, Nova is still not quite over Parker, but she's moved on and determined not to think about that part of her life again. But then a night of tequila and a bit of fate bring them into each other's orbits again.
Parker is determined not to let Nova walk away this time, and Nova is just as determined to run from all of it. She's pretty hell bent on avoiding Parker, until fate intervenes once more and puts them as close to each other as possible.
While I enjoyed the story, I didn't love it as much as I did the first book. I think part of it stems from my frustration with Nova and her inability to tackle anything head on. She runs from any confrontation and while I understood it at the very end when the big part of the mystery gets revealed, it was no less frustrating. Ultimately, I can't place my finger on exactly what it was or why, but it was just missing a little something for me. That spark just wasn't there. I liked the couple and the romance, but I wasn't riveted to the pages. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. It was a fun and engaging read. It just won't be anything I'd come back to.

I’d never had the all-consuming urge to go, go, go until we were one. I’d never had the urge to crawl inside someone and never come out. Until him.
I'm a sucker for a second chance romance. Something about the feels and angst of it just does it for me. Add a rockstar into the mix, and I'm so sold!
This one had a bit of a mystery element to it that hooked me from the very first page. The story is told in alternating past and present, with the majority of the story taking place in the present.
Parker and Nova first met as teens. They had an immediate chemistry and pull that both of them tried desperately to avoid because they were step siblings. Their mutual love of music brought them together, but then seemed to ultimately tear them apart. Parker and Nova fell hard and fast, until they fell apart and everything changed.
Years later, Nova is still not quite over Parker, but she's moved on and determined not to think about that part of her life again. But then a night of tequila and a bit of fate bring them into each other's orbits again.
Parker is determined not to let Nova walk away this time, and Nova is just as determined to run from all of it. She's pretty hell bent on avoiding Parker, until fate intervenes once more and puts them as close to each other as possible.
While I enjoyed the story, I didn't love it as much as I did the first book. I think part of it stems from my frustration with Nova and her inability to tackle anything head on. She runs from any confrontation and while I understood it at the very end when the big part of the mystery gets revealed, it was no less frustrating. Ultimately, I can't place my finger on exactly what it was or why, but it was just missing a little something for me. That spark just wasn't there. I liked the couple and the romance, but I wasn't riveted to the pages. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. It was a fun and engaging read. It just won't be anything I'd come back to.

Wow. I knew Fiona Cole could write emotional, tortured characters and their heartbreaking journeys to recovery, but I didn't know she could write angst like this. Blame It on the Tequila is a masochistic slow burn with emotion and heat that jumps off every page. I was sucked in from the prologue and held captive until the very last sentence. Every time I thought I knew what was going to happen, Cole spun me in a completely new direction. I had no choice but to throw my hands up and enjoy the ride, and what a heck of a ride it was! My favorite part of the story was seeing how their attraction grew as teenagers. There's just something about that time in our lives that I never get enough of! I love the hormonal rage, the angst of miscommunication and misfired signals, and the obsession with one another. Party dance scene... ENOUGH SAID! *fans self*

A solid second chance read with frustrating moments. I don’t blame the h for running. Both the H and the h were late teens when an opportunity of a lifetime presented itself for the H. They still had so much to learn about communication and compromise. When the h got caught up in a horrible thing (which the H and his band mates had shrugged off the threat) they still weren’t communicating properly.
Feelings were hurt and so when they caught up years later, the chemistry was still there but they needed to address their past and apologise.

Fiona is a one-click author for me, AND THIS BOOK IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE WHY. Oh my lord. This is one of my top reads of 2021. I was lucky enough to get an ARC through Valentine PR and the second this hit my kindle I dove in.
This book picks off where we left off in Blame it on the Champagne. A few tequila shots deep and Naughty Nova is busting it down on the dance floor. That's when she realizes her best friend Raelynn is on an Instagram live with none other than Parker Callahan.

There is not one thing I didn't love about this book. I loved the forbidden, stepbrother aspect. It added so much angst to the story. Because it's a second chance romance, we get a look into the past. When it comes to flashback chapters in books, most times, I'm flying through because I just want to get to the present and see where the story goes. This book had the perfect amount of flashbacks. There wasn't one time where I felt it dragged or was pointless. I actually enjoyed the flashback chapters just as much as the present! There was so much freaking angst and I DEVOURED IT.
Blame it on the Tequila has officially made it to my all-time favs & comfort reads list. Parker and Nova were absolutely perfect. YOU CAN'T CONVINCE ME THEY AREN'T SOULMATES. I loved Nova because I felt I related a lot to her character. She's the reserved girl that once you get to know her is a complete wild child. And Parker? Holy hotness. He is 12/10 a new book boyfriend for me. Want to know why? He is 100% a simp for Nova. I GOT A THING FOR SIMPS. He literally only sees Nova it's so freaking cute! Plus all of the groveling was amazing lol.
I could go on and on but I'll end it here! Blame it on the Tequila was everything I wanted and so much more. It is officially one of my comfort reads and I am already ready for a re-read. And that ending???? FIONA YOU'RE EVIL. How am I supposed to wait for Raelynn's book now? Something tells me it might have to do with vodka ;)

This was my first book by this author and I must say - wow! I’m so blown away with this story and I’m so glad I gave in after seeing the book a lot on bookstagram and dived in.
It was for sure an emotional roller coaster. One of the reasons why I love this book so much is that we got a glimpse of the couple in the prologue when they were young, and there obviously were unanswered questions arising, before it moved to the present, five years later. The author did a great job by jumping from the present to the past throughout the story, revealing what really happened between Nova and Parker. It definitely gave spark to it rather than having the first half of the story in past and then moving to the present - you get my point.
Nova was an amazing heroine, but when I got to hear the story of what happened to her (no spoilers here), I fell in love with her even more. She definitely went through a lot and after losing not only the love of her life but also her best friends, she still followed her dreams and was very brave. There were things about her that might have slightly irritated me, but I love that in the end she realised some of her mistakes and faced her biggest fear in order to be happy.
Parker’s character was amazing and even though he had his flaws, I fell in love with him - immediately. Seeing him in past and then in present, I really admired that fame never changed him and in the end, he never acted like the famous rockstar and just wanted to enjoy his life with his friends, Nova and do what he loves the most - music.
Moving to their relationship, I must say that it was a very frustrating journey. Whenever I thought „Yes, this is it, happiness is happening“, something always came in and messed it up. However, I did understand that their relationship was never supposed to be easy - especially considering how everyone kept on reminding them about their living situation in past, even though their parents only got together when Nova and Parker were (almost) adults. And then, of course, Nova’s fear of being in the spotlight was the reason why it was hard to give in all those years later.
But I was melting with the cute scenes they had, and I also must say that, again, the author did an incredible job by describing the connection they had. You could see the love in all the scenes, how they acted around each other and also how they treated each other. It was a crazy ride, but I completely adored everything they went through.
And, of course, I must highlight the side characters, especially the other band members. They added spark to this story and I loved every scene with them because they always made me laugh. Anyway, is it too soon to ask for a book with Ash?

This book had all sorts of great tropes wrapped up in one book and I really enjoyed it. It was an easy read and great writing style. I didn't realize there would be so much angst and emotion and I loved that! I loved the chemistry between Nova & Parker. As teenagers, their connection, though forbidden, was really sweet. As adults, that chemistry was still there, although I felt like there could've been more growth in the present chapters. I felt like there were some missed opportunities and we dealt with the same issue throughout with Nova always running away. Also the whole issue to why Nova wanted to be private I could've done without. I felt like that whole scenario was thrown in there and then brushed off pretty quickly. Overall, I still loved this, couldn't put it down and the steamy scenes were sexy as hell

Great potential until 70% but it went downhill for me from there
After reading the Complicated Parts trilogy by Ashley Jade I'm in the mother of book slumps. I've read three other books and I've had zero luck so far.
Take this book. I liked it more than the previous book in this series. Until 67% I was sure it would be a 5-star read.
But then, the author decided to make the heroine an exhibitionist that got her sexual education from... wait for it... watching porn.
A character with deep anxiety after being kidnapped in her teens by a serial killer is a closeted exhibitionist. I just don't get it.
And to make things even more interesting, we get a threesome that kind of reminded me of the one from Kill Switch but without thegood parts emotional tension and buildup.
And that killed the book for me. Didn't dnf it but I was close.
And it had to end with them getting married cause why not have a cliché ending?

As with every book I read from Fiona, I was completely captivated from the start. This story is angsty, slightly taboo, insanely hot and oh so addictive when you read it.
Nova is an artist who stays away from the spotlight due to a tragic event from the past and Parker is a rock star.
Their love story is intense, there was so much sexual chemistry between them but they were never able to act on it. The story filters from the present to the past, showing the progression of their story from being step siblings who can't be together, to where they both are now in their lives. I was rooting for them from the get go as you really can't deny the chemistry between them. Side note - the band members were hilarious, Oren being one of my favourites.
There was one aspect of the book I was shocked about, and that was some of the sex scenes. Nova is one kinky woman and I loved it.
If you've read any of Fionas books, you will definitely not be disappointed with this! And if you haven't read any of Fionas, then you 100% need too - she's amazing.

It’s so angsty and slow burn in the best way 🔥
Nova and Parker have an intense connection, I loved their relationship.
I felt they understood each other and connected deeply.
It’s not just attraction. It’s so much more.
Not saying their chemistry isn’t off the charts, it is! They are crazy hot and super sexy with a bit of naughty. My favorite combination ;)
The pace was perfect, the story was so enjoyable.
It’s a mix of emotional,serious,fun and HOT!

Like the previous standalone, I really enjoyed this one. It had a really great heroine, it was very steamy, and I loved the premise of their conflict.
What I loved:
1. I really loved this heroine. She is flawed and a runner when times get tough, but her reasoning behind her behavior was understandable. How she chose to deal and embrace her trauma was fantastic. I also loved that she had her own predilections in the bedroom and wasn’t afraid to share and chase her fantasies in the bedroom.
2. I liked Parker. He definitely has a lot to atone for, but I loved that he tries his best to love her.
3. The conflict was unexpected for me. I didn’t expect it to go there, and I liked the interesting aspect.
4. The STEAM, Fiona Cole level hot.
What I needed more of:
1. The trauma between Parker and Nova was hidden from the reader for a long time, which I was fine with, but then the resolution was very fast and her recover from the climax of the story was also quick. Trauma and triggers like that, to me, would have a longer recover time, more development.
I really enjoyed the narration and the second standalone in this series. Both of the books have been fun and hot, great escapes from the weight of the world.

When I’ve read the little hints abot Nova's story in the previous book in this series, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. Fiona Cole delivered such an epic story filled with angst, heartbreak, longing and unwavering love. Rading it was an amazing experience!
Parker and Nova’s love story is deliciously forbidden and and heart-wrenching. There were many times when I wanted to cry and scream, but the final result of their hard journey was worth every second of the anguish and disappointment they experienced. These two complemented each other so beautifully and their passion was off the charts. Their remarkable love story is a real rollercoaster of emotions that will get your heart through the grinder and cause butterflies in your stomach at the same time!

ONE OF MY FAVOURITE READS OF 2021!
Thank you Valentine PR for providing me with an ARC of the second book in the Blame it on the Alcohol series. I just finished Blame It On the Champagne (and loved it), so was more than excited to jump into this! Please note this book can also be read as standalone.
Tropes: Step-brother / Taboo / Rockstar Romance
Nova is an independent red head woman, who would rather live in a forest in a van - Then in a house with people. She is an artist and a writer. And in love with her step brother.
Parker is introduced as the talented musician, looking for the fame in being in a band. After a battle of a bands competition, he has the opportunity to follow that rockstar dream. Except he is in love with his step sister.
Fast forward 5 years, Nova & Parker are living very separate lives. Parker is out being a rockstar, while Nova is travelling around/exploring nature by herself. Until one of her best friends gets married and her other best friend, silently links Nova & Parker to accidentally "meet" over an instagram LIVE. Parker then will do anything bring Nova back into his life, but Nova can't forgive him for their past. An opportunity then arises which finds Nova working with Parker and his band in writing songs for their new album. This job will get her staying on a bus with the band while they tour around the country. This of course brings Nova & Parker together and having to deal with the past, as well as their feelings that have never left.
This story jumps between the present and the past, as well as duel POV. I adored this new adult romance. I read it within 24 hours and it has gone down easily as one of my favourite books. I love a good stepbrother/taboo romance, and to throw in a rockstar plot - It was executed perfectly. I now shall be pre-ordering the paperback, with it being released world wide May 27th 2021.

I saw Rockstar and Second Chance and I jumped. Expected a LOT and now I'm just like "mehhhh".
This book had really good tropes.. Rockstar Romance (yes please), Step-Siblings and Second Chance Romance. But...something didn't work here. I don't know if it's the writing (some places it got annoying...I couldn't vibe with it) or the story. The story had a lot of potential to be bigger and better and it just lacked a "spark" for me. I've also read my share of rockstar romances, years ago, and this book doesn't come close to any of those with regards to that particular trope. I'd have loved to see more scenes with the entire band. Their chemistry and banter were the parts that I actually enjoyed and sadly they weren't enough!
The chemistry between the leads was lacking and the story became generic towards the end (which is weird because I'm usually a sucker for that). There wasn't anything huge apart from us getting to know what happened to Nova in the past, which lead to the distance. It felt like things were building up really well but for some reason, everything fell..
I know this review is vague AF, but that's how this book made me feel. Mehhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Blame it on the Tequila is the second installment in the Blame it on the Alcohol series, featuring the second chance rockstar romance of Parker Callahan and Nova Hearst. It all started one drunken night when she came face to face (well screen) with the one guy she swore she would never see again. He’s a famous rockstar, she’s the girl he left behind to follow his dreams. He wants her back, she’s not ready to go down that road with him again. But when she gets the offer of a lifetime, to go on the road with Carter and his band to help write their upcoming album, she can’t pass it up. She won’t fall in love with him again, if only she was that in control of her heart when Parker Callahan was the one pulling the strings.
The boy I loved, whose dream he worked so hard for, sat there unable to be happy, and I loved him enough to absolve him and push him to take that dream.
I really like Fiona Cole, I can’t say I’ve read a ton of her stuff but I can say that I haven’t regretted any that I have. The first installment of this series was a 4 star, losing that last star due to the heroine’s over the top stubbornness……it infuriated me despite me actually liking her. However, the girl gang that is Vera, Nova, & Rae was total goals AND Fiona sure knew how to set up the next installment and hook me with just a tease.
I love rockstar and second chance romance, put them together and it’s got the makings of being a potential favorite. I loved Nova & Parker’s story, but what the hell is with her making her heroine’s so unreasonably stubborn and ridiculously blind?? I want one reasonable heroine that doesn’t overthink everything. All in all though, this was definitely my favorite of the series so far.

The Breakdown:
Plot - The recurring theme with these books is that alcohol is involved in some decision/action that alters the course of their life…..it’s done in a believable way. This one went a lot deeper emotionally than the first which made it better (to me), I loved how it connected the past and the present in a time jumping way to tell their overall story…..both climax (past & present) build up together which made it more of a journey worth investing in.
Main Characters - I loved Carter more than Nova, simply because like her bestie Vera she was stubborn and presumptuous…..
…..add in a little cowardice (when times get hard) & selfishness (without even recognizing it) and you can see why I wanted to strangle her. What sets Nova apart from Vera is that she goes on a personal journey & acknowledges her contributions to what went wrong and fights like hell to make amends. Carter on the other hand, he may be a little clueless at times BUT there was no doubt at any point that he didn’t love her. I LOVED him.
Connection/Chemistry - The way the story is told really built up the connection, without the past sections I don’t think it would’ve felt the way it did. As far as their chemistry? Jesussssss, have I mentioned how gifted Fiona is at writing the smutty side of romance? I mean these two made me sweat, the good kind of heat……
Screaming moans ripped from deep inside me as I came fully apart, watching this man devour my pussy. “Fucking. Again,” he ordered like a savage animal, diving back in for more. “I-I-can’t—” “You will,” Parker demanded in my ear.
……it’s HOT. There are two scenes that had me damn near panting in a way I would’ve been embarrassed of had someone noticed. Easily top 10 hottest scenes of the year so far.
Secondary Characters - This is where this book shines extra bright, first with the ultimate girl gang and how their friendship/bond is like a “romance” all on its own. Every woman is going to see some of their own friendships in these three…..
…..Rae is my favorite (thank God she’s up next)….

……I expected their awesomeness, but the guys were the unexpected cherry on top. It’s like the girls but in rockstar guy form, I adored their bond and support for Carter BUT was obsessed with how much they cared for Nova…..
“Supernova,” he shouted. My heart jumped up into my throat, and I froze. “You beautiful, crazy-ass, bitch. Look at you, standing there like fire.”
…..the way they are her own little hype men and care deeply for her made this all the better. I am all for an eventual spin-off featuring these wild but lovable dudes.
The Verdict:
Blame it on the Tequila was an angsty, sexy as hell second chance rockstar romance and I was devoured every crumb she gave us. The band is goals, Carter & Supernova are definite goals, and the girl gang is supreme goals……all elements of this book I recommend you experience for yourself. In fact the entire series is a definite recommend from me, especially with Rae’s due next……she’s going to be a blast for sure!

Blame it on the tequila is an emotional roller coaster following rock star Parker and his stepsister Nova. I was so excited for this book because I expected there to be angst from a forbidden relationship on top of Parker being a rockstar and Tequila did not disappoint. Nova is incredibly creative and filled with a soul of art. She is tasked to help Parker's band write songs for their upcoming album while facing unresolved feelings head on. Meanwhile Parker has never moved on from his feelings for Nova and he carries guilt for his part in Nova's traumatic past. I loved both characters and their flaws from Nova running to Parker putting his career first. There are flashbacks that i feel really add to the character's backgrounds while making it easy for the reader to follow the plot. I thought Nova was full of surprises as a character, definitely surpassing my initial expectations. I can't quite put my finger on why I love Parker so much,, but he may be one of my favorite male leads from Fiona's books. Both have so much chemistry and longing for one another that I couldn't put the book down. There are of course extra steamy scenes that I feel are a staple in much of Fiona's books. Tequila delivers on all fronts and is not to be missed. It also makes me desperately hope Fiona will create a rockstar series focusing on a band!

Nova. Meets this boy, in highs school. Charming. Charismatic. Protective.
