This is a quick love story about 2 opposites Gabriel the big man on campus and Ava, the good girl who stays out of trouble. These 2 meet at a college party and Gabriel tries to get Ava to spend time with him. Ava agrees to getting coffee if Gabriel can win a bet she sets for him. It’s pretty funny to see what Gabriel will do to win and get a date! Gabriel has a previous fling with Ashley who becomes attached to him trying to force more than a hook up that she is and makes Gabriel a bit uncomfortable with her threats. Getting to know one another is very natural and beautiful when they become a couple. There are secrets that neither Gabriel or Ava know and as Ava is threatened, stalked and had her room ransacked does Gabriel come to rescue her and give her a safe place to stay. When they uncover bits and pieces of the secret they go to confront her dad then his father to get the answers and things get turned upside down for them all! Danger comes for them and once they figure it out Gabriel takes Ava to a very special place! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Opposites Attract

I wouldn't necessarily call this an enemies-to-lovers, it's more of an opposites attract. The first interaction between Ava and Gabriel is what got me hooked. Gabriel is the bad boy jock campus heart breaker and Ava is the good girl who stays out of trouble. Gabriel wants to take Ava on a date but she wants nothing to do with him. Ava finally agrees to go on a date with Gabriel after he finds her favorite quote in a book, she starts seeing there is more to Gabriel then she realizes. The more they hang out, the more they grow to like each other and things start to heat up. As things start to get more serious they find out both their father's are keeping a secret, which brings danger to their door step. Gabriel will do anything to keep the girl he is falling for safe. Will they get through the secrets and the danger to get to their happy ending? You'll just have to read and find out for yourself.

This wasn't what I had expected I thought there would be more tension between the two protagonist Gabriel and Ava there relationship moved pretty fast it was still interesting. Ava is getting strange messages that are threatening in nature and Gabriel is a rich player with a serious problem of his own. Ava wants nothing too do with Gabriel but he charms her anyway Ava figures she can just walk away until the threats and Gabriel won't let anything happen two the girl hes fallen for now they have a mystery to solve before something dangerous happens to them. This dose have some violence there are several people that could be behind things and one very cringe worthy girl.

Gabriel is the popular boy of the university and Ava considers herself a girl of the lot. But when Gabriel sees her he can't help but ask her out, even though Ava makes him work hard to get it.
They begin to go out together, but Ava begins to receive strange messages, they follow her when she leaves the library, they enter and destroy her room...
Gabriel doesn't hesitate to help her and offer her his house while they investigate who may be behind all this.
Their investigation leads them to their respective parents and a common past, a horrible accident that cost a boy his life. And now someone has returned to their lives to take revenge.
It’s not bad, though it doesn't have a lot of tension or angst either, but it’s an easy read.

Nice story, writer has promise

While this basic love story had a solid storyline and likable characters it needed an additional edit. A few suggestions; he was supposed to be an athlete, that was never mentioned, practice, games etc. He didn't know her name, yet was on a date; how did he contact her, set it up? The jealous girlfriend and the crazy brother, who wrecked the room? I was waiting for the girl to have taken his wallet or something after the long hug. That being said, I would read more books by this author.

This started off peaking my interest with Ava's rejection of Gabriel. When she finally gives in and goes on a date with him, he realizes he does not want to be with any other woman. Strange things begin to happen and they both discover their fathers have a secret. It will definitely keep you engaged. Not to mention the steamy chemistry between Gabriel and Ava and lets not forget crazy Ashley.

Exciting and steamy read.

I absolutely loved the relationship between Gabriel and Ava, and the steamy scenes were beautiful and hot. I wasn’t quite so sold on the ‘dark secrets’ aspects, however it was exciting and did keep me turning the pages.

Chase and Amanda's story had me laughing when they 1st saw each other again. I swear there were flames shooting out of their mouths because of their history. There's all the things I look for in a love story drama and passion are my two favorites, but I'll stop there so you can read the other stuff that happens.

I really loved the plot. It's a very nice ROM - Com with suspense and unexpected twist which make this book really interesting.
2 different kind of persons met and then fall in love with each other but that brings danger to their lives. Because of the dangerous situation they actually fell in love. The way they fight to protect each other. It's just lovely.

I gave this book 3 stars…not because of the story, but because of the writing. Did anyone involved in getting this published ever hear of spell check, or grammar check? Talk about distracting! If I hadn’t liked the characters and story line, I’d have ditched it after the first few pages.

Too many typos.

It just destroys it for me when the author misses such blatant errors. I mean, "kidnaped"? "Hehelp"? " breaks" for car brakes?
