Stephen J. Lee has done a commendable job by shedding light on all aspects of the main events in European History from 1789-1980. He has dissected the topics to present a clear picture of history while avoiding unnecessary details.
Thus he has dealt satisfactorily with almost all the issues in minimum words.

Bu kadar çok sevip de bitirmem bu kadar uzun süren bir kitap olmamıştı. Avrupa Tarihinden Kesitler, hap gibi, Avrupa'daki siyasi, askeri, iktisadi, felsefi gelişmeleri ve birbirlerine olan etkilerini kronolojik sırayla anlatan harika bir kitap. Avrupanın şu anki Avrupa olma yolunda başından geçen belli başlı tüm olayları, detaylara boğmadan ama detay vererek anlatıyor.

Avrupa tarihi üzerine bir kitap okuyacaksanız bunu okuyun derim. Direkt ikincisinden başladım çünkü güncel Avrupanın oluşumuna daha yakın olayları anlatıyor.
