Things have been going decently lately—my new business, Hallowed Homes, is growing and my relationship with my brother, Angelo, has never been better.
My love life is still a mess, but what else is new, right?
And, yes, I still have a massive crush on Marty Zach, even if there are rumors he’s now dating my friend, Poppy.
Crappy love life aside, everything is about to go to hell in a handbasket when an exotic woman named Rhea walks into my office on a cold February day.
Apparently I’m the only one who can see her.
And as if that wasn’t mystifying enough, she won’t stop crying about getting access to one of my listings—an Art Deco house that isn’t currently on the market.
Wanting to help Rhea and hoping she’ll stop appearing to me, I start looking into the Mathison House and its owner, Tobias.
Pretty soon I’m involved in a double-murder mystery that not only threatens my sanity but my relationship with my best friend, Roy—a relationship that’s suddenly become pretty darn hot…
I’m a huge fan of anything paranormal and I always have been. I get super excited whenever they have those Twilight Zone Marathon days and anything ghost or vampire related will always attract my attention.
My interests are varied but aside from writing, I’m most excited about traveling. I’m extremely fortunate to have been able to live in England and Scotland, both places really having a profound effect on my books.
Thanks for checking out my books and I hope you enjoy them! Happy Haunting!

She is running a real estate company for monsters in Haven Hallow. Strange events start to happen which is normal in Haven Hallow. Then events get even stranger leading to a happy ending 😀.
I would recommend this series and authors to 👍 readers of romantic family and friends relationships adventure paranormal fantasy novels 👍🔰. 2024
This is the 14th book in the Haven Hollow series. It is a collaboration between HP Mallory and JR Rain. The book falls in the Paranormal Women’s Fiction genre. In this book there is some romance and some mild descriptive scenes of a sexual nature.
This book primarily focuses on Fifi and her developing relationship with Roy, as well as introducing a bit more about her relationship with her brother. A haunting and a demonic possession bring out Fifi’s true nature and we see more aspects of her and the succubus within, which have previously been alluded to but not really fully explored until now.
Over this series, all the main characters have seen growth and development and despite the differences in their natures and outlooks on life, they all gel well as a community of supernatural beings. Their humanity very much shines through and they are all relatable in their own ways.
There must be at least one more book to come in this series, as there are still more story arcs to close but a part of me doesn’t want them to end. I like Haven Hollow. I like these characters and their eventful lives. I’m looking forward to the next book.
The reading order for this series so far is:

Life in Haven Hallow is going great , Fifi is doing great with her new job as owner of HALLOWED HOMES and she is actually getting along with her brother . Things were pretty peaceful until the day that a mystery woman shows up at the reality office and only Fifi can see her. She is crying about an art deco house that she needs to get access to . Well it isn't on the market yet so Fifi starts to look into the Mathison house and the current owner Tobais. Where things just don't seem to be right, so now she has a mystery to solve and she also has to figure out what is going on with her best friend and the man she is crushing on . There is so much going on what will a girl / succubus do .
The gang from Haven Hallow are back and funnier then ever. In this book we get to dive deeper into Fifi's heart and her head . She is strong but there are some moments we see her struggling with what is going on . She feels like she is loosing her mind with everything that is going on . She is trying to figure everything out and figuring out who she is at the same time. We get to see Roy and Marty and the gang also , all trying to help Fifi out . Roy well is as sexy as ever and Marty is still the sweet guy that everyone wants as their best friend. Everyone is there to help Tobias and his haunting . Tobias is a sweet guy who is having a hard time of it because of what is happening in his house . i truly love these characters and love how they are growing and becoming more complex with each book . This is the fourteenth book in the series and I am loving it .This book has ghost , succubus , a possession and a house no one can enter .So what is a girl to do . The stories are so much fun to read and the characters are well crafted and complex . The authors have really crafted a great landscape with the stories . I read this book in an evening and laughed my way all the way through . i would suggest that you read the other books in the series before you start this one . So if you want a great series to read check them out and enjoy ,
Fifi has got her stuff together. or so she thought. Her brother and her are getting along. She has the reality office. She has friends that want to help her. I think this book shows us just how far Fifi has come. I want her to make it in Haven Hallow. She is trying so hard to be a new person without her succubus. It is such a struggle. I was like girl get it together. You are falling down. She has a new clint. A ghost or other demon, Fifi isn't sure what. The girl can only be seen by Fifi and her brother. You wonder what she is and how is this going to work out. Then twist up. The house the ghost wants is not on the market. So as Fifi is looking for it she finds that the guy that owns the house has looked into selling it. Perfect in for Fifi to go visit. What she finds is a whole nother mess. Tobias the owner of the house is acting strange, and the house is most defiantly dark. Fifi is fighting her succubus and has not feed in a while. In comes Roy. I am not going to get into that to much because any way it goes it will be spoiler. Anyway, one thing leads to another, and we have a mystery to solve. Who is the ghost and why does Tobias act like he has something going on? Both questions you are going to want to figure out. Grab this book up and the others in the series. All are so good.
Art Deco Apparitions is the second book in the Hallowed Homes series and book 14 in the Haven Hollow series. Fifi is the star of this spin-off series and I enjoyed continuing to get to know her. The cast of usual players are scattered about throughout the story, but most of them don't get very much screen time.
Fifi is now the owner of Hallowed Homes (formerly Hallowed Realty) and when a mystery woman appears inside the realty office, Fifi is afraid she’s losing her mind. Fifi is the only one who can see Rhea. To make matters worse, Rhea inquires about a home currently not on the market. Upon a visit to the homeowner, Fifi knows something is up and it’s definitely on the sinister side.
Art Deco Apparitions is a wonderful book in the Haven Hollow series by H.P. Mallory and J.R. Rain. This writing duo brings interesting stories, intriguing characters, and thought-provoking mysteries to life. The character development provides history and growth, and the world-building creates a fantastic world to watch the characters do their thing.
I'm really disappointed in the pairing of Roy and Fifi, I still looked forward to him and Poppy who I found was a better match. I believed that witch from Roy's village was interfering, that she just didn't like Poppy due to Poppy being a Gypsy and her magic wise was strong as her own. Marty just doesn't seem like he could handle Poppy as well as Roy could. What made the author switch up them up like that, for the first time I didn't feel any chemistry for a character pairing, it just feels off and wrong to me, like actors in a movie or sitcom wrongly paired with no umph-factor. Like when I watch Korean or Chinese dramas the no lip kissing as if there surprised this person is close to them at all never mind their lips are touching, just plain dead. Author, love the series but the romantic aspect left me sad. Though Wanda and Larcan are great with their interactions and Wanda right her need to be with him.
A terrific story of possession featuring Fifi. She is seeing someone no one else can see. Then she discovers Angelo can see her too! Is this some kind of ghost? And she meets a man who is possessed by a demon; an incubus! Why did this happen to him? Is there a way to free him? Other than an exorcism, which will probably kill him? The answers are in this excellent book. Highly recommended.
But no spoilers from me! This is a great series, well written and I really liked this episode. Fifi and Roy are the main focus in this instalment and even though not everything went as I would have expected, or even wanted, it somehow turned out better than I ever thought! But I did feel just a tiny bit of a struggle to get into it, at the start. It’s worth it though!!!
Art Deco Apparitions: A Paranormal Women's Fiction Novel: (Hallowed Homes) (Haven Hollow Book 14)
I am so ❤️❤️❤️ loving Fifi and Roy. It’s about time.. I love Poppy & Marty. Fifi and Roy are explosive! The story behind the possession and haunting is intriguing and sad. Angelo is growing a little as a character. Now, I’m hoping for Wanda & Lorrcan to have a HEA❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 I love ❤️ this series so much… wish I could live there, lol 😂 I definitely recommend this book/ series…
I don't want to spoil anything, so I'm not going to say too much. I absolutely loved this installment. I always liked Fifi and want her to finally find her true love so bad lol This is more my kind of story finally. There is finally some adult action & it was perfect to this story.
I can't wait to read the next book in this series #15
This was unlike anything I had read before expect for being familiar with the majority of the characters. I enjoyed how the story progressed as did the characters. I advise to fully understand the main characters of the story and their previous relationships you should read all of the Haven Hollow books in order.
I really liked this book, I love the characters, you get to know them better with each book. Haven Hollow is a village full of weird and wonderful paranormal people plus a few humans. They try not to let the humans are the paranormal but sometimes the humans have a little paranormal in them. I can't wait to read the next books.
I've loved the other Haven Hollow books but this one just feels incomplete. The ending is anti-climactic. There's the build up and then nothing, a couple of paragraphs of "they said this happened". And no true resolution between the main love interests. I was disappointed and left with questions.
Fifi has a mystery on her hands with the prospective sale of a home. There is such a strong depressive darkness residing inside it that it is difficult to even think when you’re inside. She wants to figure out exactly what is going on but she keeps running into blocks.
Interesting book. Great writing, good characters and new characters too. The mystery was intriguing and interesting. But this book wasn't a favourite for me. Good book just not for me.
I am loving Fifi and Roy. I must admit I was distraught when Poppy and Roy broke up. They just seemed stable. Now I realize they were just that, stable. Fifi and Roy are explosive! The story behind the possession and haunting is intriguing and sad. Angelo is growing on me as a character.
This installment is all about Fifi and a sudden appearance from a new ghost... also.....we FINALLY get farther into the Roy/Fifi relationship and Geez Louise is it scorching! I love the direction these two are heading! This series never disappoints!
This was an entertaining, well-written book. It was fun, fast-paced and held my attention. This book is #14 in the Haven Hollow series, though it can be read as a standalone story. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more books in this series as well as others by these authors.
This book was so good! Fast paced, well written & interesting story. I love FIFi & I’m glad we got a chance to hear more of her story. And the cliffhanger!! Oh my! I can’t wait to see what comes next!
All buildup and flat ending. Not up to your usual good story. Disappointed this time.
Started out good...just fell flat nothing happened other then a couple ridiculous sex encounters. Maybe this series is done and Should have a lackluster ending as well.
Fifi and Angelo are the only ones who can see a female spirit and she wants to get into a particular house. Can they find out why and help her? What's the next step with Fifi and Roy? It was a good addition to the series
While I love these books I feel like they would be even better if there was some more progression between couples. I'd love to see how they interact as couples while solving all of their supernatural problems.
I loved this book. I am loving Fifi and we are finally getting somewhere with her love life. I just love the hollow ... Makes me wish my small town was like this lol. Another great book!
Wonderful series!!! Fifi is back with an installment about Hallowed Homes Realty. You get to find out more with the other characters, and you get to see/read a description of the Hearse!!! ( I actually had to look up photos!!!! ) A 1939 Cadillac Hearse!!!!
I almost marked this as DNF early on since listening to this with Virtual Voice was lack luster at best. I’m glad I found the ebook version to give it another try. Cute story line that was able to be read alone (part of a few series) without much confusion.
Another fun read to add to the Hallow. Totally team Fifi and Roy. Hope we see more of them. Plus Angelo is totally growing on me. Hmm.. Who will move to the hollow next???
Love how this story ends, so many unexpected twists and turns just kept me guessing until the end. If you enjoy a good mystery you are going to love this book.
