Movie star Aiden Hunt is as arrogant as he is handsome. It also turns out that:
• He’s my stepbrother • We hate each other on sight • I have to move in with him, his twin brother, and their best friend
When my career goes up in flames, I have no choice but to call my estranged father. He gets me a job on the set of a movie, but there’s a catch. The stepbrothers I never wanted to meet work there, too.
Leading man Aiden Hunt is known as much for his good looks as the high-octane movies he makes. His twin, stunt double Tanner, has the same handsome features, but he’s as kind and warm as Aiden is aloof and cocky. Their best friend, Ford, is the fight coordinator, and his incredible combat skills attract me almost as much as his limber, muscular body.
The three men share a house while filming on location, and due to a shortage of hotel rooms, I'm forced to stay with them. It’s hard not to resent the twins who took my father away from me as a child. At least Ford makes me laugh and takes me under his wing, teaching me stunts and fighting techniques. Eventually, Tanner slips past my guard, too.
As for Aiden… he might be a jerk, but I discover that he knows pain, just like I do. We fight, we bicker, but maybe we’re more alike than I want to admit.
Nothing’s ever easy, though. My father carries a lot of weight on the set, and he’s opposed to me learning stunt work. He’ll be doubly horrified if he finds out about the bedroom stunts I've been perfecting with Ford and his stepsons.
Before filming ends, I need to know if I have a future with these three complicated men, or if we'll miss our chance at a Hollywood-style happy ending.

Hot and well written stepbrother & friend romance, just like I admire Stephanie Brother for this kind of stories. Besides being really ot the characters are well developed.

I really enjoyed reading this story. If you love a reverse harem story, then this is the story to read. I have enjoyed reading the other stories in this series and this one holds true to Stephanie Brothers standards. Veronica has escaped Tennessee from a career as an online influencer and flown to work on a movie set with her father who abandoned her when she was young to live with a new family. Then she meets her stepbrothers Aiden and Tanner and their best friend Ford, who also work on the movie set as well, only her stepbrothers are twins and one is a well known movie star. Aiden is everything she expected a movie star to be, Tanner his twin is the nicer of the two of them. Ronnie has a lot to work through in her head, but eventually she ends up with all three. There is a happily ever after for everyone.
I was given an advanced copy of this book to read and review with my honest and fair opinion.
Arc review I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.. Veronica (ronnie) moneno after her lively hood exploded she goes to her father who she's not seen since a kid where she meets her step brothers .this is a fantastic story I loved the characters and you get to be on a movie set.
Holy crap, a page turner that you can't put down. Stephanie Brother does not disappoint!! Who knew Aiden could be such a gentleman, Ford so caring and Tanner the charmer!!
This is book 3 in the roommates series. The characters all have unique personalities that make this story very enjoyable. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC.
I really liked all the characters in this book both the main characters and the supporting ones. I liked the overlap of cameo’s of previous books and the set up for the next one.
Ronnie’s character was so strong even dealing with betrayal and hurt from her childhood. The way the main male characters were portrayed as being best friends but so different all strong in their own ways.
Ronnie goes to connect with her father and to get away from her current life, she meets her two step-brothers Aiden and Tanner and their friend, Ford. Aiden is a movie star and Tanner his stunt double. She ends up staying with them and sparks fly between them. Ford is teaching her some stunt work and her father doesn’t like it. Will this get in the way of their budding new relationship. Fast-paced and steamy reverse harem read with sizzling scenes and an entertaining story. I liked it.
Ronnie needed to get away from her life and called her father who she hasn’t seen or spoken too in two decades. She flies out to see him and meets her two step brother Aiden and Tanner who are twins and Ford who is there friend. She never wanted to meet them she has a lot of pent up anger. As she works with them she becomes friends with Ford and Tanner is sweet but Aiden is a cocky jerk. The physical attraction between them all is intense. Ronnie doesn’t know where and what she’s doing. Great characters and storyline Highly recommended Amazing Book.
4.5 Stars I thought that this was a great book. I really liked Ronnie, Ford, Tanner, and Aiden together. The connection and chemistry is awesome between these 4. This is a really good slow burn with intense feelings but they do things slowly and become friends first. I really enjoyed the drama since it was hard to put this book down. I really enjoyed this book and I would recommend it and Ms. Stephanie as a great author.

But, sadly, this was an okay read, which I’ll take as a glass half full rather than half empty, if you please 🍻
SUMMARY
25 year old Veronica “Ronnie” has her life as a fitfluencer implode back in Tennessee, so she takes the one line she never wanted to use: contacting her estranged father Mac. With a father in the film industry, Ronnie flies out to dusty Utah to have a job and gather her bearings. But she hadn’t expected her stepbrothers to be gathered there as well.
Aiden and Tanner are identifical twins, but they aren’t identical in personality—or job description. Where Aiden is an asshole actor with a heart of gold, Tanner is the sweet down-to-earth stunt double. And where Aiden’s work ethic leads to frustration with his costar Sierra, Tanner’s work ethic leads to self-esteem issues in comparison to his brother.
Enter Ford, the last of the group and a brother to the twins and son of Mac in his own right. A stunt coordinator. A sweet man. An empathetic to the miseable Ronnie’s plot of not only having her life turned upside down but of being the forgotten daughter of a man who left her. ———————————————————— I think this book had a great premise and an okay execution, honestly.
I hadn’t read previous books, because I want that stepbro romance 😏 but this can be comfortably read as a stand alone.
HIGH POINTS
I very much enjoyed women 👏🏾 supporting 👏🏾 women 👏🏾.
Sierra is the blossoming actress set to be Aiden’s costar, but she and Aiden’s rocky history of Aiden (verbally) losing his temper after a number of flubbed scenes, causes some apprehension and tension. But rather than make Sierra become a villain, the author did a bang-up job of speaking on how women in Hollywood have a different and even more difficult path than men/masc people. Seeing Ronnie and the guys support Sierra was excellent 🥰
I also enjoyed that Ronnie wasn’t jealous of Sierra. There was honest admiration and friendship—as there should be!
I also like Kylie! She’s a bartender in a podunk town, who Ronnie meets, and they strike up a quick camaraderie. No notes!
Men 👏🏾 supporting 👏🏾 women
I enjoyed that Aiden, while rough around the edges, had the decency to acknowledge and support Sierra’s struggles. He wasn’t overtly misogynistic. None of the three men were. They all acknowledge that Hollywood is sexist and unfair. But when Sierra is confronted by a creepy assistant director for half-nudity, Aiden doesn’t fight her battles but he provides support and advice so she can fight her own. Stan 🪭
LOW POINTS
I’m not sure if the author is Latina or not. But she was a bit…colorist?
Like, you can be whatever color skin tone or hair color and still be Latina. This is nothing new. I’m Black. Not Latina. I get mistaken as Latina and my lita claims me as Afro-Latina 😂 But that’s the thing. Being Latin isn’t confined to a certain skin tone and hair color. I didn’t like how people kept equating that to Ronnie having tan skin and brown hair así que obviamente es latina, you know?
I also didn’t like how a lot of the interesting non-romantic dynamics between characters with trauma weren’t really fleshed out. The author slap-dashed Mac being a man who was using, and he just…talked. And then that was it, I guess. Tanner’s self-esteem issues came and went. And Ford didn’t really have any unique dynamics other than being around.
WHAT I WANTED
I wished for Ronnie to (1) stay with Sierra, AND (2) go back to see her brother and mother and confront them regarding Mac using.
I feel like Ronnie slotted into the lives of the guys very…easily. There was hardly communication outside of with Aiden that everyone was onboard with the arrangements. And Aiden is the typical “I don’t want her” MMC, which is why he gets so much development.
I wish Ronnie would have had an arc or so to process what Mac said. She could see her mother and brother, they have a conversation, and maybe she’s given an opportunity to return to her old life. Maybe the guys visit her in Tennessee to see where she grew up. They meet Ronnie’s brother, who is stiff towards them. Perhaps they meet Ronnie’s mother who finds them blameless. Ronnie can comfort her mother about the hardship her mother endured.
After that, Ronnie makes a decision: she’ll go with the guys, and she will be going low contact with Mac on a personal level, but she’ll keep it professional. Maybe Ronnie’s mother wrote Mac a letter to be delivered, or something, and Mac reads it, is quiet and tells Ronnie her mother was too good of a woman.
And then BAM!
We’re done 🥳
OVERALL
This book was an okay read. I rounded down since I feel like the book didn’t have the right emotional balance. I think the build up was nice and the external plot even more so. But the lack of deepening the dynamics outside of romance was a bit of a bummer, especially with how much was teased and not delivered.
I would recommend it as a stepbrother read, but, as Ronnie never knew her stepbrothers, the angst of “You’re my brother / No, I never was” isn’t there 😭

Ronnie had a successful career as a physical trainer and yoga teacher doing videos on the internet. Then one viewer lied and created a scandal featuring Ronnie and destroyed her life. Ronnie is ready to get away and start again new. She is desperate enough to ask for help from her father. Her father had walked away from her, her brother and mother and never came back. He even remarried a woman with two kids making Ronnie feel rejected and resentful. She has avoiding knowing anything about her dad and his new family since then. Her dad offers her a job on the movie set in Utah where he is the stunt cooridinator. The star of the fiilm is Aiden Hunt a famous action hero. Ronnie is torn between resenting her dad and appreciationg that he did come through for her when she asked. Her first night on the set, Mac her dad takes her out to dinner. To her surprise, Aiden and his twin brother Tanner are there as well as their friend Ford. She learns that not only is she eating with her dad but her twin stepbrothers too. To make things worse, her dad has arranged for her to stay with the three men while she is there. Ronnie feels very resentful.
Aiden, Tanner and Ford grew up together and were best friends. When the twins'mom remarried, Mac became a great father figure to all of them. Aiden however resented that his stepfather kept talking about his little princess and isn't happy to be sharing a house with her, She also reminds hi of his co-star who is driving him nuts. As a result he treats Ronnie pretty rudely. Tanner the other twin is his brother's stunt double. Even though Ronnie resented him at first, his kindness and friendliness wins her over. Ford their friend saved her life when she arrived on the set and just the fact he isn't related to her makes her appreciate him. The more time the three spend together, the more the sparks fly. Ronnie learns that she can't hate her stepbrothers and dad forever and sometimes a foursome can be really awesome.
Heavy on the Smexy Fun....did not connect with the story
Stunt Doubled is the third book in the Roommates series. This RH story takes the readers to Hollywood with Ronnie and what turns out will be her three men, twins Aiden and Tanner Hunt and their best friend Ford. The men are sharing a house and when Ronnie needs a job she ends up living with them also. This story has a h who needs to get away from her life for a while and ends up turning to the father she has not spoken to or seen for over two decades. He gets her a job and a place to live which introduces her to her stepbrothers and their best friend. The three men all work together in Hollywood, with Aiden a movie star, Tanner his stunt double and Ford a stunt and fight coordinator. Can anyone say testosterone overload with three drool worthy sexy men. I mean what is a girl to do but relax and find some fun.
This book is smexy overload with lot of tension, chemistry, and sizzle. The story-line was okay but not exactly what I was expecting given the length of the book. I found myself skimming over chunks of the story because it did not quite hold my interest all the time. It was still an okay/good story, just did not click with me like other books by Stephanie Brothers have.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own and I know that other readers will love this book. So if you are a fan of the author already then definitely read this book and make up your own mind. But if you are new to this author then I would suggest first reading the two previous books, which are completely unrelated other than being RH stories also.
Stunt Doubled was an entertaining and steamy read with a fun premise and a solid relationship build-up. I really enjoyed the overall plot—it was unique and engaging, especially the behind-the-scenes world of stunts and film that added a fresh twist to the reverse harem genre.
The chemistry between the characters was definitely there, and I liked how the relationships developed gradually rather than rushing into instant love or lust. However, I couldn’t help but feel like something was missing. The story had a lot of potential for emotional depth, especially around the main character’s family background, but that part felt a bit underdeveloped. I would’ve loved more context about her past and how that shaped her, which would’ve made her connections with the guys even more powerful.
The pacing also felt a little uneven—everything seemed to come together all at once near the end, rather than unfolding naturally throughout the book. A little more relationship building and background earlier on would’ve made the payoff even more satisfying.
Still, it was a fun and spicy read that kept me turning pages, and I’m definitely interested in reading more from this series and author. If you’re into slow-burn RH with a unique twist and a dose of action, this one’s worth picking up.
1/4 star deducted for unanswered question and one section where Tanner’s and Aiden’s names were switched in the middle of an interaction with Ronnie. Otherwise this is another hit in the Roommates series. The emotional tension enhances the sexual tension before, during, and after the physical encounters. My e reader was smoking after Ronnie and Aiden got together. I missed a more complete account of all of them together where Tanner had a more prominent role. The unanswered questions came from wanting to learn more about Mac’s backstory and his relationships with the other men that led to the current situation. The criticisms are really just nits in a really great book.
This is my favorite series by Stephanie that I have read. I would be thrilled to see the series extended in a similar way beyond Serena’s story. This book and the entire series are highly recommended. Yes, each is a standalone book, but reading the books in order provides context that explains the connections to “minor” characters (from the earlier books).
Ronnie got her book and her men! At a crossroads in her life Ronnie contacted her estranged father after her world blew up with an internet scandal. She moved to Utah where Mac was on set filming a movie and was in the presence of her father who left her and her mom and brother two decades earlier. She ended up staying in the house that her twin step-brothers (whom she had never met before) and their best friend were staying in as there were no hotels close by in the desert location they were at. One twin was the lead in the film, his twin was the stunt double and the best friend was the stunt coordinator.
It was a bit of a rocky start, but the four of them found ways to get over the way they were thrown together and learned to care for each other. I fully enjoyed the athletic prowess Ronnie had and the fact that she wanted to train with Ford on stunts and use her kick ass female power for good.
Another fun book in this series. Looking forward to the next two as well.
This started out really good but it just amounted to.. nothing. While I can accept that she just happens to start having sex with Ford and Tanner I cannot accept how quickly she accepts her attraction to Adrian. The build up with the ”fake sex scene” was so good and then they just have a short conversation and have a FADE TO BLACK sex scene????? The last 70 pages or so have enough information for a whole new book, and the ending was just plain weird, there were never any real conflict, and she just goes with them without even thinking about it? Also the reason she left her hometown… While believable that it happened, it was not believable that it was enough to just make her quit her career. Or like, delete your online presence I guess, but why did you have to leave town? The people who spread hate were online trolls, not people who actually lived there. But I digress. It was a shame that the romance was so badly executed because the premise was there.

Fun, quick read but it felt like it was missing something.
Written in quadruple first person POV, although the majority is from Ronnie’s (female MC) POV. Only a few M/F/M, M/F, M/F/M/M sexy times (no M/M interactions). The plot was simple and there weren’t really any obstacles to overcome. It was boring at times. While the twins are Ronnie’s stepbrothers, the three didn’t grow up together so that didn’t bother me. Honestly not a fan of twins in a relationship even if there’s no touching between the two. The 4-person relationship was fine but I felt like the book just kind of skipped to the end. The first epilogue was part of the HFN/HEA but the second one only set up the next book. Overall, I’m glad that I borrowed it from KU and I’ll probably continue with the series.
Ronnie (Veronica) has gone to her estranged father to ask for help. Her career has just imploded and she has nowhere else to go. She ends up in the desert on a movie set with the hottest guy as a star. What she finds out is that he is her stepbrother. And his twin. And their best friend who is treated as one of the brothers is there also. And they are all hot, hot, hot. She gets on well with Tanner (one of the twins) and Ford, the best friend. But not so much with Aiden, the hot movie star. Ronnie also finds it very difficult with her father as he left her, her brother, and her mother when she was young and started another family very quickly. Will things turn out for Ronnie? Will things sort themselves out with Aiden? And what will happen betwen the three of them? Thoroughly enjoyed this story.
Ronnie is on the run from her life - she is an online personality and the public turned on her so she picked up and ran. Aiden and Tanner are her step-brothers she has never met and Ford is their best friend. Ronnie's dad gets her a job on his latest movie production where Aiden is the star, Tanner the stunt double and Ford the stunt coordinator. Ronnie hates the guys at first, mostly because of her relationship with her father. Tanner and Ford are able to get her to open up and they form a friendship and eventually she gives in to Aiden as well. I have to admit I had a hard time with this book, it dragged a bit for me because there was no big plot or drama to dive into. There was some steam but not a lot of that either.

Not until she arrives does she find out she will be staying in the house rented for Aiden Hunt the star of the movie along with his twin Tanner his stunt double plus their best friend Ford the fight director. She still resents the twins and their mother for taking her father from her when she was a little girl but soon she finds herself getting to know them. I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is a rh romance between Ronnie, Aiden, Tanner and Ford. Ronnie has contacted her estranged father about work. She is not happy about it but it is what it is at this point. To add insult to injury she leaves her family and finds herself dealing with the stepbrothers she resents. Their friend Ford is a friendly face thru it all. Things are complicated from the first meeting. They learn that there is a lot more below the surface than any of them expected. Thru the conflict, Ronnie feels there is also attraction there. The guys grow closer to her but it takes some opening up. Her father could become a problem for them all though. This was a good story with a lot of build up between them.

When Ronnie is desperate for a job, she turns to her estrange father for help. He gets her one spot on a movie he is working on the only problem is her stepbrothers are working in it as well. When she can't find a place to stay, she ends up sharing a place with Ford, Aiden and Tanner. Its not long before the three men have worked their way past her walls. Will they find something more while working together? Will her father come between them?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I enjoyed this romance story with all of the characters. The main characters were Ronnie, Aiden, Tanner and Ford.
Ronnie goes to see her father in Utah and to work with him. Her father work on a movie production set. They have been filming in Utah. But when she meets her father he introduces her to her new stepbrother's and a friend. She finds out that she will be stay with her stepbrother's and there friend until the movie is done filming.
Aiden is a movie star. Tanner is a stunt double And Ford is fight coordinator.
This was a fun story to read. It had action, secrets, and drama throughout. It also had a few laughable moments to.
I received a complimentary copy via Booksprout. This is my honest unbiased opinions.
I thought that this was a fun read. I really feel for Ronnie and can totally get her feelings. And the shocker surprise that Mac dumped on her! The chemistry between Ronnie, Aiden, Ford and Tanner is sizzling hot. I especially loved the meet cute between Ford and Ronnie! This book had a fun story line and the characters were pretty well developed. Ronnie is such a strong and kick butt character and loved how she interacts with everything. I found this book entertaining and very enjoyable to read.
I received a free advanced review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my fair and honest opinion.
This is the first book I’ve read by this author and it won’t be the last! Her characters are well developed and the storyline is intriguing, entertaining and emotional. Veronica contacts her father after two decades of limited contact to start her life fresh. She meets her step brothers Aiden and Tanner who are twins and their best friend Ford. Tanner and Ford are sweet and engage her in conversation and their plans while Aiden is a cocky jerk to her. Ronnie has so much pent-up anger at her father for abandoning her and starting a new family that Aiden’s attitude grates on her. The chemistry is off the charts between the four of them but can they all work out?
Stunt Doubled is the third book of this authors Roommates series and it just as entertaining as the previous two !!
This story follows Ronnie as she embarks on a temp job on a movie set given to her by her estranged father. She is given no choice in her lodgings which she must share a house with her step brothers and thier best friend who she just met. Shinnanigans ensues and they all fall for each other. I enjoyed the witty banter that happens between the four main characters and the story kept me captivated.

Ronnie's story is what you could call a slow burn with an interesting build-up to it. She's not had any contact with her estranged dad for a very long time but when she needs to get away, make a new start she decides to contact him and try to rebuild their relationship. Her dad is happy to hear from her and arranges a job for her. When she arrives at her new home she meets three hot men, two of whom are her stepbrothers and twins, the other is their friend. There was an instant attraction between the four, which they decide to act on. Each guy is different even the twins and I liked their interaction and how they all spent time getting to know each other.
