Finally a Review
I've read every one the books in this series about Virgil Jones and Murton Wheeler but I never wrote a review for any of the 13 books in the series.
The stories have a similar premise to them and there are a lot of liberties taken. Violence is common as well as death but everything is connected. What prompted me to write this review is that I realize how easy this series is to read and how much I enjoy the stories.
If you like action and borderline fantasy you need to check out the adventures of Jonesy and Murton plus the cast of many that are their spouses, friends and more who make up a huge extended family that keep law and order with a wink and a nod.

Another fantastic read
Mr. Scott has done it again by writing this riviting and suspenseful book. I have read all of his books, including Wayward Strangers, and all I can say is when is the next one? This book answered many questions and the action, with a little humor thrown in, kept me glued to each page wanting to see how it ended but not wanting to have it end. Koodos to Mr. Scott and thank you for another enjoyable read.

Another intense and gripping saga of Virgil Jones and the people in his life.

Just another great story !!
This one had a lot of twists and turns and the introduction of about a dozen new characters. Enough at least that I was kept guessing what would happen to them. What a fantastic read ! I recommend that you read this book as it has all the entertainment you could ask for.
From Death to Dreams to Grenades to The Governor Working Under Cover, this book HAS IT ALL !!

The thrill of A wonderful series continues.
The characters in the Virgil Jones series all fit together remarkably. It will be fun to read the next book and find out how the story line continues. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a solid mystery, great characters mixed with comic interventions.

Good Read
Virgil and the gang together again. Need I say more. If you have never read any of this series by Thomas Scott then you have missed a real treat. Looking forward to their next adventure and mystery. Do yourself a favor and pick one up. If you are like me, you will not put them down untill you have read them all.

These novels never get old. They just feel like reminiscing with an old friend
Since I have read every word of every book in the Virgil Jones novel. I hope to be able to read about the family so that when Jonas grows up he will follow in the footsteps of his father co continue the Saga.

another SCOTT WINNER
Love reading SCOTTS’S books some of them are similar but all of them are interesting , the lead characters are in his stories… but not in all of them, I like the story lines which change but have the love, hate and always fun along with death and wanting to keep turning pages!

THIS IS THE 13TH BOOK I'VE READ IN THE SERIES I HAVE THEM ALL ON MY KINDLE. SINCE MR. SCOTT IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE AUTHORS, I READ HIS BOOKS AS A SPECIAL TREAT FOR ME. I LOVED THIS ONE TO IT HAD ME SMH AMAZING. HOW HE CAN WRITE A STORY AND STILL MAKE ME GET SO EXCITED WHEN I READ IT UP TO THE VERY END OF THE BOOK. I LOVE THIS SERIES. ;D

Exciting as always!!

state of mind
I would recommend this book to everybody. I absolutely love the Virgil Jones series & all of the characters in these books. I’m always hooked from start to finish & look forward to book 14.
