The holidays are upon Magnolia Cove and Pepper has lots of plans. Number one, make Grumpy a girlfriend. Number two, capture Santa Claus. Wait--number two is definitely not on the list. But when a man falls from a sleigh, no one doubts that he's Saint Nick. Well, no one but Pepper, that is. Because the thing is, she doesn't believe in Santa Claus.
As if that wasn't bad enough, Saint Nick has amnesia. It's up to the folks in Magnolia Cove to restore his memory and save Christmas. But can they? And will Pepper discover that there is a Santa Claus after all, or will she be a Scrooge?
Hey, I’m Amy, I write books for folks who crave laugh-out-loud paranormal mysteries. I help bring humor into readers’ lives. I’ve got a Pharm D in pharmacy, a BA in Creative Writing and a Masters in Life. And when I’m not writing or chasing around two small children (one of which is four going on thirteen), I can be found antique shopping for a great deal, getting my roots touched up (because that’s an every four week job) and figuring out when I can get back to Disney World. If you’re dying to know more about my wacky life, here are three things you don’t know about me. —In college I spent a semester at Marvel Comics working in the X-Men office. —I worked at Carnegie Hall. —I grew up in a barbecue restaurant—literally. My parents owned one. If you want to reach out to me—and I love to hear from readers—you can email me at amyboylesauthor@gmail.com. Happy reading!
So many out of character things happened regarding me and this installment of our dearly beloved Sweet Tea Witches. First and foremost I usually never ever read Christmas novels, even if they are an important installment in a series I’m reading. Second of all I very rarely am I touched and get physically emotional because of a plot, and lastly it’s against my nature to read a series with this many installments. At every turn The Sweet Tea Witches keep proving me wrong and leave me wanting more every time I finish one. These books are written with such sweet wit, fierce heart, and always have joy and comfort in the forefront. I feel like Christmas in Magnolia Cove was one of the most emotionally magical books I’ve read in this series. In this installment we really see Pepper’s previous life with mortals clash with her current life. In our world Santa is a made up thing we tell children to get them excited for Christmas. Well, you should already very well know that in Magnolia Cove Santa Claus can’t just be a myth! A mysterious man crash lands out of the sky in Magnolia Cove about three days before Christmas! Now everyone and their mother is pretty convinced that this man is Santa, but there is one non believer in the bunch! This story really takes us on a journey of growth and belief. We see Pepper as a vulnerable child back with her mortal father grieving for her lost mother. We also get to see Pepper create a friend for Grumpy, but that journey becomes so much more. I feel like the theme of this entire book was to believe and do better. It was so beautiful and uplifting I was so sad when it was over. For the first time in a very long time I had tears in my eyes because the end of this installment was just so lovely. I’ve become so incredibly close to these characters as they grow I feel like I grow with them. You don’t really need to read the entire series to enjoy this book. There is enough background for any reader to catch on quickly. If you are just craving a really quality Christmas story this is such a wonderful story to satiate your wants and needs!
It’s Christmas in Magnolia Cove, Y’all and Santa is here. Well, Nick anyway. St Nick has bumped his noggin and gotten himself amnesia. Oh dear. And Pepper could care less because St Nick is just a regular wizard pretending he delivers presents once a year. There’s no Santa! However, Pepper is the only person that doesn’t believe in him.
But Pepper does believe she needs to make a mate for Grumpy her ogre, so she orders clay in order to mold a female for her favorite ogre. Axel helps her make a golem, but the golem is nothing but sad because she wants to be real. No magic can make her real… but the evil Alma Ray sure tries to pull Aurora (The golem) to her side to do her bidding. Alma Ray tells Aurora she can make her real, but Aurora must give Alma her very soul.
In the meantime, Nick is still memoryless, but kids automatically flock to him asking for presents for Christmas. It’s like the kids just know who Santa is. Nick plays along with the game. Pepper continues to not believe in him. Sigh. I kept thinking that maybe all Nick needs in order to get his memory back is to have Pepper believe in him.
All in all, Aurora’s dreams come true, Pepper stops being such a negative witch, Alma Ray… well, she continues to be herself, but my hope is that Christmas magic warms her heart, and Nick gets the help he’s needed. All is kosher in Magnolia Cove.
Next is book 23 of 28 in the Sweet Tea Witch Mysteries - “Southern Enchanted”.

Cute Christmas read that let's you check in on the Magnolia Cove crew. Loved and recommend it.
This is an entertaining paranormal cozy mystery series. A great cast of characters and a fun and entertaining storyline. Once again Pepper and the whole gang is running around town trying to get things done to set up for Christmas. Pepperhas her familiar shop and a new baby Among a few other things uniquely happening in their magical town. Then lo and behold Santa Claus makes an appearance. Not going to give you any other spoilers than that. See if they can save Christmas. Go read it.
I love these books. The Sweet Tea Witch series is one of my all time favorites and I look forward to each new installment. This one didn't let me down. It was fun and heartfelt. It contained just enough Christmas charm to make me go awwww while still being amusing. Pepper had a couple of lessons to learn and she learned them well.
I absolutely love Amy Boyles' books! They are well written with wonderful characters like Pepper, Axel, Betty and baby Gizzy! She can write an enchanting story that keeps you glued to the book until the end. I loved this Christmas story and not only what happened with Pepper but with Aurora as well. Please read this series you won't regret it!
Pepper really dug her heels in on the Santa bing a myth. This book was so fun. Everyone seemed to know about Santa but Pepper. I wondered why she was so adamant. She didn't want to believe. I think perhaps a lot of children have similar wishes they are disappointed when they don't come true. I'm looking forward to the next story.
I love this series and most all the different characters. This was a story filled with twists and turns that kept me guessing until the end. I wii say that if Alma goes missing, I don't think anyone will miss her. Hint hint.
In this book by Amy Boyles Pepper learns that Santa is real and she makes Grumpy a friend. As with Pepper things don't turn out like she expects. I love this series and can't wait to read the rest of the series.
Southern Holiday (Sweet Tea Witch Mysteries Book 22
This was another winner. I highly recommend all Amy Boyles books and all the different series. They are all great. She has a wonderful imagination and great characters. Once I start a book I can't put it down. Diana Romano
Pepper and Axe make a golem to be a companion for Grumpy, and a man who looks like Santa Claus falls out of a flying sleigh and can not remember who he is. The book resolves these issues.
Another amazing story from Any Boyles. It even brought a year to my cynical eyes. A rare thing indeed. I am very much looking forward to the next book.
Look out Christmas there's a new couple new characters bring Intrigue and chaos. I recommend this to anyone wanting a quick fun read that keeps you guessing.
Fun entertaining book with twist! Another enjoyable read from the Sweet Tea Witch Mysteries Books. Have enjoyed them all. On to the next one with anticipation!
