Pace and Isabella have a fabulously dark read which comes together in the most perfect of ways. Pace is deliciously swoonworthy and a total bad boy with the soft underbelly. Isabella is a sheltered heroine with a tragic backstory. How these two come together creates for an epic read not for the soft hearted and places the reader in a dark world. I felt this book was a great read with perfect amount of details that kept me entertained and connected to the story.

This book definitely has triggers, so keep that in mind. It is a very dark book with violence. Pace comes across Isabel and that all he needs. She needs a savior and Pace is the man for the job. They don’t have it easy. But this was a good, dark book.

His Solace is the perfect example of just why K.L Donn is not only a queen when it comes to writing pretty much any trope in romance, but of why she also happens to be one of my all time favorite authors . I can honestly and genuinely say that there has literally never been a book I’ve read by her that I have not utterly adored .Dark , raw ,gritty , suspenseful ,intriguing, heartbreaking, heartfelt, second chances, twists and turns, sad , tragic , romantic, dramatic, steamy, emotionally charged , wonderfully written characters that are so unique, so likable, relatable, captivating and very multi layered, a storyline that is guaranteed to make you feel so many different emotions while keeping you on the edge or your seat in anticipation of What will happen next . And it will definitely keep you up reading well into the early morning hours so put plenty of time aside . If I had to choose 4 words to best describe this phenomenal book they would definitely be unforgettable, unputdownable, emotional rollercoaster and masterpiece

Be warned. There is plenty of righteous taking out of trash in these pages. Men and women alike who should be among the most holy and the safest haven for the innocent have been found to be some of the most sadistic, depraved, evil beings around, and Pace is here to right many wrongs. He just isn’t expecting Isabel also. And he falls hard. Isabel falls just as hard in return, but these two need to make it through the evil surrounding them before they can have their HEA. Luckily, Pace is relentless in his mission. Isabel is strong and knows he’s coming for her. And even with all of the secrets that come out, the other monsters to be slayed, and the knowledge that Isabel could be truly alone in the world, their story is a beautiful one. Yeah, it’s a bit dark. And messy. But still, any time two souls find their mates, it’s a good story to tell.

Now I wonder if we’ll see more of Daia and Benny? I hope we do.

Pace and Isabella, holy cow, hot from the minute they meet despite each of their own damage. The things that Pace has seen and done combined with the things that have been done to Hannah, the drama these two damaged souls coming together brings is definitely entertaining. I love how the whole family works together to save the mother and children. This fast paced thrilling drama is definitely a page turner that will have you hooked from the beginning.
I Loved the conversation between Pace’s Dad and Isabella about her becoming part of the family! This is an awesome read, that you won’t want to put down once you start reading. K. L. Donn has delivered another phenomenal read.

Her Savior

I can’t get enough of this series and these characters. Can’t help but being sucked into this world where these Alpha men, who never pictured themselves settling down, only to find their one, their reason for being, and doing whatever it takes to not only claim but to keep and protect their women. That was no different with Pace and Isabel.
From the moment Pace saw Isabel he was her savior her protector he would do whatever it took to claim her for himself. Isabel couldn’t help but fall for Pace, who wouldn’t when oh see yourself as shattered and broken and all he sees is perfection. These two were definitely made for each other and deserve the HEA that they make for each other. Definitely need the next book in this series ASAP!!!

Not sure where to start with this review there were definitely certain parts I loved and a few parts that didn't really work for me personally. I really loved pace as the male character but for some reason I couldn't connect with Isabel. I think with Isabel for me it just needed a bit more. They're definitely are some trigger warnings so if you have any make sure you check. Even though there are trigger warnings I personally did not think this was a very dark book. I do think Pace's character is very dark with all the blood and murder. Overall I didn't enjoy the book I only gave it four stars because I prefer to have a bit more action and/or storyline with the characters felt a bit rushed to me.

Oh my word, Pace is every bit of book boyfriend you'd ever want. He's deliciously sexy and amazing, he has this darkness inside him that calls out to you and you don't have a choice but to follow. With Pace meeting Isabel, all bets are off! He met his other half, his one, his soulmate. Nothing and no one will stand in his way, author KL Donn knew exactly what she was doing when she came up with Mafia Made series. These characters are very memorable, readers I suggest you read this book but I'll cautioned you, this book is very dark, but you won't regret it.

I devoured Pace and Isabel’s story. As in, I couldn’t put it down and nothing could get in the way of me reading this book. So freaking good! I love this family. Pace is brutal in all ways and yet so incredibly sweet and loving - in the ways that Isabel needs. Isabel is sweet, naive, and innocent after being traumatized for far too long. She is the perfect match for Pace (as he is for her). This book is dark and delicious and steamy and oh so good!

I always want more of this author's characters. I love them, even their darkness. "Perfection" is a word that Pace uses for Isabel. In killing, he has found his forever. It's a dark story, but at the same time, it's absolution. It's about who you choose for your family, not the one that you are born with. I love these characters, and especially Santi's welcome to the family talk. Loved the epilogue.

What an intense read! Pace is a protector, is very intense, and nothing holds him back. Isabel has been in a bad place for a long time yet there's a fire inside of her. The two of them are pulled together and boy oh boy... Their story mixes darkness, two people that connect on a different level and the need to set things right. The pages flipped quickly and kept me involved!

This book hits the ground running from the first page. I couldn't put down this page turner. Dark, gritty, action packed, and a touch of suspense, these are a few things I liked about this story. Loved the instant connection with the H and h too, they're like a flame drawn to a candle; perfectly compliment one another. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this. It's a must read that delivers an excellent story. I'd recommend this.

What a wild, violent journey to happy ever after! Pace finds his girl in the last place he thought he would, on a job. While surprised to find himself feeling things he thought were impossible, he doesn't hesitate to take his love to safety. He then takes care of the trash, so to speak and it was glorious! Isabel calms his demons and he vanquishes hers. He is so intense but Isabel sees his darkness and knows she has found her home, 6 stars!

Oh my what a deliciously dark and wonderful book by Kl Donn! I was excited for this book as we dive back into the dark and at times heartbreaking world of The Cardelli’s. This well written mafia book had me hooked from the start and I devoured it. Once again KL has delivered a five star read. I received this book as an arc for my honest opinion.

I am not a huge fan of mafia books just because they are usually pretty violent and I don't usually agree with that BUT I was all in on the violence in this book!! I absolutely agreed with the main character being violent in this book and I am sur you will feel the same once you read this book!!

Pace and Isabel’s story was dark and unsettling at times, but they were made for each other. Excellent writing as usual.

This book is a little darker, and would recommend to readers to read the warnings before reading to make sure it’ll be a good fit for you.
