In the Coleman and Milton family sagas, it is now the present day and our story begins like the one a century and a half ago (Holiday Hope book #1) with Trace rescuing Kali from a certain accident. In the beginning it was Jace rescuing Cora Lee in a similar manner. So, there is a certain amount of Deja Vu here and also a little Christmas magic! Kali Hoyt, the cousin of Trace Coleman's best friend, Matt, returns to Holiday, her favorite place, to direct the Holiday Historical Society and preserve the Coleman family legacy. Trace is the current CEO of Coleman Enterprises. Neither wants anything to do with the marriage game but love, fate and a jolly old man named "Nick" have other ideas. The initial problem begins when both Kali and Trace feel that tug of affection between them but Trace is Kali's boss and there is a "no fraternizing" policy in place. What to do? There are sly and clever ways in and around this and these two cannot stay away from each other. The author's Holiday Brides series melds into this series and beware the reader who has not read this series yet as there are a somewhat bewildering group of names inserted throughout this romance. Fear not, the full throttle romance between Kali and Trace stands out and the resurrecting of the ancient locomotive engine named "Hope," that is front and center throughout the entire series, is not to be missed. If this romance all seems a bit convoluted and confusing it is not. Rather there is just so much entertainment going on in this final episode.
