The year is 2023, no human has ventured beyond the solar system yet something mysterious from the deep space is making every scientist pull their hair. The Voyager 1 in deep space is transmitting data in verses asking for an ancient Tatva otherwise it's the end of the past and the future. The whole planet is on high alert. As global leaders scramble to decipher the code, a team of treasure hunters, a language and religion professor, a young scientist from ISRO and a Russian mafia are all set to correct the world order.

The Vimana Transcript is an exhilarating adventure of uncovering an ancient mystery and saving the world from the approaching apocalypse. This book is a work of genius, a beautiful craftsmanship in the world of mystery, the amalgamation of hindu mythology and sci-fi made this book stand out. A wonderfully penned scifi, mystery, adventure with meticulously woven plots peppered with perfect dose of thrill. From cover to cover it's jam-packed with anticipation, the curiosity of discovering the unknown is so high it almost makes you jumpy with excitement.

Writing style is good with an wonderful narration and the language has been kept very simple and lucid. In the middle however the hullabaloo of the characters and the plot made no sense, it felt unnecessary and it kept going haywire but soon caught up with the main story. This book left me with many questions though, why the transcripts was so cryptic, why not direct and so on (thanks to my inner amateur sleuth). Definitely a page turner for me, beginners can go for this book.

Cryptic messages from the space, probable alien attack, treasure hunters, Russian mobsters, and so much in this action packed thriller.

The Vimana Transcripts is well written with so many suspense elements to keep the reader hooked toll the last page. Fast paced with the plot growing thicker as the characters chase their clues and fight against all the odds. There's also a budding romance which you'll love amidst the chaos.

Regarding the mythology, there's so much facts and myths there and the descriptive way it's written makes it all very interesting to read. As a fan of such genre, I found the book to be well constructed.

Overall, an entertaining read.

The story starts with Veda, the chairman of ISRO. His subordinate called him to inform him that, they have received a message from interstellar space.

Now it is quite surreal. Only Voyager-1 & 2 are there. But how could they transfer a message?

But the thing is other countries also have received that message. In India, it's in Hindi and English.

They all start to dig deep. In the message, there are two words- Vimana and Tatva.

As the story goes on it's found that the Earth is in danger and only a Tatva can save the world!

Apart from technical elements, a part of Indian mythology and even some historical sites are mentioned. Some of them even exist. The author has mentioned that.

It's a Sci-fi + Thriller. Fast-paced. There are some actions and whatnot!

The Vimana Transcripts by Vadhana is a gripping story to the end. The book is an intriguing read. When I read the blurb, I thought that it was a sci-fi book about traveling to space but the book is so much more. The plot is around the transcript. The character description of the protagonist is done beautifully.

The cover of the book is apt for the storyline. This book indeed is a great choice for all who love adventures.

Thanks to the author for providing me a review copy in exchange for an honest review.

A tantalizing atmosphere, with gripping narrative and exuberant diction.

Vimana Transcripts is a work of Mythological Fiction that is certain to keep the readers bouncing on the edge of their seats. The fascinating cast of characters entwined with the biggest of the mysteries buried on the Indian subcontinent had me flipping the pages of this book in turbo mode. The story hooked me from the get go and only became better with each chapter.

The execution was phenomenal and the third person narration was perfect to add the depth and mystique that the book demanded. Full disclosure, I’ve always been obsessed with the mysteries of the Padmanabhaswamy temple and that became the sole reason why I prioritized reading this book. The finesse with which the author has woven different aspects of the tale together is commendable and pretty rare in such a genre.

Very occasionally do I read books in a single sitting, especially one that surpass the 200-page mark. But, Vimana Transcripts was a pleasant aberration. The challenges and hurdles faced by our protagonists are so visceral that it is easy to forget it is hinting at some real-life theories. The author has expertly blended mythological and philosophical details into the story, creating a vivid and engrossing tale that is both educational and speculative.

I would recommend this book for fans of Mythological Fiction and Agnibaan in particular.

This book has a lot of glowing reviews on Amazon as well as goodreads, so I picked it up with a lot of promise. Tbh, it is a very good read and I finished it in no time. However, it does have a lot of irritants as well.

I think the biggest strength as well as weakness of the book is that the author has combined a lot(too many?) of genres. Mythology, fantasy, action, adventure, sci-fi- there are elements of everything in it. While the mythological journey is quite insightful and brilliant, the writing becomes extremely clichéd and amateur when it comes to action/tactical scenes. Something as basic as getting the ranks of CRPF officers mixed up with Indian Army could have been avoided with even a simple Google search. And the repetitive hostage and rescue sequences between the same set of people were laughable. The Intelligence Bureau was made to look extremely stupid as well.

Thankfully, by the half way mark, the plot focuses more on the core issue of the novel- demystifying a strange communication sent from deep space via the Voyager to earth in all major languages. The wild goose chase takes us on a journey through Ellora Caves, Srirangam temple and the Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple. Meanwhile, while all this is happening, an extinction level event is imminent. The finale was good though it left a lot of answers to the reader's imagination/interpretation/beliefs.

If you like Amcient Aliens, you'll like this novel as well. In fact, it could have been one of the best mythological fiction/fantasy novels if the author/editor been a bit more prudent. Nevertheless, it's still worth a try.

3.5/5 .

I have read the description of this book and picked it up to read. Really, this book never missed to enthral me and hooked me with the end.

This is the first book in science fiction I have read. I have exclaimed throughout the novel by its hunting secrets. How the protagonist Vikram Rathod is going to find the answers to all the secrets and did he save the world or not?

If the earth met like these such a disaster how the government involved in saving the world. How the scientists and researchers are struggling with destiny is well captured. Here the secret to saving the global has been hidden in an ancient temple. How Vikram Rathod, a treasure hunter and Avitav Deshmukh, an aged brilliant religious professor heading into the mission to discover the Tatva gives goosebumps to me.

This book is a must-read one. I have been amazed by this entire process to hunt the secret. Language is rational. The plot is intriguing.

Overall, I recommend this book to all.

Deadlines are considered to be somewhat of a bane in everyone’s life. There can be serious consequences for those who fail to meet the same.

However, what if there is one deadline, the repercussions of which will result in the end of the entire world?

Based on a similar concept is the book, ‘The Vimana Transcripts’ by Vadhan, which portrays us the story of how crucial it has become for our protagonist, Vikram Rathod to find that one thing which is the only way through which lives of him and everyone else will be saved, and how the failure to do so will result in complete destruction.

The question remains on whether this deadline can be met by Vikram or will it lead to the unthinkable. This was such a gripping tale that keeps us engrossed through out the entire book.

It was so lovely to see how the author lets his imagination flow freely and takes us to a fictional world that is completely mesmerizing and intriguing at the same time. Hence I am going to give this FIVE VIMAN STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Vimana Transcripts by Vadhan is a 'cut to the chase' fiction with the narration that kept me hinged throughout. The growing curiosity of the plot progress and the hunt for tatva was a ride on the roller coaster.

The author has framed and sketched the characters to absolute perfection and the narration slash writing style is on point. Worth reading fiction!

This review comes across the time when the world is witnessing The World War 3, ofcourse not all countries are suffering when we see with the naked eyes, but yes the butterfly effect is here to stay
What happens when all countries are suffering together and we have a deadline to meet,to prevent the apocalypse which can shatter the entire humankind?
This book revolves around the same plot. So get ready to see ISRO team up with an astounding treasure hunter who has a story of his own.
Critically speaking, the plot was amazing, I'll try not to reveal much about it the entire string of logic author has created connecting it to India, and that to the unidentified species is marvellous.
There were contradictory characters which made the reading a bit sour , for eg.
Payal is a determined, modern woman who works in ISRO, yet her actions/questions were seemingly not so intellectual, it went out of character and proved her mum wrong when she keeps telling "she's just a girl".
Had the book been centric to the real plot, and less on vikram's personal engagements be it with the Russian or chitralekha , I'm pretty sure, with the author's strong command in narration and creativity this could have been more gripping.
The drastic shift and liking/chemistry between Vikram Rathod and Payal is a bit underdeveloped which makes us think we are watching an American TV series where people fall easy, without reason.(this is my personal opinion, I just do not like fast and furious approach on the love angle).
Overall it's a good book with well researched knowledge on Indian temples, culture, also, if the author could add a few illustrations around the temple part, it'll make the next edition of this book, very beginner friendly. And not just an engineer friendly!
As an avid admirer of Indian culture it's history and equally curious reader thirsty for action, this was a great pick, not gonna lie!

“Reveal that truth to us
Or else end of the past
Or else end of the future”

||> My Opinion <||
The end, where everyone is waiting for the imminent end of the world, our protagonists are turning every stone to save it. The story revolves around a secret message received by every space agency on the planet via the Voyager that indicates an inevitable holocaust is approaching earth that could annihilate everything on the planet. The message is so cryptic that no one is able to decipher it. Now the only hope for the planet is a team of treasure hunters, a young scientist of ISRO, an old professor, and a Russian Mob, an odd team indeed but it is what it is.

The book is a perfect amalgamation of Mythology, Sci-fi, Aliens technology, action, and adventure which takes the reader on a roller coaster ride. The book is fast-paced and does not bore even for a second. I personally, read it in one go and I remember writing to the Author as soon as I finished it and Vadhan sir was so kind to reply to a fan message. It was one of the best days of my life.
Now returning to the book, it shows the author’s vast knowledge of Hindu Mythology *( or I would say our history). The description of Kailash Mandir and Shri Padmanabhaswamy temple was so descriptive, I felt like I have visited it. I remember watching it on the news as a kid when the authorities were opening the vaults of the Padmanabhaswamy temple, but vault B has been a mystery ever since. And the thought that we might never know what is behind that door is really disheartening to me but when I read a convincing point of view, it really comforts me. I have read two books till now where the author has opened the Vault B in their story and I can’t decide which one I like better because both stories are so viable and convincing.

Overall, I would highly suggest this to anyone with the slightest interest in Hindu Mythology and to those who want to read about our great culture in an enchanting way.

3.5 stars, rounded up.

Every country in the world receives transcripts from an unmanned deep space probe called the Voyager 1, which predicts the end of the world unless an ancient Tatva, a principle, which is believed to be inside a Vimana, is uncovered. The world is now in uproar, and governments are scrambling to make sense of this threat that could destroy the world.

Meanwhile, we have Vikram Rathod, a treasure hunter, and Avitav Deshmukh, a languages and religions professor who must find the ancient Indian temple under which this Tatva could be buried.
How will they find this Tatva? And can humankind be saved?

My review:
- The combination of science fiction, Hindu mythology, and history is done very well. The choices the author made about this story are intriguing and informative.
- The humor - lots of laugh-out-loud moments right up to the very end.
- The cliffhangers were well-placed and adrenaline-inducing.
- It will make you interested in studying temples and Hinduism as a religion and philosophical order. Plus, using the different types of temple architecture to build on a quest of this level is impressive to say the least.
- The story is well-paced, well-researched, and is rounded off in a way that will keep you wanting more.
- And though I think that the story is well-paced overall, there are crucial points in the story where it shifts into a lower gear just when things are getting interesting. It becomes a little repetitive and this change in pace causes the reader’s interest to flag a little.

Overall, I think The Vimana Transcripts is a good, fun, quest story, with the stakes being as high as they can possibly get. You have existential questions and debates, Bollywood drama and action, numerous twists and turns that will take you for a spin, and the ultimate question - Creation or Evolution?
So if you’re looking for a book that has science fiction x mythology x history, The Vimana Transcripts will be well worth your time!

Book - The Vimana Transcripts
Author - Vadhan

The Book - "The Vimana Transcripts" divided into fifty-five (55) chapters, starts with conversation between Manjunath, head of ISRO Telemetry, Tracking, Command Network and Veda Srinivasan, the chairman of ISRO, about a message from interstellar space.

The main storyline revolves around the Voyager 1, the first of the two man-made objects ever to venture into interstellar space beyond the solar system, mainly to conduct data transmission, in form of two 'verses' to every country on Earth, worldwide.

Due to the transcripts, which promise the end of the past and the future, unless an ancient 'Tatva' stowed inside a Vimana is revealed, led the planet on high alert and global leaders were questioning the reality behind the threat.

Vikram Rathore, treasure hunter extraordinaire, threatened with death, whose main focus and concern was finding the Vimana to save lives. The secret buried deep down the ancient Indian temple, but will it be easy to dig deep down to know the secret?
Will he be able to save mankind and find answers in three days? How 'Tatva' can save the planet? Will Avitav Deshmukh and Vikram Rathore be successful in their mission?

The story is definitely a page-turner. The characters are well-developed. The language used is simple and lucid. Though, it was bit lengthy, but definitely worth reading. The twist and turns makes it even more interesting and engaging. The cover of the book is quite attractive. Overall, must read for everyone.

Planet has been depleting and the evil minds have been deploying their presence over the planet now. The very concept of the book will shake down more than just one's thoughts as the storyline and the entire narration is made in a manner Intriguing, engaging and alluring.
World knows how the evil powers have always tried to corrupt the good ones and the world knows how the good ones fight till end. Vadhan and the content in the book carries a lucid as well as an appealing form of narration which is indeed a rich in class one, where one's gonna witness in this book, a magnificent aroma as the theme on which the book has been jotted down entirely, is nowadays rare and unseen while all of the other books are either just sci-fi. The concept of this book isn't new but holds newness from the cover page until the end story as the terms like decoding, codes, cryptic messages to deliver information and dialogues in different tones.
A story more than enough to make your week turn fresh and bold as the tale is filled with Energising words and vibes. I liked the bold appearance of the book in terms of cover page and title whereas the Pace at times fell out a bit. Magnificently penned, this book will easily take one on a ride through fire rings and learn new aspects and forgotten talks from past and new age tale.

The title of this book took me off-guard. The moment I saw this book , I started reading it and explored the author's imagination. This story is of an astronomical calamity that earth can witness in coming 36 hours which will break the earth into two parts. The leaders and generals from each country gathered and started searching for its solution. Every thing turns out to be Chaos.

The story starts with a revelation of voyager - 1 which is a space craft in reality that is know for its exploration through the space by NASA. The aim of that spacecraft is to give information in the form of transmission to its base and from that scientists will study the exploration. But things changes when it sends some mystical data regarding the fate of our planet earth. What is that threat that made each and every great leader of the country on their feet is the story of this book.

The protagonist Vikram rathor is brilliantly plotted and have a good character development overall. The way things starts building up is exceptional and really engaging. The thrill of the end is real and it keeps coming with each passing chapters. There is a moment when I thought the story is bit streched but can be ignored as no story is perfect.

Amazing work by the author including the science, fiction, mythology and our ancient sayings. I was wondering how the author did it? It was a vast subject and making the readers quite intriguing and interesting is such a tough job. But the author gave a fantastic script to float in the imaginary world. The responsibility that the protagonist having to save the planet within that time limit of three days to find the "Tatva" is like mission impossible which leads to hook up like sitting in the edge of the seat to watch how it is possible? Enormous amount of research work has taken into the space, the vimana, Indian ancient temples and the myths.

The writing style is fast paced. The language and the narration is facile. The title and the cover suits well and gave an attractive sense of grabbing the book.

The one who wants to travel to the another world in this universe with a mysterious treasure hunt can find this book as an interesting and engrossing reading.

Pick this book and identify what is the mission impossible in this story by wondering the Indian ancient temple and the myths behind it.

Enjoy reading this wonderful book and travel along with the protagonist.

An electrifying read..!

If you are a science fiction lover, then this book is your blind pick. The story is revolving around Voyager-1. The concept was based on in-depth research on space and its elemental forms. The story will take you on a ride for a futuristic approach. Among wondering about the impossibilities, Voyager’s only aim is to transmit data globally. Bit this event suffered a backslash, as an accident took place. This incident created a stage of high alerts among all the global leaders. Everyone is busy analysing the ongoing threats. With tough situations, great heroes were born. Vikram Rathod, a treasure hunter is on a mission to discover Vimana. His life along with his loved ones' lives is in danger and challenges are tough ahead. We are on the point of a dead end, with a timeline of as little as three days.

This book is an edge on a gripping tale. It will engage all the readers till its end. Narration is simple and all the descriptive incidences created a clear vision for all the readers. Along with a great attractive book cover, this book is unique in its creation. It might be a lengthy read, but the story picked up its pace after the introduction of main leads and it will take us along on a thrilling trail.

✨Unlike other books which I have been reading, this Vimana transcripts came like a beautiful Sci-fic movie😍❤. The ISTRAC receives message from an outer space to their CIAD device in a form of a transcript to be decoded from there tension start because of the impending danger involved in it. The time is short to be decoded and the transcript was sent to all the countries which meant everyone are in trouble.

✨This shakes our country and they bring in a treasure hunter who is an omniscient in words to effect. But his life goes to threat by some anti national forces. There story gets electrified and how he decodes the transcript and save the country as well as the world, forms the rest of the story😄. Readers should get the same experience of joy and thrill as I received😄.

✨This story is not only about fiction but also involved friendship, loyalty, history culture of our countr and the science behind every action in the universe😄❤😍.

✨ I would recommend to those interested in reading Sci-fic thriller novels😍.

"Life is born and thus it must die."
-Professor Avitav Deshmukh (Character in The Vimana Transcripts)
The Vimana Transcripts is an amalgamation of science fiction and concepts like God and religion falling under mythology.
The story starts with countries of the world receiving coded information from space outside of our solar system, where no human ever reached. Due to the efforts of one of the best treasure hunters, Vikram Rathode with his two-member crew and professor Avitav Deshmukh, who specialised in his studies of Hinduism and several languages, we come to know about the deciphered verses that intend to threaten the existence of the whole planet. To know where these mysterious messages lead the planet Earth, pick up this amazing tale now!
My view of the author's writing style is quite good! I found it slow-paced enough to make an impact of every little detail happening around and hence, perfect plot development. My favourite part of the book is where the characters are showcased racking their brains to predict the information and its meaning. The factual part is quite well researched and portrayed!

The 358-page book is a fast-paced thriller novel that has a good amount of action, a lot of deciphering of ancient texts, visits to some historical places and temples in India, some politics and family drama.

It has a great captivating plot that has brought in multiple characters from multiple backgrounds along with an interesting storyline.

This book can be read by beginners but any reader of Indian thriller novels would enjoy this. However, keep in mind the kind of thriller it is… it’s more like a sci-fi novel with a treasure hunt to save the world. And I would classify it as quite a light-read.

A story more than enough to make your week turn fresh and bold as the tale is filled with energising words and vibes. With an attractive cover picture and curious title seeks the attention of a reader making it a must read.
