This book shares a very basic understanding of the concept of shadows. I would use it as an introduction of a lesson on shadows to an early age group because it presents shadows in a comical yet intriguing way by describing different kinds of shapes shadows can create. It is a fun read, and I found the pictures to be helpful in the understanding of the text. Also good for ELL students to pick up on some unusual yet useful vocabulary.
Recommended grade level: K-1.

Book offers simple explanations about different shadows and how to make them. I found that it was not enough for me to use for my lesson.
