I loved girls rule a lot I loved the relationship between the two girls pearl and Izzy and I also loved that pearls mum was the prime minister I love that mums in books have an important role to play. My favourite part was when pearl and Patricia arrived at ten downing Street and all the people welcomed them in. I also loved pearls dog rosy she was just so lively and energetic and sweet. I gave the book five stars because I have loved Alisha's Dixon's other books in the past and this one is no difference. I have loved the lightning girl series as well.

Ok this book is clearly not for my age group… so for me it was predictable. However wanted to read it before my ten year olds do, just to see what it was about, I loved the premise and the fun and I can see my girls enjoying this. It was funny and predictable for me I’d like to see what they think and whether it is predictable for them too. 😊

I have to say I was a little skeptical about reading this book at first. As a person who is very into YA, fantasy and dystopian books, this is not something I would usually read but I saw it in a bookstore and decided to try it. I actually really liked this book. I don't know a lot about Alesha Dixon but she is quite a good author. The book was funny, entertaining and enjoyable to read. It was cool to see what it could be like to live at 10 downing street. The reason I dropped this to 4 stars was because the 'villian' was extremely obvious and predictable. I guessed who it was as soon as the character was introduced. However, this was a fun, short book to read in a day.
I would recommend for everyone but especially slow readers because it is quite a short book.

In the middle of the book it was a bit dragged but I like the situation that they used. A very nice ending, although it seemed rushed.

I really enjoyed this book by the famous Alesha Dixon. Ive read all her other books and this book did not fail to disappoint. Also fun fact we share the same birthday. Anyway this book features the 2 main characters Pearl and Issy. Pearl’s mum becomes the first black prime minister and she then falls in love with Issy’s dad. The girls struggle to get along and once they find out their parents r engaged they try and do everything they can to try and split them up. Well worth the read
