Aurora was raised to lead, with the expectation that she will one day become ruler of the Mer of Triste Island. There’s just one problem. Nobody’s bothered to ask Aurora if she wants to be queen.
Chafing at the confines of her role, Aurora risks everything for a chance at a new life. Ready for adventure, Aurora washes up on Siren Island at the feet of one very bewildered video-game designer. The clock is ticking before the Royal guards find her, and Aurora is determined to experience everything that life on Siren Island can offer.
Including Nathan.
Nathan can’t believe his eyes when the most gorgeous woman he’s ever seen in real life walks out of the ocean and asks him for a kiss. From the moment he meets Aurora, his life is turned upside down. Painfully shy, with a heart of gold, Nathan finds himself torn between falling for Aurora and protecting the seemingly naive beauty.
It isn’t long before her past comes calling, and Aurora is forced to make a choice between her people and the only man who has ever seen her for who she truly is.
Can she have it all–or will Aurora choose duty over love?

There's magic in Tricia O'Malley's books that transports you to Siren Island and somehow makes Mermaids real. The word pictures she paints of the island and the characters, especially the mermaids make me long to travel to Siren Island and stay there and enjoy the magic. Her stories aren't just entertaining, she's a true Irish storyteller who weaves her magic while she weaves her tales and captures your imagination. Only Nora Roberts has been able to capture your mind and your imagination to this degree and I do believe that Tricia O'Malley has become a worthy successor to the great Nora Roberts, not a compliment I give lightly but they both have an enchanting turn of a phrase to take you to far lands where magic is believable and is simply part of the life there.
Aurora has run away from her home because she wants more knowledge and experience life on land. Her father the King of their Mer tribe hasn’t let her go on land like her other villagers because she is the Princess and destined to rule. When Aurora comes out of the ocean late one night she meets Nathan. They have immediate chemistry, but Nathan is shocked, and then she asks him for a kiss and his world is turned upside down. This is a very good, fast paced read that completes the series. I really liked all the characters. Aurora’s thirst for knowledge is a good driving force for her. Nathan has a thirst for knowledge too and is very patient with Aurora as he answers all her questions. I would definitely read more books by this author.
In Good Time, Book 7 of Tricia O’Malley’s Siren Island series, continues a theme introduced in book 6, A Good Soul, as some Mer folk from other areas of the world begin to spread out of their own regions and explore the idea of a united Mer. The beauty of this story is that the two principal characters are incredibly inexperienced. The human, socially awkward Nathan, can’t even swim, while the mermaid, Aurora, is totally unaware of what life on land involves…and how careful she must be. Both have a lot to learn! This reader’s advice is to dive right into this exciting story. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book. Most highly recommend.
What a great way to end my visit to Siren Island. From the beginning with "Good Girl" take a magical trip to a small island and stay awhile at The Laughing Mermaid. A world of magic and mermaids culminating in a coalition of Mers and Humans to help each other out and save the oceans. All due to a Mer princess named Aurora who wanted to find out for herself what an adventure on land is all about after hearing about it from her friends.
Little did she realize how life changing it could be. So come on over to Siren Island and The Laughing Mermaid for an adventure you will never forget with just a touch of magic.
The Siren Island Series has been an emotional and enjoyable read. I read these stories in sequence although I know they can be read out of order or as stand alone. The main characters and supporting characters all build upon each other and further expose the whole series. I wish that the author would consider writing a sequel to this later further expounding on the families that grow from these magnificent mermaids and human partners. Their union and the offspring created are definitely stories
Nathan and Aurora's romantic meeting and relationship perfectly portrays the magic and existence of soul mates on Siren Island and beneath the sea. Aurora is a mermaid princess, but travels to land against her father's commands and falls for Nathan, a man who cannot swim. Their whirlwind romance is filled with swoon-worthy moments, misunderstandings that lead to deeper connection, and hundreds of mermaids supporting one another and the new interaction with humans. A great installment in an amazing series!!
Tricia O'Malley has done it again! A wonderful mix of magic and love with enough action to keep it moving. The characters are be!ievable and the kind of people you want to be friends with. If this is the first Siren Island book you have read, do yourself a huge favor and read books 1 through 6. I am sure you will enjoy each and every one of them, I know that I did. In
Nathan is a geek that has produced a very successful game. He runs into a naked female coming out of the ocean one night. He has met a mermaid (although he has no clue) and falls hard. They are both so attracted to each other that they both can’t imagine being without the other. Of course, there is more to this story and the couple trying for a happily ever after. Enjoy.
The Siren Island series was very much enjoyable in every single book with such distinct characters in each that carried through each book. The 7th book was like a capstone of the series with the possibility left for another based on the same characters but 10 years out or so that would include the progeny of the original characters. Love that Tricia has well developed characters in each of her books that carry through a series.
What a fantastic series this has been, from start to finish ! Honestly felt like I became part of the team, cheering them all on and wishing nothing but the best for them! I was totally submerged from the start to the finish!! I cannot recommend these books enough, love, laughter, tears, joy, close to death experiences and even babies! ❤️ What a joy they were to read!!!
Another one of Tricia's great books. They are not long, and an easy read but they always have a bit of a moral story in them. Maybe it depends on what you are looking for.....I like frivolous and fantasy, dosed with a bit of seriousness and Tricia O'Malley always delivered. And who wouldn't want to know Mer folk anyway??
This was a great ending book to a wonderful series. It captured the magic I’ve always felt when I was near the ocean. When I lived in Virginia on warm summer nights I would swim in the ocean and I could feel the magic and its power. This book takes me back to that time. I cried so much through this book. It was everything that I could’ve wanted from in life.
Wow! I couldn’t put this down. Aurora is an instantly lovable character as is Nathan. Together they blossom and their love story is so pure and fun but not without some bumps.
Having Mira and Jolie back to was nice as those two always bring some sparkle. I hope there are more books to come in this series. I love it too much for it to end.
Oh my i don't want to give the story away so I'll say you'll be so very happy while your reading! I couldn't put it down. I cried happy years never also believe in love, truth, trust and most importantly Family! The Siren Island series really touched your heart with every story!
Aurora the Mermaid princess wants to explore land and finds love. Nathan of nerdy type falls for Aurora and her beauty. Jolie and Mirra take Aurora under their wings to help her navigate life on Siren Island. There are a number of twists and turns but love wins out in the end. Loved the read. Hope there is still more to come.
On Siren Island, some people believe in Mermaids and know they exist. When Aurora, a Mer princess walks ashore on Siren Island, she meets human Nathan a game developer. They fall in love, but Aurora is torn between her desire for a life on the island with the man she loves, and her duty to her Mer tribe.
I wish Tricia wrote more about the couples time together after they’d found eachothers hearts. I always hate that the book ends the moment they fall in love! But not here! They meet almost immediately and fall for eachother rather fast This book is one of her best and the best in this series!
Nathan Is A Video game Creator who has taken up residence on Siren Island. One night he meets a nude woman coming out of the ocean and he's instantly smitten. Now , can they have the relationship they both want? Problem #1, Nathan doesn't know how to swim. Lol
I've enjoyed all of Tricia O'Malley's series. The Siren Island series is fun, fanciful and sexy. In Good Time opens with a voluptuous naked mermaid coming out of the ocean at night just as a tipsy fellow , who is a video game designer is walking home. What could possibly happen next?
Ms O’Malley can certainly weave a story that keeps you turning pages, all day, and into the night. Until you finish the book. Only to grab the next and begin once again, turning pages… such an amazing author! Thank you for this series and all the others you e written. I will wait impatiently for that which comes next.
This is book 7 in the Siren Island Series and what a delight it was listening to this wonderful story. I cannot recommend this series highly enough. I listened to all the books within two weeks back to back. I was entranced by all the characters and Tricias imagination. Amy Landon the narrator brought to life these wonderful series.
Beautiful oceans, beaches, mermaids, magic and love. Always a great combination. An amazing series. This latest book did not disappoint. Always an adventure on Siren Island.
I love the Siren Island series. I loved it so much I finished the book in just one day. Aurora is a Mer Princess, who doesn’t love princesses? I would suggest you read the series from the beginning. If you don’t have the time, this one is able to stand alone. Either way, settle in for a good read.
As always Tricia wrote another great book. I couldn't put it down. I love how she makes you feel immersed into another world. She is the best story teller.
I didn't like these characters. I just didn't feel any "connection" to them. It honestly became a chore to read this book. For me, the series has just gone past it's shelf date.
I couldn't finish this book and ended up returning it unfinished as I just couldn't struggle to any longer to get through it.
Tricia O’MALLEY is a wordsmith most magical. All of her stories have depth and mystery and are a joy to read. Mer folk hold a special place in my heart and Siren Island is where I would love to live. You will enjoy this story so much! Enjoy!
Princess Aurora runs away and ends up on Siren Island at the Laughing Mermaid after meeting Nathan and falls in love. Awesome storyline and great characters, love the interaction and humor between characters.Great read
Magick is real and wonderful. Oceanic myths give new insight into voluptuous women and men your dad would want for you. Read all 7 books and couldn’t put them down until finished. Second series I have read of Miss O’Malley’s loved them both.
Oh, what a fabulous escape from adulting! Makes me wish to be a mermaid…or a friend of a mermaid…or live on Siren Island so I could watch the waves and think I saw a mermaid. Great love stories, all of them, and a lot of good relationship advice. I will definitely read all of them again.
