Hell Night is a very dark and bloody anthology that includes stories by Nikki Winters, M. Reeds, and Liley Cruz. These stories are incredibly dark and twisted, so I highly suggest checking the trigger warnings.
Raw Tendencies by Nikki Winters is about Kainan St. Clair, an unhinged serial killer who has decided to let his demons come out and play. He meets Rhys on his killing spree, a sexy raven-haired lady who might be just as twisted as he is.
Night Stalker by M. Reeds is about Macie; she hasn't made many friends and befriends her teacher, who shows her kindness. One night at the Carnival, Macie is supposed to meet her boyfriend Colton; he texts her to meet him at the Funhouse. She walks into the Funhouse and is brutally attacked and kidnapped by her not-so-sweet and friendly teacher, Mr. Graham.
Purge: The Hunting Ground, you meet Reagan and her merry band of psychopaths Maximus, Kingston, and Bishop. They are all in a heavily sexually committed relationship. Don't cross them, or there will be hell to pay.
(Fun fact Reagan is Macie's sister, so I'm excited to see how that connection plays out in their books.)
Hell Night was one wild intense, gory ride, but I found myself devouring the book. I can't wait to see these characters again.

This is way too much disturbing! I don't think I can sleep tonight after reading the first 20 pages of this. No amount of trigger warnings can ready me for this shit. Explicit details of butchering people which made me throw up and I'm not easily triggred... I mean what the fuck is this book! I couldn't even get past the first short story and there are 2 other freaking stories???
Look I'm not shaming those who actually enjoyed this. It just wasn't for me.

A Sultry Slasher!!!
Three stories. Three authors. One HELL of a book!! They twisted the location and characters together like a beautiful puzzle. Each story is full of HORROR and EROTIC SCENES, both blowing my mind. When I reached the end of each part, I craved more!!!! They did an incredible job creating individual parts while also intertwining bits and pieces from the overall theme. Fan-f*cking-tastic!!
Such a beautiful, disgusting, and horrific anthology, ladies!!
If you're into horror/thriller with a heat level of 100, you NEED to read this!!

(I received an ARC for a fair review)
At the beginning of each individual story, there is a list of trigger warnings. I only have like 1 or 2 triggers, so nothing effected me. However, I do really appreciate the authors’ time making a list of possible triggers. I have honestly never seen that in a book but I am thinking to myself—why ISN’T this done more often? So kudos to them.
On the whole, this is a bloody, gory, and steamy anthology. It is DEFINITELY not for the faint of heart. But as someone who loves slashers, scary movies, and horror, this was right up my alley.
Each story is entirely it’s own, however, they connected together like a puzzle around a massacre at the Fair. That alone was worth 5 stars for me: the interconnection, the individual voices, perspectives, situations, etc. It was so well done.
The first story tells about the massacre itself and the gory bloody ways that our carny had had enough of people and what he did about it. Super bloody and gory. I felt like I was watching a movie. However, there were some loose plot holes and I wanted to know more about who this guy was and what he did next. He just left town? I don’t think so. The other thing with this story was the editing errors. I can overlook a couple editing errors, but this first story was littered with them. It made getting lost in the story difficult at times. Nonetheless, it has good bones and I loved the perspective of the story being told from the killer.
The second story was giving me My Dark Vanessa vibes. The story was interesting, but again, there were some loose threads. I feel like the author skipped very quickly between our main protagonist meeting the teacher and then being held captive by the teacher. And for a super long time and nothing really happening there while being captive? I don’t know…This story also suffered from a lack of editing. There were quite a lot of mistakes that also kind of got me side-tracked as a reader.
The last story was probably my most favorite. It is definitely the steamiest of them all. It speaks of revenge, pleasure, and surprise. I loved this one and needless to say, I couldn’t read it in public LOL. This one barely had any editing errors, maybe one, which allowed me to really experience and get into the story, which I really appreciated. This was the perfect story to end with.
On the whole, I liked the images used throughout, the cover art is beautiful, and I love the different perspectives featured in each story. I love the unique stories told, the interconnection, and the horror.
For me though, I got so lost with some loose plot moments and the editing was pretty bad. I am giving this a 3. If these things are fixed before publication, it would be a solid 5.

Okay so I know we are at the time of year for sweetness, steaminess and well… Santa. But DAMN have these ladies delivered something completely different!! So let’s take a minute to talk about this dark anthology by Liley Cruz, M.Reeds and Nikki Winters.
This book is a three in one teaser for what’s to come.. it’s dangerously dark, HOT, bloody and intriguingly terrifying!
Please, please read trigger warnings, it’s not to be stepped into lightly. However if you are okay with this kind of read then my gosh jump in!!
It leaves you wanting so much more.. I want to know these people, why are they so dark and twisted? How are they getting away with it? Could they be loved or love someone? I NEEDS TO KNOW!!
These 3 ladies have come together to create the wonderfully dark world that is ‘Devil’s Gate Fairgrounds’ and I may not want to leave there but I wouldn’t might travelling through and going on this dangerous ride!
It’s SO freakin dark, it’s bloody and oh so kinky!!
I loved how they were all different from each other but all connected at the same time! I am impatiently waiting for more!

When @authornikkiwinters reached out to me asking me if I was interested in reading Hell Night—her dark and bloody (co-written) anthology with the interconnected stories of Raw Tendencies, Night Stalker and Purge: The Hunting Ground—she had me at dark and bloody 👀
I don’t know where to start—because this anthology is so dark and gorey and bloody and relentlessly kinky.. you cannot read this in a public space, I’ll tell you that much. But holy motherdicking god—did I love it 🥵
I find it positively fascinating how three different authors are able to create this universe with snippets of their own stories (all with chapters titles! Gosh I missed those). I especially liked how they were indeed all connected at some level, be it with characters, or through flashbacks but this was truly something 😮💨⛓

Hell Night: A Dark and Bloody Anthology.
And dark and bloody it was. Hell Night is a combination of three short interdependent stories, co-written by three authors. A huge thank-you to @authornikkiwinters for reaching out to me to take a read of this compendium of living hells. Hers being the first story—Raw Tendencies, @authormreeds with the second—Night Stalker, and @authorlileycruz the third—The Purge: The Hunting Ground.
Before I go on, I must mention—it would be reckless if I didn’t—that you should take a peek at the trigger warnings, because this one has the whole buffet. This book is not for everyone so please I urge you to read them. Including but not limited to Stockholm Syndrome, blood kink, branding, primal play, suffocation, murder, edge play, cannibalism, and consensual non-consent.
And I begin,
Wow, these stories are extraordinarily dark, twisted, and taboo. I did not “dip my toes into” this book, I cannonballed. I can honestly say I’ve never read anything like this before, and though I’ve read (and do read) a number of “dark romances”, this was new for me, these ladies are on a whole different playing field when it comes to darkness and depravity.
I gotta say it’s truly incredible how three stories written by three separate beings could come together and connect brilliantly together across time, while still remaining independent and uniquely their own. I was left wanting to know more, what’s happening? What’s going to happen next? How else are these characters and stories connected? Might have to jot this anthology down as a mystery because I have so many questions and I’m excited to read what’s coming next!
This is perfect quick read for anyone who likes horror or thriller stories with some added spice.

This anthology but the DARK in dark and twisty. First, I want to say please check your trigger warnings because this is definitely on the extremely dark side of things; however, each short story was so good. These three short stories are basically snippets of what’s to come in their full length novels, similar to appetizers if you will. And can I say, thank goodness we’re getting full length novels of these characters or I would absolutely start a riot. Each story is a standalone but interconnected so well in this world and I can’t wait to see what comes next.
Raw Tendencies: this was the first story in the anthology and the absolute darkest. Kainan was absolutely insane but what did you expect from a serial killer finally unleashing his inner self. Honestly, he was my favorite but then again I always love the most damaged ones. I can’t wait to see how his obsession with Rhys will come into play in their novel.
Night Stalker: the second book left me with more questions. It was the least darkest of the three to me but was more mysterious. We only had Macie’s POV, so I’m hoping we can gather some insight from Emmett on why he went through these lengths to kidnap Macie.
Purge: I absolutely love me a RH and this delivered. I cannot wait for their novel because they are already in a committed relationship going into this book. Granite, they are in a very dark relationship but that makes it all the better.
I will definitely be adding the full length novels to my TBR and anxiously waiting to see what these authors come up with in this dark and twisty world.

All three stories take place on Halloween night at a carnival, that’s all I needed to know. This anthology is DARK. Please read the trigger warnings. Ohmygodddddd I loved it so much. Each story was so different yet all seemed to fit so effortlessly together.

These are just snippets into the stories, each one will be full length books and I need them right now!! I also really loved how each story interconnected. This was such a fun horror /romance movie vibe.

Low rating but sorry this was bad. There are 3 authors for this anthology … did any of you proofread for each other? Was an editor involved? I’m usually not a stickler for grammatical or spelling errors but it’s definitely worth mentioning. The first story had me so confused flipping between present & past tense that I had to think to myself “oh wait… they meant this”. Like I said, worth mentioning bc it happened too much.
The content didn’t bother me. Not really my favorite but nothing that I mind (I have very minimal-like 2- triggers). But if more focus was put on the plots than the shock value, it may have been a better read.

Hell Night is an anthology of 3 short stories that are little teasers for full length stories that will be released this year. This means they don’t really have an ending because it’s just a taster for the books! It’s crazy to me that all 3 were written by different writers because they fit together seamlessly. They all revolve around the same time and place and are interwoven through different characters. Each one is its own rollercoaster of crazy that is action packed from start to finish. These stories are definitely dark af so make sure you check those TW⚠️ 👀 there are some taboo topics addressed and all three are pretty graphic! This anthology was dark and had me begging for more, all 3 stories honestly. There’s something about all the characters that makes you want to learn their minds and what makes them who they are. From the hot psycho in Raw tendencies to the deranged hot teacher in Night Stalker to the 3 vengeful panty melting guys in Purge: the Hunting Ground, my dark soul is happy. Can’t wait to see their full stories come out !!!

THIS IS DEEP INTO TABOO
I don't wanna review this book for real. This is just going to be a warning with an explanation.
I am aware that this book is a taboo book, yes. And there have been TWs and all but none of that readied me for the stories I found inside.
I don't want to shame anyone for liking stuff like this but it really disturbed me. I like taboo, I like it dark and all. But especially the first two shirt stories were just absolutely sick. The last one wasn't so bad to be honest but just because in the end we learned that everything was consensual and all.
The first was way too rapey for me, the second is a no go for me (romanticizing the Stockholm syndrome).
Again, no shame for liking this. But be warned.

Love the starts of this book. Can't wait to read the other parts that will follow. Extremely stoked about picking up where each of the stories left off. I believe it's definitely different than anything I've read so far & I thoroughly enjoyed it.

This book is most definitely not for the faint of heart, so proceed with cautions if you’re not a fan of the dark, the crazies that reign in the shadows and all things taboo. This anthology is a collection of three stories that are mysteriously linked to each other.
All three stories are referring to the Devil's Gate Fairgrounds massacre. This Massacre happened years ago and ended with many people dead. Or maybe I should say butchered. Because they were not just killed 🤢
In the first story we see the pov of the psycho killer. The one who started the whole massacre. He has some strange voices in his head that encourage him to act in such a violent way. His behaviour will make you uncomfortable. I mean..it made me uncomfortable and trust me, I've read some ugly shit.
This man literally plans huntings often just to calm his demons. And no I don't talk about fucking deer or something. You guessed it. It's humans that he hunts. And he bloody slays them. Making them ground meat or something and then turning their bones into dust. I'm gonna puke 🤢
While he does all this he meets a girl. He immediately becomes obsessed with her and ruts her like a wild animal while she's on her period. Like we didn't have enough blood already 👀. *Sigh*
The second and third story are for two sisters. One happened to be in the fairground the night of the massacre but she survived only to be kidnapped by her teacher who now holds her hostage. 🙄
The other sister is nothing like her. She's a dark bitch who enjoys degradation and pain so when she also gets kidnapped by three men this time, she doesn't bat an eye. If these fuckers are going to fuck her.. she's gonna fuck them back. And boy.. does she 👀
My favourite stories were the first and the third. The first because of all this batshit crazy stuff that it had and the last because of the intensity that the sex had. What can I say..if you offer me one dick or three..bitch I'm gonna go with the three. 🤷🏻♀️

Story one is Raw Tendencies by Nikki Winters and to be quite honest literally gives me Saw meets hannibal lecter vibes 😂. It's 1000% not for the faint hearted, it's bloody, brutal, gory and has a body count higher than the number or chapters 😂. It's probably one of the darkest books I've read and that's saying something 😳 but I couldn't put it down, I was hooked on how fucking morbid our main character was, he took psychopath to a whole new level! I'm so intrigued as to where his story is going..

Raw Tendencies - Nikki Winters
This one has come out swinging! Right to the gore! This one is not a romance, but I would assume the full length will be. I need more of Kainan and Rhys! The little we saw of them was 🥵🥵🥵 I am excited to see where Raw Tendencies will go and how dark our demon, Kainan, can be!

I could not put this one down! Overall, I love how interconnected these stories are. They all take place at the same time, same place, same sinister town. I am excited to see where these authors are going to take their stories!

Spice: Not a clue
These "short stories" are EXTREMELY dark and twisted. I was warned by multiple people, but wasn't prepared for this type of dark. I did like how each story was connected to the next.
Story #1: Raw Tendencies was mainly blood and gore. Not horrible, but very graphic.
Story #2: Night Stalker was a hard no for me. I do have a line when it comes to taboo/triggers and children being involves is at the top. It's an age gap that starts when Macie is 13 yrs old.
Story #3: Purge: The Hunting Ground was my favorite of the three. Reverse harem and the fmc is related to one of the character's in the previous story.

I really REALLY want to love these. I do. Did they pique my curiosity? Yes, definitely. Am I curious to see how everything will tie together? Again, yes.
The fact that they made me want to read more is the one solid reason that I gave a 3 star rating. The problem is that there is only enough in each story to make you want to read each full book. It’s like when you’re browsing through a bookstore and you read the description on the back of the book. These are just long enough to really grab your attention and get you invested in the stories and how they tie together.
With that I also wonder whether I’d have held off on rating and reviewing this if the full length stories were already released. It’s hard to gauge how much you are going to enjoy something if you are just getting a “sneak peek” at it. That being said though I DO plan to finish the stories if and when they’re released.
Would I recommend reading? Sure if you like tormenting yourself with cliffhangers to 3 different books. They ARE interesting.

Deliciously dark
Not for the faint of heart.... Dark...bloody and hot ASF and I loved every word of it. Can not wait to read the rest of these stories. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
