On the Right Path Book Two, by Stacy Padula and Brett Gunning, is a children's book that continues to teach important life lessons to children. Book two in the series takes place at the basketball camp but focuses on Jayden's younger brother, Jordan. Jordan is so focused on making a basket by himself that he didn't notice that one of his friends was open to help him make the basket. Coach Pete uses this moment to explain the importance of putting the needs of others before yourself. This tends to be a tough lesson for young children to understand. However, showing this lesson both in a team setting and outside of basketball makes it easier for children to understand this lesson. On the Right Path Book Two, helps children know that putting another person's needs before their own can be as easy as sharing a piece of pizza or a toy.
