March 30, 2025I actually hated this book, and that’s a first for me. It’s so disappointing because I saw so many ads for it, and it sounded like it was going to be really good, but it wasn’t.
Half the time I was confused; it jumps around constantly and it’s messy. It’s overly sexual and not in a good way. There is no substance. So much of this book literally didn’t make sense. It was repetitive, and there were mistakes like him grabbing her chin while she’s sitting in the back and he’s driving.
Her name for herself was just odd, and I think it was to add to the whole Dd/lg vibe it was trying to give but really didn’t touch on (other than spankings and her calling him daddy).
He was just constantly thinking about sex, and some of the stuff he said was gross. Like ‘my dick swelled to the size of salami’— ew, just ew.
Honestly, super disappointed in this book.

I freaking tried. It's so short too, but I couldn't do it. It's my first DNF of the year. -10 stars. I'm pretty pissed I bought it because it's not in kindle unlimited.

A simply captivating read, great characters and wonderful storyline filled with action
I loved this book right from the off but I have to say that do not want to spoil the read for others so do not want to give away too much information about the characters or the plot. Jessica is a little at heart who has been left to care for a mother who she had loved dearly but who had died and then she had a double whammy when her father became ill with cancer and she had to care for all of his needs whilst living in a broken-down shack earning additional money from her job to help with her savings.
Then she had discovered after she had applied for some additional help for her father that he had disappeared and had emptied the bank account of all of her savings, he closed up the shack and even put a for sale notice on the broken-down car she had also purchased. He disappeared without a word and she does not understand until the hospital she applied to for the respite help advised her that he had not got cancer, he did not even attend the hospital. It had all been a lie so that he could use her and continue to abuse her verbally and lay around expecting her to do everything for him.
He never once thanked her, said that he cared for her or that he loved her what kind of father was that?
Lorenzo had seen her before and had been biding his time but that day in the supermarket as her world came apart around her, he knew that he had to step in and care for her after all he knew that she was his Baby Girl and he was her Daddy, however even he had been horrified when he had seen what she had been putting up with and where she was living.
His family as always had taken right to the tiny woman that had come into their midst, she may have been twenty -seven years old but she had the heart of a child and it shone through.
Then as Lorenzo and his family care for her and notice that her father is once again making a play to get his girl back under his thumb, he knows that he would sooner take matters into his own hands, as a deadly assassin he knows he could do this as easy as breathing.
Read this wonderful story it will have you totally wrapped up in its pages and like me you will have to read it in one sitting and discover the outcome.

DNFd asked at about 50%.
so I saw a ad for this book and decided to give it a read even though I saw that it has mixed reviews. so the ad is definitely the best part of the book I guess. so you kind of feel like you're dropped in the middle of the story. but it is a short read but there is a lot going on in the story and it's definitely ddlg scenario. I have read better but this is very typical of what you'll find and there is a lot of smut. it's just kind of confusing and you feel like there's two or three chapters missing. it starts with the FMC at a grocery store but it's all over the place and it doesn't really explain it very well but basically she's inside and over the intercom they tell someone that the lights on their car is on and the MMC walks by her and then she has to go outside because she gets a phone call from some Medical Center that she is dealing with with her dad because supposedly her dad has cancer and he is very controlling in all over the place so she who is 27 by the way is trying to get him into the facility. the lady tells her that they contacted his supposed doctors and he's lying at least about having the cancer. as she goes to I guess walk back inside she runs into the MMC and drops tomatoes on his foot but I don't know where she got them tomatoes from or if she had already checked out but then she talks about how all of her money is missing right after that when she goes to the ATM and then her car doesn't start. so I don't think she bought the tomatoes yet I don't know it was all over the place it was very confusing and this was just the first chapter. but apparently the MMC has been following her around and paying for her coffee at the local coffee place and says that he first spotted her walking around town and he has like a hard-on for her. he's definitely a daddy after the Tomato incident happened but before her car not starting they ended up going to the local restaurant and had lunch and after the car wouldn't start he ended up taking her with him to her house where his whole family was at for dinner. she basically gets with him that day and she tells him that she wants to get a job even though he doesn't need one. so she gets one at a local restaurant that his family owns and he also bought her a new car. it doesn't all over the place oh and she's a virgin.

Jessica has been caring for others so long, she needs a Daddy to take care of her. First her mother got sick and died and soon after that her father was diagnosed with cancer. Her father demands that she takes care of him and he makes rules that controls a lot of her life. She is only allowed to have her phone if she has to leave the house. Jessica is isolated and burnt out. She tries to get her father into assisted living when the social worker reveals that her father's doctor has never diagnosed him with cancer. Shocked by the news and feeling used, she agrees to have coffee with the big handsome man she ran into at the grocery store. He acts like a Daddy and that makes her inner Little Sparkle Pony excited. When she returns to where she parked the car, the car is gone. She also gets notified that her joint bank account with her father has been emptied and closed. Lorenzo drives her to her father'shouse and she finds herself locked up. Thankfully Lorenzo takes her him with him while she figures things out.
Lorenzo works for a mob family as a hitman or fixer. His life has been dark and cold until he sees Jessica. As a Daddy dom, he is sure that she is a Little and he longs to be her Daddy. However his life is too dark and violent for him to deserve a special woman like Jessica. In spite of that, he would do anything to spend time with his Kitten. Finding her upset in the grocery store has him coming out of the shadows. He will be the Daddy Sparkle Pony needs.

“It’s time you met the family.”
This story was good. I liked Jessica. She’d had a terrible life with her horrid family and yet she was still a sweet young woman. Lorenzo was right when he said she deserved to be with people who truly loved her. Lorenzo was a gangster with a heart of gold where his family and his kitten were concerned. The truly brought out the best in each other. I loved his family, especially his Nonna. I’d love to have a grandmother just like her! I also liked how Olivia incorporated the Daddy Dom element without making the little appear too immature or simple minded. That’s always a hard line to walk with this kind of kink. I think she did a great job with it.
The writing itself is just average. The language was stiff and awkward at times and the conversations were sometimes difficult to follow. Also I really felt the story could have had a little more conflict than just the dad and aunt being mean. Even the end was a bit to pat and lacking in any real drama. Olivia could have done more than she did with the characters.
This is the first book I’ve read by her so I don’t know if it’s typical. It’s part of a series but it didn’t seem like it and can easily be read as a stand alone.

*spoilers* Jessica is the caregiver to her father, who always chastise her and controls her, like she is only allowed to have a cell phone when she is out in public. Her mother also was sick until she died. Jessica has noone who is there for her to lean on in her life. She likes childlike things and calls herself secretely sparkle pony. She is afraid to go out in public. Jessica tries to reach out for help ina senior center, then she learns that her father feigned the diagnosis of cancer. She has a kind of breakdown at the supermmarket, when Lorenzo enters in her life. He has been there for a longer time without knowing her. He has done bad things in the past, but can not stay away from Jessica. He wants to be her daddy. When her father abandons her, he takes her home. He and his family take care of her and her little inside. When her father tries another plot to win her back, her daddy protects her.
I enjoyed this story very much. Like always a ott alpha who takes care of his woman and helps her find herself and also sizzling hot. It is addictive and just put me in another world, I could laugh and cry with sparkle pony and her daddy and the new family.. OMG! I loved this book it was awesome, the story of Jessica and Lorenzo the author has really brought them to life. Jessica and her two friends went to Sicily for a two weeks girls only holiday. Jessica went for a walk to get a postcard for her grandma then she had seen a gorgeous guy on his phone and a car coming for him, she ran and pulled him out of the way. Lorenzo was at a restaurant when he got a phone call when he was saved by this beautiful young lady. The instant connection they had when they touched the chemistry was steamy, exciting, the emotions throughout this story was like a rollercoaster when they were near each other she was flabbergasted yet he seemed cool they would kiss as if it was their last breath, there was a bit of kink, spankings and lots more.

This is book six of the series but it is written as a standalone. No prior reading is required.
This is romance with a daddy dom theme and a bit of spanking. This story is well written and easy to read with a down to earth setting that is easily accepted and works well as the background for our story. Our characters are also well developed with solid chemistry for the very start. I like the way our hero builds up our heroine and gives her a new future. Along the way we are treated to some nice steamy scenes for our entertainment, all on the way to a well deserved HEA. Overall, a very enjoyable read.
Highly recommended.

I really liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable but also enraging. The situation with Jessica's father was enough to make me hope that something REALLY bad would happen to him. The characters were intersting and likable for the most part. Nonna was a crack up and was absolutely wonderful. Jessica found out that her father had been lying to her for years after which she had a small break down in a store. Lorenzo stepped in and helped her. He soon became sure that he needed to keep his "kitten". Lorenzo was exactly what Jessica needed to get back on her feet and become what she wanted to be. I liked how the story ended. I do wish that there was an epilogue further out. I recommend reading this book.

A wonderful story, and beautifully written.
I just loved Jessicas character, she was always trying to be a good girl and take care of her father. Till she met Lorenzo he made her feel safe, he took her away from her father and was her Daddy.
Lorenzo what i liked about him was right from the start when he had eyes on Jessica he treated her with care and made sure he didnt lie, my gosh the best thing i had to do a smile about was that he got a tattoo on the day they met. I thought that was beautiful.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. From the beginning, this story is going to be filled with betrayal, struggles, drama, attraction and doubts. Jessica will pull at your heart strings. Lorenzo shows his strength, compassion, patience and vengeance in this book. Their story is about how two very different people, that you would not think were meant to be together, are perfect for each other. I liked all of the characters and thought the storyline was well written. Jessica discovers her strength and Lorenzo grounds her and lets her fly. . I loved this story by Olivia Fox. I was thrilled to see this latest story in the Lost Coast Daddies series. I couldn't put it down. I couldn't wait to see what happened next for Jessica and Lorenzo. Jessica has always looked after her father but when she needs more help, she discovers some unpleasant things about her father. Lorenzo has been enthralled by Jessica and finally makes his move to talk to her. When he discovers her problems, he takes over. He wants to be her Daddy and take care of her. Will they be able to find happiness together?

This was a well written story. Jessica is stuck in a dead end life working in a grocery story with no money and no way to escape. Lorenzo, a gangster, has been watching Jessica and decides to take her with him to a safe place and becomes her daddy. Lorenzo calls Jessica his kitten. This was a quick story with sizzling sweet romance. Will their relationship give them what they both have been searching for? .

Lorenzo has been watching Jessica for a while now. The beautiful, sad young woman is his little girl even if she doesn't realize it yet. Now that her crappy family is taking advantage of her, she'll figure it out, because Lorenzo isn't going to let his little girl be treated that way. Jessicacan't believe life can be this way. Strong, sexy, dominant Lorenzo. if only his family wasn't part of them mob she be a lot happier. She doesn't want another man who lies to her. This is such a good book.

Amazing as always
The Lost Coast Daddies series continues with this wonderful tale of Jessica finding out what it means to be loved when she meets Lorenzo. Lorenzo Drago has loved Jessica from the moment he saw her crossing the road in front of his car, and wants nothing more than to recover from the pains of the past by creating a future with Jessica. I highly recommend every book in this series, but if you’re only going to read one, make it this one. Trust me, you won’t regret it!

Our lead female character has had a rough start in life and is deceived by a trusted relative. Nothing hurts so much as betrayal. She finds refuge in a strong Daddy who had his sights on her for quite some time.
There is a lot of back and forth in her character as she grows and develops and once again learns to trust her heart.

This is another good read from Olivia Fox and is book 6 from the Lost Coast Daddies series. It's Jessica and Lorenzo story and is a sweet Insta love between a daddy/dom and his little girl. It is well written with great characters. Love this series and looking forward to reading more from this Author and series.

My first dd/lg book and I enjoyed it. It made sense that Jessica would thrive in a relationship like this one. All her life she’s basically been used by her parents and doesn’t know what love even looks like.
There are some definite spicy scenes in here, though I feel they were more on the tame side.
I’ve already bought some of the earlier books so I will be reading more in the series. .

Jessica supports and takes care of her father who says he is very ill and he treats her terribly. Lorenzo has watched and is slowly falling for Jessica and when she needs his help, he is there for her. And will make sure his kitten wants for nothing. The book is fast paced, sizzling, steamy, and more. All the Lost Coast Daddies series by Olivia Fox can be read for free with KU and what a fun binge read.
