Three brutal alien warriors. One broken human mate.
Back on Earth, I was just a small-time criminal. A loner who never needed help from anyone, especially not from a man. But I'm not on Earth anymore. This is Terramara. A deadly planet where a helpless little human like me doesn't stand a chance... alone.
Enter the aliens.
Three brutal, blue-skinned warriors with glowing eyes and razor-sharp horns. Their musclebound bodies have been honed by eons of evolution to serve two primal functions. The first function is killing.
The second is... unspeakable.
The aliens have the power to keep me alive. The key to my salvation lies deep within their dominating anatomy. If I want them to save me, I'll have to surrender to the monsters, body and soul. And I'll have to swallow more than just my pride. But if I give in to the aliens' demands, there's a chance I'll be changed forever...
And broken beyond repair.
Their Broken Vessel is the second book in the Terramara series, but it can read as a standalone romance. The story features no cheating, and a much-deserved HEA awaits the characters at the end of their long journey.
At first: What the..., Then later: Ohhh, that's why
POV: multiple HUMOR: some F BOMBS: yes CLIFFHANGER: no NEW AUTHOR FOR ME: no POSSIBLE TRIGGERS: noncon breeding, choking, face slapping, punching, past physical abuse (only mentioned, not described), explicit/graphic sexy times, MFMM, DP, swords cross, long spanking scene, word "rape" used many times (note: may not be what one might think).
CHARACTERS: Tough human gal with a smart mouth, Kenzie Carolyn Marten (25), and Aliens Atan (18), Orik (older than Atan, maybe by a generation or so?) & Raza (close to Orik's age).
Slower pace, but the author can definitely write a story and pull you in through the great world-building, rooting for the heroes to overcome the many challenges, despising the villains, and wraps it all up with an HEA epilogue.
Kenzie had a connection with all 3, but it felt like she favored one a bit more. And the sexy times? They were hot and quite adventurous. Some even made me blush (but if no one noticed - that doesn't count - right?)
As in her other works, this author does a great job with relationships. Noteworthy was the tenderness, pride, and affection expressed by his fathers to Atan.
So what have we learned? That first appearances/actions may not be what they seem. And, even alien men can act like cavemen, but they'll protect their female with their lives, and she'll enjoy every moment of them ensuring she stays alive.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
There are two reasons I give this book one less star rating than the first one.
First, the whole thing dragged a bit too much for me. It felt like there were a bit few too many filler scenes and it felt much slower than the book like this should be. When I read smut, I complain a lot how fast the book was going and I'd like to see more backstory. This time, it was going slower (but not many relevant details have been revealed so it just feels like it was dragged forever).
Second, the thing I was complaining about in the review of the last book (the fact it wasn't entirely consensual the whole time). This time, it is even more so, on both their sides. That makes me uncomfortable and it was hard to read at times.
First of all, let me just say that I am in love with all things Terramaran. Ms. Bequin has created a world full of aliens that I would LOVE to be a part of!!
Kenzie is by no means a broken vessel. Sure she has her flaws, don’t we all, but she will come to realize over the course of future events that she is a strong and courageous young woman. A loner and computer hacker by trade, she makes the mistake of breaking into the Galen Corporation and getting caught. If you read the first book, Their Human Vessel, then you know just how evil this company is. Galen Medical is by no means satisfied with their need for the males of this planet.
So, in order to avoid severe punishment Kenzie accepts a deal from Galen and finds herself on Terramaran inside the high-tech facility Tor Sarinox. It is here that Kenzie will meet the evil and sadistic Livia Galen. I’ve never hated a female character more than I hate Livia!! She has nefarious plans for the inhabitants of Terramara and nothing or no one is going to stop her. She then proceeds to tell Kenzie what she is really there for and the fate that awaits her.
This is where Kenzie will meet Raza as they are thrown together as part of Livia’s scheme. The ordeal that Livia puts them through is brutal but help is on the way in the form of Atan and Orik. I don’t want to give away anymore because it would ruin the experience for other readers. But I will tell you this much, when Kenzie and her men succumb to their needs and desires, it is HOT! HOT! HOT! I mean smokin’ HOT!!!
Ms. Bequin has written another fabulous story that you don’t want to miss. Each Terramaran male has a distinctive personality and physique. Atan is a young warrior just coming into his own, Raza is a tattooed man-child of sorts, and my personal favorite is Orik. He is a battle-scarred, gruff, older warrior who hides a tender heart. I couldn’t help but fall in love with the fussy old teddy bear.
Can Kenzie and her males save the planet of Terramara? Will the evil Livia Galen get what’s coming to her? And finally, will Kenzie find the home and family she never really had but longs for? Well, if you love sexy aliens with a protective streak and a spunky, sassy, female who is a fighter to the end, then you must read Their Broken Vessel. I highly recommend this series.

4.8 stars. So good! This one was much better than the first in my opinion. The relationships were much smoother and felt more genuine. There was still that ‘chosen one’ thing going on, but I feel like it took more of a backseat to their growing affections.
I loved it. It was super smutty and dirty. There were definitely times where things were traumatic and emotionally taxing. I’d check trigger warnings for sure before reading. But it all worked out in the end.
I was putting off reading it because I felt like the first book lacked the emotional connection with the main characters that I wanted, but this definitely had that. I’m glad I finally read it.
It was exactly what my little slutty heart wanted.
A complex, sexy, and layered story, there was a lot to unpack in here. Kensie, the hacker, is an independent loner. She gets herself into a situation. She's forced into a breeding program. It's an awful development. Then she's forced to do something reprehensible to stay alive, but she hates herself for it, but it's the beginning of the hotness that carries through to the end of the book. The plot starts to get more complicated. I almost stopped halfway through, there was an overabundance of wordy sections, but I normally love this author's work, so I kept reading. I thought they had just blown off the other prisoners, I thought she'd lost the plot, I almost stopped again, even though the mating scenes were on fire, so I kept going and I'm glad I did. Although this book is long and at times densely worded with too much description of mundane things, I'm totally glad that I didn't give up and read the whole thing!
I'm bouncing between a 4-4.5 with this. But WOW! This was really good and dark...but what would have probably made me scale it higher is one point. This book is definitely dark and I have a lot of things to say about it as warnings, since it does dive into things I didn't personally expect - which majority of my review has as warnings for readers.
One huge CW that has a bit of a weird gray line that I wasn't happy with at all, so let's unpack with this. Basically it's sex with a minor.
The first part of the book...IS ROUGH. Like ROUGH. It's dark super dark, which is not what I expected and also regarding rape.
It's hard - and it's hard to Kenzie and Raza, which I think the author did great in writing and the aftermath. There wasn't any gaslighting of any kind, and Kenzie does always remember what she did knowing it wasn't right, and same with Raza.
Again my main point for taking away any stars is Raza's situation. This book is dark and should be taken as that. I think for me the first part of the book in particular felt like a thriller/horror almost like vibe with just how crappy of a situation these guys are basically being MILKED for cum. This isn't the first sci-fi book I've read that's had something like this, but dang the author was really good in describing it in the right amount and yet also not being glorifying ANY of this based on the writing or being crazy detailed.
I do feel that there the relationship with Kezie had with the guy weren't entirely equal but the effort is there. They all do have the instalust (that and she'll die) - which I feel is the most apparent with Kenzie and Orik. I felt that though on an emotional/as the story developed - hers with Orik isn't as strong if I had to compare it to the others. I did like him though, but he definitely had the weakest development. To me, I felt that Kenzie and Raza were the strongest just because of how they went through everything and developed together in their relationship.
Things in particular I liked: - World building - it's described in a way that depicts everything while also not being over the top or under described on things - Sex starting in the second half (when Kenzie starts having sex with all three guys), the sexual content - it's hot, cum/marking, dirty talk (or more just crude sayings), the guys feeding her cum, pretty much almost everything from that point onwards - The unpacking of feelings with Kenzie and Raza - Kenzie logically making choices - she's not making them because she's dumb or crying - she's trying to survive. Are they morally right choices? No, but she's trying to again survive. It's the same as the MLs who kill - survival. - The fact that Kenzie is in her mid 20s at 25, and smart.
Things in particular I didn't: - Sex with a mentally 16 year old Raza (Atan's skirting that age at 18), - Sex where...Orik...and the guys are covered in dry gore from the humans they killed. It gets on Kenzie and is described, I guess she was later okay with it (she says it), but um...not for me! - Tease sex scenes, lol there's a few times where there's hints of a oncoming orgy/hot scene that does just fade into black. There's lot of hot scenes in this book, don't get me wrong - I'm just greedy and don't like being teased. This does happen in the epilogue though too just as a warning. - Ending tidied up really fast compared to the rest of the pacing of the book, as well as the emotional aspect in the character development at the end. I felt that after Kenzie's change - that also tied up as their feelings being "complete". - Missed opportunity: Orik finding out what the three were doing LOL
*Just because something isn't listed here doesn't mean there wasn't more or less of things I didn't like/dislike, some just fall under story reasons*
As I got to the later part I was like..."I need to read about Atan's mom and fathers!" ...I actually did purchase it already and it's been sitting in my library. However side note, this really confirms that this book is a standalone? I mean there were some slight (minor) questions, that didn't at all affect the story at all, that I'm sure will probably be answered in the first book. Although I'm sort of hesitant since even if it sounds like Atan's mom is clearly in a happy relationship guessing from this relationship...even Atan says how she is revered as the great breeder who helped kickstart their civilization again. But looking at some warnings though on that book, this book seems to definitely be a step up though by a lot.
Random other CWs: Sex with a minor mentally (16) who's a ML, noncon breeding, FL rapes one of the MLs (they are put into a situation of life or death, but it's a fact that everyone knows and acknowledges - FL & MLs. This does get addressed and appropriately in my opinion), said noncon breeding being watched (security cameras) and that person giving commentary, crude language (I had no problem, but for other reader to know "cunt" is used as the choice), spanking scene is where the uh dried gore bits are (only one spanking scene), swords cross but not in a MM way - there's no MM - there is a 2 vag + 1 anal (If there was a 3 vag and probably throw that honestly) *** The scary thing with these types of story premises is that the FL will be "examined" in some way ie vaginally, and although she does get forcibly stripped and leered at by non MLs - this did not happen.
This is definitely a full on length book, and MUCH kudos to the writer for putting this ALL in one book. I would've gone absolutely crazy if they were separated out like the parts, and this book has heavy content (in particular the first) - so that is great. Also this is definitely readable as a standalone. POVs are mostly to one character per chapter-ish. But they do switch sometimes mid chapter and it can be somewhat slightly confusing.
What I would give 5 stars to though is the way the author wrote Kenzie and her writing. There were some minor editing errors/typos, but for the most part I thought her worldbuilding and character development of Kenzie was good. Near the halfway point of the book I realized...they remind me of Avatar (the scifi movie one) - from their appearances to how their world is. Since they use spears, blue, are lanky, running swinging from trees, etc. However nothing had me eye-rolling at things that were in here.
I do also really look forward to Lizzy's next books, I honestly really do love her steam and world building (minus other said points). And hopefully it's not milked (pun totally intended) though on the same type of plot with humans basically wanting the immortally drug of alien cum.
I will once again state in this review what a fan I am of the author. I have been an ARC reader since her first book and she had me add a fan since. I always buy her books when they become available after I review them because I enjoy them so much.
One of my favorites was the first book, Their Human Vessel, in this world. I had always hoped that she would revisit the world and expand on the world-building by giving her readers another story. So I was really excited about this book.
As the book starts off, it's all ready really hard for me to want to relate with the FMC, Kendra, who is selfish and thinks the aliens of the world are little more than savages. I'm used to not liking the FMC in LizzyB's books in the beginning, so I expected it. What I was not expecting was for the character to basically rape the MMC, Raza, like the other humans had been doing for most of his life by using his body against him to get what they want. Being that the book uses multiple POVs, your able to get Kendra's perceptive as she uses him. I get that she needs him to stay alive, but her inner thoughts are cold and quite heartless as Raza is tied down in this cell with her, unable to communicate or move. It's just a very hard few pages to get through.
If you do make it through that situation, to them being saved, I wish I can tell you the first thing Kendra does when she meets someone she can communicate with is to tell Raza she is sorry but I would be lying. She is a character that takes a lot of growth and development in her character. She is not a character that catches those pesky "feelings" easily. You may spend most of the book hating her and her inability to face her emotions; but I promise you that if you don't tap out "DNF" and you make it to the end, you will appreciate the all she is able to overcome.
This book, probably more than any other I have read by the author, has had me going between seriously DNF and never picking it up again (which has never happened with one of her books). I really had to trust LizzyB to not be that kind of author. I felt that she had a reason for creating that situation for her characters that would drive them in their growth, so I pushed through and glad Idid.
As uncomfortable as the situation was, I felt like LizzyB does drop little breadcrumbs through the story, like how Kendra talking advantage of Raza for his seed to live was kind of like how humans where doing it to the rest of the Terramarans so they could live longer. Or when Raza realizes that there are "good" humans, like how Kendra took care of him when he was tied up, though she didn't have to. There were more complexities going on that I felt I could glean a the story progress. Or I could just be imagining it all🤔
Now I sit here pondering this book and I'm glad I finished it. It definitely has a more complex plot than the first book and the "seeding" scenes - OMG 😲 😳🤯💥 Yeah, they are hot, dirty, raunchy, smuttastic . . . I'm running out of words here but I hope you get the picture. Come on, what do you expect when the only thing that can keep you alive on an alien planet is a regular injection of💦. It's gonna get interesting. So I will leave you with this, the book has scenes of "rape" or forced-s3x because of the characters are put in situations where it is that or die; there is lots of kinky "medicine" needing to be given - keep this in mind because if that easily offends, this may not be the book for you.

What a power to have. The ability to invoke emotions, to make you cry simply with words on a page. The conflicting viewpoints that you have wehen two people cannot speak to each other and so cannot fully understand each other's reasons for their actions. Kenzie, has had some very odd dreams just recently but that hasn't stopped her from trying to hack into Galen servers and grab some information. Thing is she has been caught and that is what has landed her, literally, on another planet. She is to be a guinea pig. if she survives she has the rest of her life at the hands of Galen or she'll be dead. She has a tremendous will to live which might just be the saving grace or more than just herself. Raza has spent more than half his life in a tube, in stasis, being used as a living sperm bank. He is brought round and thrown into a room with a human, a being he hates more than anything else. What kind of other feelings could he ever have for them? Atan is young, not quite fully into manhood yet, but he knows that his salvation will come from the stars. He tries to reach out for her, to bring her near but she is always somehow just out of his grasp. Orik has lived through one plague already watching as his people suffered and all the Terramaran females perished including his sister. He is scarred inside and out and feels as though he is destined to a solitary future aside from helping his brothers here and there. Despite the arrival of the humans and the possibility of saving their race from extinction, he does not ever envisage having a mate. Can these four pieces fit together to make a whole? Can despair, rage, impatience and pessimism bloom into hope and love?
Another mesmerizing story by my favorite top storytelling author. Lizzy Bequin has a unique way of getting into my head to the point when I get one of her books I can't put it down and as a result everything to do with daily life is put on the back burner. They say crime doesn't pay and in the case Kenzie finds that out in the worst way imaginable. She is a hacker and is caught hacking into the computer system of a company who allegedly have found the Fountain of Youth. They give her a choice - being charged and possibly going to jail or accepting a job making sure the computer system security is topnotch. Only catch - the job is "off world". She accepts and is shunted off to Terramara. Once there she finds out to her horror that she is there - not to secure their computer systems but to be bred. The fountain of youth is in actuality the semen from male Terramarans who are encapsulated in steel pods and milked like cattle. I'm not going to go into the adventures Kenzie experiences - it would take far too long, but I will say that the story flows beautifully. The meeting of first one alien - then the other two is well written and beautifully thought out. Kenzie finds she has an inner strength she didn't know she had, and what she goes through - that inner strength is put to the test time and time again. There are triggers in this book so if you as a reader are easily offended - don't get this one, but if you crave adventure, emotion, sexy, hot alien men who are dominant in everything - you'll love this story. I recommend any book with Lizzy Bequin's name on the cover.
This book is not for the faint hearted and there are some triggers that will up set a few but overall I loved it and the author is brilliant and who can weave a story that hooks you in and leaves you breathless and still wanting more. Kenzie Marten is a hacker and hasn’t been caught until now and instead of going to prison she agrees to work for Galen corporation on the planet Terramara under the impression that she was checking to see if the Gelen medical system is hacker proof but that was a lie and as her punishment for being caught she will be a breeder to the aliens healed captive and this is where she first meets Raza who doesn’t seem to like anyone but the human female that’s been thrown in with him quips his interest and his desires but how long can they last against the evil Livia Gelen who runs the centre and all the experiments. But not for much longer because Raza’s friends are coming to save him and they do but the don’t leave the human Kenzie behind and she is about to be shared amongst them as there mate. Raza, Orik, Atan are strong warriors in there own right and each one brings something different to the table that Kenzie likes but they have two desires kill and breed and so now they have a mate that they will protect with there dying breath and breed strong warriors with. There is so much more to this book there’s action, drama, suspense, evil, danger, violence, strong non consensual pairings but some really hot and steamy ones as well. Great book and a must read.

This book was so good - a lot longer than Lizzy's usual stories, way longer than the first entry in this series, and I'm so glad she didn't edit down the size. We jump right into the action with Kenzie getting caught trying to dupe a shadowy corporation and making a deal to do a task on Terramarra in exchange for her freedom. But she's duped and imprisoned. From there she meets Raza, another prisoner and they go through a difficult time before they are rescued and the adventure takes a different turn.
I like the way the male/female power dynamics are turned around between Kenzie and Raza with both unwilling yet unable to not continue with what is essentially a non-con event for both. And this dynamic continued as Kenzie still needed the help of Raza and the other aliens to save her life. It felt like while there was a lot of heat the whole situation was handled sensitively especially with Kenzie trying to come to terms with herself in the aftermath.
It's a long one but so worth it, the plot is smooth and the world and character building superb.
This is the second book in the Terramarra series. It is set 25 years after the first book. Kenzie is tricked into coming to Terramarra. She thinks she is coming to test their computer systems to see if hackers can get in. In actuality, she is brought there to be bred so that the Galen corporation can have babies. She is put in a chamber with Raza in the hope that he will be desperate to breed. But they both have more will power than Livia Galen believes. She finds a way to force them, but then Kenzie and Raza are rescued by Atan and Orik and the four of them eventually become mates.
I enjoyed this second book immensely. I can't go into too much detail because it will give away the whole plot of the book. Just know that this is a great book and I highly recommend it.
I received a advance copy of this book via Booksprout and this is my honest review.
Kenzie is caught breaking into a secure facility, given a choice of arrest or going to Terramara to stress test the cyber security systems at the Galen facility. She goes and finds out what really has been planned for her and it is not good. First she meets Raza and they are thrown together into a cell. She needs something from him to stay alive. Atan and Orik join them and their situation gets really difficult, with lots of in depth Steamy scenes.( Pun intended. ) Hard to put this book down. Great read but there are triggers so be aware. Lizzy does a great job world building and developing her characters. And a HEA , which is very important to me.

This was another winner by Lizzy Bequin! The world building was vivid and fascinating, and the plot was full of action, danger, and high stakes. The plot was detailed while hanging together well. The heroine was fairly nuanced and very sympathetic, with strengths and weaknesses. The heroes were not as well drawn, but that is a pretty common problem in single title reverse harem romances. The heat level was SIZZLING, five chili peppers’ worth! I had an absolute blast reading this novel, because it was bonkers in the most delicious way. I look forward to reading the next book in this series, and I will definitely buy myself a keeper copy! Keep ‘em coming, Lizzy! Thank you for a great stress-relieving, fun couple of hours on a Friday night.

What can i say but i really liked this. Consent, non consent this was certainly interesting because it all centres around a long timeline from the start to the now. Men prisioned for their seed, and then one womens greed to breed the aliens to earth women in hope to bring about the change. Kenzie caught hacking into a company is sent to Terramara. But once she gets there she realises that she is there for a breeding programme amd definately not there for company security.
This is a mmmf book and while it is a stand alone, it really is best to read the other books in this series because you know what has happened in the past. But its what happens here with Kenzie and her men that make the most difference in this story. I am really pleased that this author wrote this because it really does make a really great and interesting story.
Kenzie was caught hacking the Galen Corporation and finds herself in a cell with a large alien. Kenzie Marten into the Galen Corporation to try and get details of the process to synthesize Juvanis which is the semen of Terramaran mates whose planet they had taken killing the females and enslaving the males to extract the semen. An uprising had freed the males but now Galen was claiming to be making it synthetically and Kenzie know the secret would be worth a lot if she could steal it. Hacking into the Corporation's computer to find it she is caught and tricked into going to Terramara where she finds herself thrown into a cell with one very angry Terramaran male.

Quick little run down. Maybe more later. This is similar to book 1 in a lot of ways but the details are diff. -RH alien and a human h -breeding -h is forced to use the H while they are captives and forced into a breeding program. -these mates are very diff. Atan is a young boyish one with psychic gifts. Orik is an older battle worn warrior with a peg leg. Raza was a recently released from the cytochamber to be used for the breeding program with h. All of there bonds with the h are diff. -I wish there was more development with the individual bonds. -same kinda issue, evil medical company farming the aliens seed for a fountain of youth pill. They are trying to force breeding in secret 🤫. The aliens rise up and save the day of course -HEA
One human woman and three terramara males of different ages & backgrounds on an epically-sinister-brutally-sexy-times-scifi-action-adventure together...starts to describe Lizzy Bequin's new book: Their Broken Vessel: A Dark Sci-fi Romance. Kenzie, the human and her 3 mates: Atan, Raza & Orik go thru a lot together. Lizzy writes plenty of character development, interesting world-building, backstories, alien chemistry and deliciously savage sex in all of her books...which is the same for this newest one. Lizzy Bequin always delivers one wild ride of a story! 😊🌴🌺 I received an ARC from Booksprout for my honest review.
I read Their Human Vessel a bit ago, when I was correcting my terrible wrong of not having read all the books by this author. It’s lingered. I’ve thought about and re-read it several times.
That being said, I was super excited when I got the newsletter announcing this release and worried I was setting myself up for disappointment. Were my expectations were just too high? I don’t know why, this IS a Lizzy Bequin book after all and she’s released amazing book after amazing book. And this book did not disappoint!
The world and characters where developed and exciting, layered and with depth. The heat was swoon worthy, the conflicts and adventure page turning.
An absolute 5-star from me, and I’m already thinking about it and will foresee some re-reading ASAP.

Kenzie normally doesn't get caught or at least she didn't, however this time caught and facing time in prison unless she works for the corporation she agrees , however nothing given on a platter is to be trusted. Once on Terramarra, she quickly realises it was all a lie, and she has been sent under false pretenses to be a breeder for Galen Medical. For the local population, the natives who rescue her, she is potentially the answer to their prayers and they have no intention of letting her go. But with the humans after them, will she allow herself to be seasoned and seeded to survive the harsh planet and will she be the answer to their prayers?

This time, it’s Kenzie traveling to Terramara, finding her mates and saving the day, but it’s certainly not an easy journey. I just loved this story; it’s twice the size of Their Human Vessel, allowing for a more interactive and diverse story. Lizzy Bequin weaves a vibrant yet bleak world in Terramara, and the lives of Kenzie, Atan, Raza and Orik are vividly portrayed. I particularly liked that this story was split into three parts, but contained all in one book (as opposed to split up and leaving the reader with cliffhangers). A truly terrific book (as one would expect from Ms. Bequin).
Warning ⚠️: This book contains scenes of violence, non-consensual sex, abuse and other issues that may not be appropriate for all readers. I have to say that this is probably one of Lizzy Bequins darkest books to date. All of the characters have issues to overcome and do struggle with their lives. Sure, most of the intimate scenes are hot, but you have to be prepared to experience the sour before you get to appreciate the sweet. As always, the world building is detailed and vivid. The characters are well developed and you get multiple points of view. Plenty of drama, mystery, adventure, violence and, yes, even romance made this story a fast read that was hard to put down.

If you read the previous books, you would know by now that Galen Industries is not going to give up easily and you would be right. We follow the story of Kenzie who decided to try and hack them. She ends up on Terramara but not the way she expected and, I will not spoil the story, ends up in the company of 3 hulking aliens..

Kenzie is tricked into going to Terramare, she believes she is their to teat the computer security. The real reason is far more sinister. The Galen people are up to their old tricks. Kenzie has some difficult choices ahead and Atan, Raza and Orik are just the aliens to help her escape and survive the harsh environment.. This is a steamy read with plenty of adventure great world building and strong characters. I look forward to reading more by this author/

Okay so first and foremost, I had every intention of slowly reading this and savoring this. I only made it a few chapters before accepting I needed to just binge read. 🤣
If you're a Lizzy lover, then let me just say, thiIs book will be everything you expect it to be, and yet, you'll still be blown away by how good it is. There's so much more world building, but it flows naturally.
And our little "group ", oh my gosh, what a start for them. My heart broke but they handled it as they could. I don't want to say too much, but another great read.
This is the second book in this sci-fi read but it can be read as a standalone. Kenzee is from Earth and a computer hacker and when she is tricked, she is sent Terramarra and will be used as a breeder. Will Raza, Atan and Orik be able to keep her safe? Fast-paced read with lots of twists and turns. Great characters, lots of action and plenty of steam. I liked it.
This isn't a short story but well worth the read. Kenzee is a computer hacker from Earth who's tricked and sent to Terramarra to become a breeder. She's caged in a chamber with Raza and the Galen corporation is hoping they will breed. They are both rescued by Atan and Orik and Kenzee and Raza find that they are mates. This is a fast paced story with twists, action, great characters and plenty of steam. Loved it. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Wow!! All the smut my smutty loving hear needed!! I love the story behind this world and humans…in the quest to live forever, the thins we would do… plus in order to stay alive and fulfill a vision. Great story, world building, I absolutely loved Dee. I hope there are more added to this series!!
I can handle a lot of things but I draw the line at abusive behavior. This book is just rape after rape after rape and then 2 of the MMC’s hit the FMC. And later on when one gets angry she tenses and is afraid and he is just one with the fact that she fears him.
A slightly different spin on the genre - I like it even if the whole premise just initially made me smile. Great characters and well written throughout.
