Written in a workbook format for you & your future spouse.

This book dives deep into discussions of family history, upbringing, future expectations, finances, faith, relationships with families & friends, conflict resolution, etc. Although the questions are repetitive at times, this book certainly launches you into necessary and beneficial conversations. It was particularly impressive how the author addressed difficult topics in a respectful manner without bypassing them.

Loved working through this with my fiancé for premarital counseling! A good chunk of this book included topics we randomly brought up before (a surprise to the ones working with us), but I loved the intentionality behind forcing us to talk about it again and in an order that makes sense.
This book emphasizes communication and interdependence in your marriage, with God being the foundation of everything.

This book has some really great chapters and some really useless ones.

But it’s a good prep for marriage nonetheless!
