A great resource for team leaders and volunteers interested in growing within their ministry. There are a lot of valuable perspectives on serving others. Some parts felt a bit repetitive in the early and mid-points, but the actual content is spot on!

I feel like I'm walking away with an empowered perspective to serve with excellence. This is definitely a book I will recommend to other ministry leaders.

Fabulous book for church leaders at all levels. There are so many lessons you can use and share both in the business and church environment.

Rodney Shaw is a learner who shares the wisdom he has gathered over the years. For some, this book will challenge their long-held paradigms, while validating others who have wondered why no one else sees the world of church-work differently.

If you desire to grow your church, business or abilities, this book will guide you through the pitfalls that hinders a lot of leaders. I will be using this book as a reference for many years!

I cannot say enough good things about this book. It’s an annual reader, and it should be for all “leaders AND followers.”

This is an excellent book! One of the best efforts to approach leadership from a truly biblical view.

The idea of follower-centric leadership and the need for us to personally develop as followers, not just as leaders really impacted me. It challenged and shifted my thinking.

The book covers a wide range of things related to church work, but these two concepts alone are worth reading.
I’ll likely reread in the next several months.

A MUST READ

This book is written to the Apostolic Church by an Apostolic Pastor and Author, and should be mandatory reading for anyone wanting to lead in their local church.

It’s written in a format that is easy to read. I actually found myself struggling to put the book down at times. This is not another boring leadership book.

I strongly recommend reading this book.

This is likely the best book I've ever read on ministry. The information is relevant and applicable, while the writing is conversational, not dry and tedious. I'd recommend it to anyone involved in ministry.
