The lost world rises by Pranay bhalerao is the 2nd part to Lost world.
The book tells about 3 different character and 2 distinct scenario/environment. Showing deapth of emotions, love and guilt, it is a turn on for triller lovers.
The author has shown the impact of being powerful in this materialistic world. You should check out the first one(book) to understand the whole story. The twisted narration makes you more curious to read it till the end.
What happens when they try to compete with each other?? What if no one wants to step back or one of them is stubborn??
you have to give it a try.
The cover is appealing and language is rich. Highly recommended, it is a must read !!

A compulsive one

"The lost world rises" by Pranay Bhalerao is a continuation of 'The lost world'.Where, Pranay was finding his way to home and helped some tribes to survive. Here, the conflicts between Jarawa and Ramtirtha tribes are given.

Here, one tribe fights for the basic needs to survive and the other fights for modernity. The story is more interesting as it unfolds the secrets as : How Apoorv found his father? How Apoorv helped the tribes? What happened at the end?

All the characters are powerful. Title of a book is good and the language is lucid. It's full of thrill and suspense. Highly recommended.

After having read the first part, i had high expectations from the author and the next book.
The plot continues from the prequel, the protagonist Apoorva is still in the jungle, only this time he has been accepted by the tribe. With extensive twists and plots in this part, Apoorva finds his lost connection with the tribe and also declares that his father Ramtirtha is alive. On the other hand, Satya the underworld mafia is raged and decides to avenge the condition his son has been put into. A major war between two groups await.
I liked the way the story continues and the conflict between forest and modern civilization continues. The plot, the characters, the revelation of identity of protagonist and the wars were very descriptive. The writing is lucid. However, i did expect a bit of more from the ending, maybe a more climax and revenge, since the story proceeded that way. But all in all, a book that will keep you on edge

QoTD - What would you do if someone enter into your home by force and make you to live according to his own ways?

Genre - Suspense Thriller
Book Cover reminded me of - When Kattappa killed Bahubali in the Movie Bahubali!😁

The Story in the sequel "The Lost World Rises" begins on a very serious note which chilled my spine. Basically, the Duology consists of connecting two very different worlds. One world wanted to know about the Other's World, whereas the Other World suffers because of the intervening nature of the first one.
Two tribes, the Jarawa Tribe and other, the Ramtirtha's Tribe, Politics and an NGO with the name, Atman give rise to a gripping storyline. The prequel "The Lost World" ended with Apoorav gaining trust of the tribal people by fighting for the cause of the Tribe.
The sequel is about the existing worries of the Jarawa Tribe related to the island where they have spent their entire life in an holistic way, and now which the Modern Man wanted to take hold of, for their own use, to make it a perfect place for their business to prosper.
Apporav who now belong to the Jarawa Tribe, is the the son of Ramtirtha, leader of another Tribe. With the return of Ramtirtha, the fear shoots up in his brother, Shanitirtha, who was ruling the Jarawa Tribe since Ramtirtha left.
It's a run on to, who takes the authority over the people? Who will become the King? Who will rule the people? ( War of Thrones😉)
Here, Apporav is no doubt, a very interesting character, which I will thank the Author for introducing such a Man, who represented the Moderns and Tribals, altogether. He is the symbol of the Two diverse civilization. In the first part, he was suffering with the questions of his own Identity and in the second, he peeled the onion, layer by layer. 😁
It's thrilling in tone with lot of criminal actions, Pandit Ji, as a character filled with patience and far-sightednss, Mantri Ji adding a tinge of politics in the plot, Satya mixing horror for the people of the Tribe and a father, on the other hand, who is upto a revenge for his Son Vishnu.
A truly wonderful story about the tribal people, who fear of losing their existence or being left behind in between the world of Moderns ,which fully resonates with the reader
To sum up is to say 'Pick the Duology!'

5th Book of 2023

Well, this is 3rd book of Pranay Bhalerao that I have completed reading within 3 months itself. It seems as if I have been living in the world created by the author since all this time. Thankfully, his new book is yet to be released and I can now finally move on to other authors. Haha! I am done reading the sequel of “The Lost World” named “The Lord World Rises” which is published by the author himself. The book is written in around 300 pages which is 90 pages more than the 1st part of the duology. To start with, I must say that the publishing quality of the book is maintained so well that it’s hard to believe that it has not been touched by any leading traditional publisher. Kudos to author for giving his all to the book.

This book, definitely, extends to a better scale and brings to you unexplored sectors that were not included in the 1st book at all. Pranay’s writing style remains mostly the same – OBVIOUSLY – but the way the story is written is comparatively interesting. The chapters stay crisp making it easier for you to explore the world of both- 1980s and 2000s. The shift in the characters’ attitude and aura is nicely handled making it passionate for most moments. All the characters are finally ready to take revenge or complete their goals which were left incomplete. Hence, as a reader, you stay alert throughout the book as there are characters planning, plotting, strategizing, revenging and fighting against each other.

In between of all this adrenaline rushes, there’s a section of two characters – Ramtirtha and Naina where they are on an escape. And as our Bollywood culture suggests, they eventually fall for each other and hence, a romantic relationship establishes. All those segments are beautifully described and makes you feel loved – even if you are single. I endorse this claim. Haha! I like how author was able to bring both the generations together where all the characters have their own role to play and yet ensures that no one gets sidelined. I just felt that Surya could have also been involved a bit more but anyway, the inclusion of Shanitirtha, Ramtirtha and Apoorav has been a phenomenal camaraderie to read. Again, Apoorav is bit sidelined compared to how he was treated in Book 1 – he could have been made a hero in this book with the kind of character development author had done in the previous part.

The story involves a Doctor, Politician, Police, Gangster, NGO team and a Pandit as well. You can imagine the storyline. The book is like a written version of Gangs of Wasseypur and multiple web-series we have watched in recent times where characters are inter-related with each other – each of them having their own dark past and tough future. There are lot of actions, death, violence, tragedy and other elements which gives the depth to the layers of the story and makes you understand the level of pain it takes for few people to undergo a life they never wished to live. I liked how author started wrapping the story slowly in the pre-climax without rushing like the previous book. You are able to feel all the emotions which are described for the characters – where some of them go through pain whereas some of them find success.

Now, talking about the drawbacks- I must say that the book consists of some grammatical and spelling mistakes – which wasn’t the case with the Book 1. I don’t know how it got skipped in this one. Secondly, the book could have been kept under 250-pages as I felt there are many scenes which doesn’t add up to the story. The same characters in both the timelines did create confusion this time and made it difficult at times to keep myself up with what happened within which timeframe. That’s it.

Overall, the Lost World series is a wonderful one to spend your time with. You will definitely not be disappointed. There’s a lot of mystery, thriller and suspense which keeps on getting intense with the story progression. I give “The Lost World Rises” 3.75* out of 5. Awaiting Pranay to come back with a new book soon.

Thanks!

Books at the end, never disappoint. Author tends to keep up the humanity and so do I crave for that. While working on thesis of how people in the forest tend to keep up the nature and the greenary intact, I've seen how on the other end there are those who choose to go against their will and harm the nature, the tusk of elephants and how they even snatch away the peace of tribal people who pray to the trees.
Like things which are old which delivers a feeling bold memorable, this book brings up kind of similar essence throughout the read with its beautifully characterized characters and a quite friendly narration style. Instead, the book speaks of quite an interesting tale where the author recites the tale in a manner appealing yet lacks a little engaging skill in terms of narration. The book isn't long or the kind of read which speaks of things needless things and instead, introduces a beautiful aroma like environment throughout the read with the emotions which Apoorva has for the tribe and Andaman's tale but finds it difficult to elaborate through verbal means. The title actually holds a secret to the story and so does the cover which is magnificent and smoothly built up. The set of words used by author to describe a few feelings in alternate chapters were all next to a true beauty and worth the time I took in reading. Such books easily build up a bond with the reader and I found how a mere set of words gave rise to a lost feeling inside of me once again.
I liked the way author chose to confront the humans with his set of words which speaks of things that actually has to matter and is of a serious issue. While author has proposed a good work through the narration, I could also see that how readers have grasped a learning from this book. Rare are the books which deliver a teaching and this book kind of succeeds in doing that although the pace did lack a bit in terms of expectations. Narration was quite well and is the plotline the book's based upon. Fighting the evil minded ones, requires more than just a strong minded will power. I liked how one positive cause makes the negative set of minds turn positive.

Two parallel worlds.. two different ways of living.. two different sets of beliefs.. two entirely different ecosystems.. Will they be able to co-exist? Will they survive each other's worlds?

This sequel to The Lost world talks about the hunger for power, the way the powerful manipulate the poor to satisfy their needs, how modern men encroaches the forests to conduct their illegal activities, how they treat tribal people like worms and much more.

The sequel takes us through the lives of two tribes, the Jarawas and Ramthirtha's tribe. Ganesh and few others try to help the Jarawas from falling into the trap Satya has set up. At the same time, Satya plans to enter the forest tricking the government, using counterfeit entry passes into the otherwise secured area. In another timeline, Ramthirtha and Apoorav, along with the tribals fight with Vishnu's and Deven's men using the seized arms, after holding Vishnu captive. Then there is an array of characters who hold importance throughout the story, like Aslam, Zafar, Rehan, Dr. Rajesh, Prasad and Dev.

Will the tribes lose their habitats? Will there be bloodshed? Will the lost word really rise or succumb to the destructive activities of the modern men?

The sequel is much more interesting and fast paced than the prequel. The different timelines, and parallel events are narrated in a very intriguing manner, without leaving the reader confused. However, towards the end chapters, Satya's name seemed to have replaced Surya's name, which left me mazed for a little bit. The duology is an easy to get through thriller and beginner friendly as well.

The Lost world ends with Apoorva, our protagonist, earning the trust of the Jarava tribe by fighting for their cause and bringing them victory. But now another external force is here to force the tribe’s hand, which is the Ramtirtha’s tribe. The book gets on a rollercoaster here, when Apoorva’s relations to the other tribe come to light.

The story starts on a serious note and sends a chill down my spine. The duology is connecting the two worlds of the novel together. The two parallel worlds are completely different but the fight to co-exist together is in question. Especially when the different worlds their existence is known to each other and the actions to interfere in each other’s world is being detrimental to all. The Other World is also going through its turbulences.

The book addresses a lot of issues existing in its world and in our world. And all these would resonate with any reader picking up the book. And the struggle to preserve their ecosystems should hit us readers a little more, especially when it is shown to crumble to modern man's greed.

The sequel was definitely a page turner. The confusion between the narratives of the different timelines was lesser this time around and I would like to state that the sequel delivered what “The Lost World” was hinting at.

It’s a great Duology and I would like to thank the author @Pranay Bhalerao for allowing me to these books and trusting an honest opinion.

This is the sequel to The Lost World. It has 30+ chapters and 287 pages. In the previous book, there were only 2 timelines. There are two entirely different ecosystems. Will they be able to co-exist? Will they survive each other's worlds, that’s the mystery here.

Introducing new characters in the story seriously makes it more interesting and everything is making sense at the end, and have all the answers that the reader tries to find after reading the first sequel.
In the first book of “The Lost World Duology,” we read how Apoorva helped the tribe to survive, here we see the conflicts within the tribe. The world expanding, there are some new characters in the second installment.

In the squeal there are two different tribes are introduced, the Jarawas and Ramthirtha's tribe.

Every moment there is a development in the plot. The narration keeps alternating between 1981 and 2021.

The sequel is much more interesting and fast-paced. The different timelines and parallel events are narrated in a very intriguing manner, solving every confusion of the reader.

Worth reading after the first book. All the questions were resolved. It’s filled with action, romance, emotions, family values, and friendship.

Title: The Lost World Rises
Author: Pranay Bhalerao

Review:

“The Lost World Rises” by Pranay Bhalerao is a sequel to the enthralling best seller “The Lost World”. Taking the story forward and connecting the chains , the second book captures the gripping contest for the throne of the so called “Lost World”. Juggling between different timelines and multitudinous rivalries emerging from old and fresh wounds, this part offers a palette of human emotions like faith, betrayal, love and revenge which gives book definite and distinct colour.

On one hand Shanitirtha is rattled by the sudden appearance of his brother Ramtirtha. On the other hand are their mutual foes Satya and Vishnu again conspiring to hit back. Amidst all this is the NGO Atman which is trying to pump some fresh air into the lives of tribes. As the story unfolds, a hell lot of substance hitherto hidden comes out open, what earlier seemed accidental now clearly appears artificial and planned. Where will this all end up? To know more grab the copy of “The Lost World Rises” and trace this exciting story.

Overall, written in simple and lucid language, “The Lost World Rises” is way more intriguing and dramatic compared to first instalment of the series, I was definitely lost in its absorbing plot and characters. It also satisfied the queries that popped into my mind after reading “The Lost World”. And going by the climax I can smell another part of this super series.

Highly Recommended!

This Lost World Rises is an amazing story which throws light on the lost world of tribes of Andaman who are living their life under the constant fear of getting exploited by the modern people like us. This book depicts the war between modern civilization and the tribal communities.

This story revolves around Ramtritha and Aslam who decide to avenge the death of their loved ones from the same person, Vishnu. This story has many subplots like saving tribal communities and the search operation. Past and present in this story are so well connected. The story is conveyed in a simple yet gripping manner.

I was thrilled with details mentioned in every scene. Apart from a revenge story, I liked the relationship dynamics between the characters specially friendship bonds. The ending has left me at cliffhanger that actually who wins. But that's the lesson of war, it left you with sadness of pain rather than the happiness of victory.

This book is the perfect blend of romance, suspense & emotions.
This book is the sequel of "The Lost World", which you can read before reading this one. I am sure you will enjoy reading it.
This book is a must read if you are into thriller and crime stories.

Author has calculated a series of facts before penning down this read. To keep up the newness and emotions up and to make one stick with humanity, the work proposed by author appears new and unique. I liked the manner through which one positive cause makes the dull set of thoughts turn positive. Multitude of voices are employed to reveal the mindset and dive deeper into the inner thought process of the characters as they narrate their tale. It is where different voices and their shifting points of views merge together to form a college of human nature, their thoughts, behavior and opinions.
The contrasts is certain to open up several points of discussion.
The book skilfully combines various themes bringing out the modern issues of the society at the same time. The author's brilliant idea of using multiple voices aids the book to serve the purpose.

The story presents different points of view regarding the institution of Nature with its bondage and loose ends and offers a strong opinion on the right or wrong. The ending quite easily brings up a proper resolution and answer the troubling questions of the modern generation with its outlook and lifestyle.

Title - The Lost World Rises
Author - Praney Bhalerao
Genre - suspense thriller

'The Lost World rises' by Praney Bhalerao is the second part of 'The Lost World' series. I really liked the first part so I couldn't resist reading the next one. I have read the Author's previous work so I had to pick this book. The book contains the Gangs, crime, tribes, etc. This is the extension of the book "The Lost World" The story followed by too many characters despite these many characters the author has kept the story intend and smooth. The modern greed and the effects of same on social behaviour are fundamentally negative, as it is not bounded by any boundaries and limitations.

The story has the elements like faith, revenge, crime, Tribes, etc.
The story is all about the jarawa tribe from Andaman and the deeprooted crime at the same place. Satya, who is an underworld don is now planning to attack the village because of his son mental state. Appoorv is a hero of this plot of the story who is inculcated with the good human nature also helped Tribes from the eyes of modern man. There are numerous twists and turns plotted in the story I'm the life of Appoorv and Tribes.

Read the book to unfold further plot. I liked the story. It moves at a faster pace, full of unpredictable twists and turns that holds the attention of the reader. Language of the book is reader friendly and lucid. The narration style of the author is captivating. I liked how author portrayed everything. Overall good one. I enjoyed reading it.

Apoorav has announced that his father Ramtirtha is alive and will return. While the entire village is rejoicing, their King, is unhappy. There is an unsolved conflict in the past which he is trying to silence.

On the other hand, Satya the underworld don, intends to avenge his sons mental breakdown by planning an attack on the village which will annihilate the entire village and it's rich habitation. How will the village fight a massive army amidst the bitter infighting?

Decades back, the Jarawa tribe in Andaman are attempted to be rescued by the Atman NGO but they face Satya whose influence has been clawing on them viciously. Is this related to the present conflict with the village?

This twisted, action thriller is an absolute page turner. Every moment there is a development in the plot. The narration keeps alternating between 1981 and 2021.

This is the second book in the The Lost World Duology. To understand the plot better, reading the first book is advised because the character building and the background set up is done in the previous one. It contains violence and mentions the use of drugs. Hence it must be read under discretion just like the previous one.

Book:- The Lost World Rises

The sequel to "The Lost World" authored by Pranay Bhalerao is one of the most interesting reads. Scribbled with depicting two parallel worlds & two different ways of living the author had tried to establish two unique sections of beliefs. Will the two different ecosystems ever co-exist?

A Powerful story with Tantalizing narration

The lost world rises is the sequel of the marvellous novel The lost world. Backing the previous plot the author has maintained the uniqueness and freshness with this novel also. Deceptively simple and quietly appealing plot hinges on the story of the two tribal groups and the modern man.

The track started from a very high note and the intensity was maintained throughout. The plot runs parallel between 1980 and 2021. Featuring many new and old characters like Naina, Satya , Ramtirtha, Apoorv, Panditji , Surya and many that make the story line powerful. It starts taking turn with the deal between Satya and Aslam. One needed protection of his slum and the other his entry to the jungle. Both serving each others purpose.

The return of Ramtirtha father of Apoorav leaving his brother Shanithirtha in shock. The moder civilization man, the tribals there existence, the hunger of power and benifits make this novel captivating till the final page.

It's title invites the readers. The feeling that something will end, the urge of protection the fear of losing. You will never have a reading experience quite as propulsive and enjoyable like this .

This book is a sequel to the suspense thriller, The lost world by Pranay Bhalerao.

Apoorav is reunited with his people and enlightens them about the past. He brings back the lost connection of his tribe and helps them stand united once again for the bigger war that awaits.( Am not giving any spoilers. Not even from the first book. Sorry!😋)

As I said, I was really hanging there at the edge of the cliff, by the end of the first book. And this book, totally took me deep into the abyss. 🤯🤯🤯Every chapter, starting with the very first one is really exciting. The roles of the most important people in the duology are well spunned. The villains from the two timelines are equally competent. It's like I was rooting for the revenge on behalf of Apoorav and his men. I was gnashing my teeth when Apoorav's team takes someone down. That was the impact this book had on me. But, I was not happy that, how subtly it all ended. Might be because I so much owned it that I craved for vengence.😅😅😅

Overall, it's a superb suspense-action, that will entice you in every aspect. Pick this duology to unravel some action, this weekend. 😉😉😉

I was just waiting for the perfect moment to share the review of this book with you guys. I held this book highly in my priority list and this book made the best out of my time. As I have already read Book 1, ‘The Lost World’ and as soon as I discovered this book, I couldn’t hold back my excitement. All of the author’s writing contains such richness and ethnicity, which makes the read more appealing.
This book will reveal new challenges were introduced in this book. A lot of new faces were unmasked; the way the author has twisted and turned the plot at every flicking moment made it more venturesome to read. The unique writing style can snatch your instant attention and one will be entrapped in its pages forever. The book is like a portal to whole different world, and this is the magic of this book. Where one is struggling to survive while the other is trying to store modernity, making some tough choices are bound to take place. Our hero, Apoorva is faced with new challenges, and he has a decision to make that will embark his way to future. With a mesmerising storyline, this book is a must read.

The story of "Lost World Rises by Pranay Bhalerao" is alternatively narrated between 1981 and 2021.
Due to a unsolved conflict between the jungle tribe and the underworld don satya, they are still between a massive fight, of which apoorav is trying to end. He founds out that his father is alive and will return. While the entire village is rejoicing the moment, the king not seems to be very happy. On the other way Satya is planning an attack on the village.

To know all the answers of all your questions you need to read the book by your own unless this amazing story with such thrill and it's twists can't be explained here.

This story has a lot to say. It'll show you the reality of today's world . How the powerful people treats the tribal or the powerless people in need of more and more power. The hunger of power never dies for them.

As this story is a sequence of The Lost World by pranay Bhalerao so it is recommend to read that book to understand the story better.

The lost World rises is a sequel of the lost World.

Apoorav's father Ramtirtha is back to his tribe after 40 years. All the tribe people were delighted seeing Ramtirtha back except for one person, Shanitirtha, Ramtirtha's own brother..

This sequel contains two timelines, 1981 and 2021. It is also about the two tribes, The Jarawa Tribe and The Ramtirtha's Tribe.

In 1981, while Ganesh with two more people went to save Jarawa tribe from Satya and his evil plans, Naina was stuck in the jungle with Ramtirtha. How are Naina and Ramtirtha are going to make their way out of that jungle alive? Will Ganesh be able to save The Jarawa Tribe?

There are so many plots and twists in this sequel with so many new characters' entry which makes this sequel even more interesting than the prequel.

Even with so many characters in the book nothing gets confusing. The Author did a great job. I really enjoyed reading both the parts.

There was a very good combination of thrill, romance, emotions as well as family values.

It is surely a must read if you're specially interested in thriller.

PS: I really liked the trio of Apoorav, Surya and Raksha. Their friendship was very beautiful💮

The Lost World Rises
By:- Pranay Bhalerao

THE END
The end of a great war between two of the most powerfull armies of the world. One army having weapons powered by modern technology other army having handmade weapons made by basic wood and stone.

This book continues the story from its prequel "The Lost World".
This book uncovers the mystery of the deeds and history of Satya, Vishnu, Ramtirtha, and Shanitirtha. The rivalry between Satya, Vishnu and Ramtirtha, misunderstanding between Ramtirtha and Shanitirtha. Romantic life of Ramtirtha and Naina.

The story shows the true nature of our modern men. Who is ready to kill the innocents and wipe out the whole tribe just for some amount of money.

The end was quite unexpectedly expected but was senseful. The discriptions of action scene and war was detailed at its best, feeled like it's actually happening in real life. The story is fascinating.

Overall the story is great, suspenseful, thriller, with a lot of mystorious and fascinatingly detailed actions. This duology is a great read.

All my questions which left unanswered in “the lost world” are answered in its sequel “The Lost World Rises”.

I couldn’t wait to pick the second part and immediately begin reading it on this weekend. And my my, a weekend well spent.

About the plot; it gives a little insight abt the previous book (I guess for readers who haven’t read the previous part) and picks up from where it last ended. In this sequel we see that a lot more depth is added to every character and we get to know how and what they are feeling. New characters are added and things start to make sense as we reach towards the climax. Before that, there is an internal conflict among the tribe for power. (I am afraid I will spill the beans).
The book also conveys the message that how tribal people are exploited. The different timelines and subplots are clear without any confusion. (ig that’s because I read the first part properly)

The statisfcaton and the realisation as the story unfolds is blissful.
The author has knack for building suspense and thrill. I absolutely loved the book.

At what lengths he will go to establish his dominance?Andaman -The Atman team entered the Andaman to establish contact with the Jarawa tribe, only to meet resistance from Satya. Ramtirtha - Split between his tribe and the modern civilization. He is on his way back to the tribe. What will be his future?

The first part of this sequel, The Lost World is quite impressive. So I took up this second part, The Lost World Rises. More or less, this is a continuation of the first one.

The protagonist Apoorv Lost himself in a forest after which he encountered a series of unexpected issues and new meetups there. The same plot has been continued in the second part too. But there are certain new perspectives of the events and issues introduced to the readers. The protagonist was supposed to face some more new issues and surprises on his way to relieve himself out of the trap he got stuck with. All these sequences of new perspectives and events form this whole story !

The plot is quite engaging as the first part. Never felt bored in-between. The characterizations were perfect. The language used is lucid and easily understandable. Reading the first part and then the second one would be suggested for the better understanding. This has a mesmerizing storyline and could be recommended for all the readers!
