The truth could destroy them, or bind them together forever.
Billionaire real estate developer Rapheus Giannopoulos has a reputation for being emotionally void and unavailable. When it comes to women and dating, he has always kept it casual. But Raph is forced to navigate through a sea of mixed emotions when his grandfather’s deathbed confession about family secrets sends him into a world and to a family he knew nothing about, and to a woman who brings him to his knees.

In business, Hotelier Xiomara Davenport exudes confidence. Not so in relationships. She has been used, betrayed, and humiliated by men who promised to love her. Behind the walls that surround her heart, Xio has all but given up on love. But both her confidence and defenses are shaken to the core when a rival threatens to destroy the life she has built, and a handsome stranger makes her question what she thinks she knows about herself.

On the picturesque, Caribbean island of Akilina where black sand beaches, majestic mountains, and dense rainforests unfold at every turn, and where ancient cultures blend as seamlessly as the breathtaking landscape, will Raph and Xio surrender to the irresistible pull between them, or will the truths they uncover forever keep them apart?

From New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author Ana E Ross comes a heart-wrenching romance to make you believe that even in the darkest moments, love is possible.

After reading the last words of the story, my head remained silent for a long time, overwhelmed by emotions....

Sitting next to his grandfather, his pappoús, Rapheus hears his last words. On his grandfather's deathbed, he hears bits of a life he knew nothing about. But he will keep his promise to his grandfather. He will take the ashes of his pappoús and yaya to Akilina and scatter their ashes there.

That is the beginning of a journey to the past and a journey to its future. But he doesn't make these alone. His pappoús asks him to deliver a letter to Xiomara. The letter is written in Greek 'i mikrí mou kóri', My little daughter.

What a story, what a beginning. This pulls you right into the story and the story doesn't let you go. The story of Rapheus and Xiomara contains so much.
A world is created before your eyes and appears so real that you imagine yourself there. The different characters are portrayed in such a way that you feel that you know them. And the story of the past so intertwined in the present that you believe it. What a great author to be able to put this down like this.

Thank you for your words that will play in my head for a long time!.

Ana has done it again. This book was a great read. The scenes were very descriptive and vivid. I pictured myself on the island with Xio & Raph.

My heart ached for Raph as he sent his Pappoús and Yaya to the afterlife. This moment bought tears to my eyes. However I still has questions. Hopefully another book will come.

Be sure to purchase and read. You will not be disappointed.

I have always wanted to write a romance series set in the Caribbean, primarily because I was born here and I wanted to share my culture. But as I began to write the first draft of Seduced by Passion, set on my native island of Nevis, I had a “What If?” moment that arose after seeing Marvel's Black Panther.

I thought, What If, like the fictitious African country of Wakanda whose culture and lifestyle had never been touched nor influenced by Westerners, there was an island in the Caribbean that was never colonized by Europeans? What if the Taino, the Kalinago, the Arawak, and other indigenous peoples who lived on this island were left to practice their way of life and culture without outside influences and ideology?

And so the idea of Akilina, a 250-square-mile island in the South Caribbean, along with the indigenous Megiri (based on the Arawak, Kalinago, and Tainos) and the Guaitiari (a culture born from the blending of several African tribes) were invented.

In order to create this fictitious island and describe the Megiri and the Guaitiari and their culture and history as accurately as possible, I had to do a lot of research: the wars fought and raids conducted on the colonists by the indigenous nations in order to maintain their freedom and survival; life in 17th Century Africa and the tribal wars between emerging kingdoms; the Ottoman Empire occupation of Greece; the landscapes, climate, weather, and wildlife of the Caribbean islands; life in the colonies for both the enslaved, those who enslaved them, and the abolitionists and sympathizers who helped the slaves escape to freedom; the language of the Taino and Arawak peoples, from which I invented most of the vocabulary in this book, and much more. I especially studied the history and survival of the Kalinago of Dominica.

I have only included a minuscule amount of the information I discovered during my research, but I hope that what I have incorporated between the pages gives you a glimpse of what life could have been like if this island existed.

Not only does Seduced by Passion relate Raph and Xio’s steamy and enlightening journey to happily ever after, but it also sets the stage for Books 2 and 3 in the series that follow Raph’s brothers, Neo and Tele, as they try to find love and happiness, too. Oh, and for you who love the Billionaire Brides of Granite Falls series, one of the heroes makes a cameo appearance in this book!

Writing Raph and Xio’s story was an emotional roller-coaster ride. I laughed and cried with them as their story unfolded and the island of Akilina also developed a life of its own. Some of my readers are already fantasizing about visiting this beautiful tropical island and falling in love there.

I hope you enjoy reading Seduced by Passion as much as I enjoyed writing it and getting to know all the dynamic, funny, and charismatic characters on this pristine island. As always, your reviews, ratings, and comments are appreciated. I would love to hear from you!

Haven’t read this one yet, but your passion transfers to the characters in your books. Love that you have no cliches about falling in love. Always tension and they fight with passion and find love with a lot of twists and turns. The characters grow together and find that love slides in front of them.
The rating is for the three I have read so far. Will read Seduced when it comes out.

Even the direst secrets cannot derail true love!
This novel began with Andris Patriarch of this multibillionaire Greek family making his transition into the afterlife! The setting of this story is a far cry from the small wealthy town of Granite Falls and is so captivating, it makes me want to become a citizen immediately! I would love to be able to view the many natural features that encompass this Island, and bask in the culture of a people who escaped slavery and used their skills, intellect and education (some learned abroad) to make Ynoa aka Akilina into a premier place to vacation, live and work! The pain of loss on both sides was such that it caused me to shed a few tears! The brutality of the treatment the ancestors of this Island before they defeated their would be colonizers made me instantly angered! Yes, fellow readers I am aware that this is a work of fiction however being a descendent of formerly enslaved people, it pricked my heart. Overall, this story is captivating, informative even though it is labeled as fictional, I can see in my mind's eye escaped slaves finding this refuge in which to live as human beings and not chattel, raise their families and create a haven for those who would come and enjoy what they have made. I like the hierarchy of the Dacicas, BO'rocos, Recotieri (storytellers kind of like the Grios) , The Megiri (a protected tribe)and Guaitari (honorary guests of the Megiri people) all of these parts of the culture and customs that gives them equality with the women in rule. The women of Akilina are some strong, intelligent, loving and caring women who take their duty to their home and their people very very seriously! I just loved everything about Seduced by Passion! And to recite all of what piqued my interest and kept me reading here, would be tantamount to rewriting the entire book and we all know Ana E Ross has done an excellent job of that! I would love to have seen the would be scammers get their comeuppance for what they tried to do to get their hands on the Davenport's resort that Xiomara's dad established! Overall, Ana, this is an excellent read and I do believe it is headed for the Best Seller's List! Thank you for allowing me to be a beta reader for your precious work of art in this novel!

Okay, I don’t even know where to start... I've read hundreds of books and only three of them have ever made me cry: My Sister's Keeper, The Baron in the Trees, and Seduced by Passion. This book is even more epic than its pages allow. It has everything that I want in a TV series, and a lot of things I didn’t even know I wanted in a book. Even though it doesn’t have a time-travel or blatantly supernatural element, I think other fans of Outlander would love Seduced by Passion. It has the romance and sex, along with history, adventure, villains, family drama, comedy, and a little bit of fantasy and glamour.

The book is kind of an alternative history, too. I mean, I’m from the Caribbean, and I can’t tell you how much I loved living in this world in Akilina where the island wasn’t colonized, where the indigenous people were able to live in peace and according to their customs, and where escaped slaves could rebuild their lives. It was just amazing. Pure magic. If only a place like that really existed…

What I have a hard time putting into words, without giving it away, is the love I have for the backstory that is revealed towards the end of the book. Everything leads up to it. I could read this book over and over again just to get to that part (actually, I’ve already read it twice). The early chapters of the book set the scene, and the romance between Raph and Xio ebbs and flows nicely as they both grapple with their own demons (both real and imagined), but it is all building up to this epic, mind blowingly tragic family secret.

Talk about a tear-jerker…Ana doesn’t hold anything back. More than once I was crying, and then the next minute laughing at and with the characters. I came to love every character. All of them–even those with limited scenes–were so well developed. I really had a sense of who they were. I absolutely love Xio’s family, especially her little brother and sister. They are actually laugh out loud hilarious. Everyone needs an Akilah in their life! And I can’t wait to meet Raph’s brothers in the next book. I hope we get to see more of the family and friends in the rest of the series. They’re awesome.

Raph and Xio are perfect for each other, and their journey to HEA was worth every page. Watching them each overcome their personal demons was so sweet. Especially Xio’s. I think a lot of women will be able to relate to her and the pain caused by the jerks she dated in the past.

In short, this is a contemporary romance novel that will satisfy fans of historical romance, historical fiction, fantasy, and alternative history. If you want to laugh, cry, clutch your pearls, and cheer for the characters, this is the book for you.

I loved loved loved it.

P.S. I had to um..pause during one of the love scenes. When you read “she glanced over her shoulder, her eyes laced with impatience while her tongue slid temptingly…” get ready for a wild ride.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review, and I’ll never be the same… This is one of my new favorite books.

This was not just a story, it was an epic journey. Raph and Xio's romance was destined to occur.

I loved the description of the island. I loved that the indigenous population could live there without outside interference.

The book was full of emotion. I really appreciated that Raph's character was not that of a cold unfeeling billionaire. He embraced all of his emotions. I liked that Raph was able to help her overcome her insecurities about relationships. I felt for Xio having to deal with Stamer.

I also loved Xio's family. I liked how her sister's true character came to the forefront after Raph was introduced to her family. The relationships Xio had on the island only served to enhance the sense of family and generational connection the book embodied.

The story pulled me in from the beginning. I enjoyed the history from both Raph and Xio's ancestors. Once Raph and Xio's journey began to find the truth and spread his grandparents ashes, I became totally immersed.

I hope this ends up being an audiobook. I would love to hear how all of the names, titles, and locations are pronounced. Not only the Greek ones, but the ones from Akilina or Ynoa.

This is my first time reading anything by this author Ana E Ross and I must say oh my goodness. I am so loving the cover of this book. This is an awesome entertaining read that has its share of drama, emotional situations, page turner, twists, turns, secrets, romantic, steamy, awesome characters and a great plot that held me captive. Rapheus and Xiomara have awesome chemistry. Ralph’s grandfather makes a request that he take his ashes back to his hometown and scatter them. Xio and Ralph meet when he is tasked with taking the remains of his grandparents back to their birth place. Ralph and Xio share something in common and that is the loss a parent when they were children and they understood each other. There is a lot going on with the couple with all the twists and turns they encounter along the way. But these two are strong individuals and together they will be just fine.

What a saga this book is! I like that the author has an actual tale to tell, and that it's not just another mindless, smutty story. It starts off slow. While the events mentioned in the beginning are interesting, they aren't written interestingly. Towards the ending of part one, the narrative pick ups pace and then the reader is literally seduced by the passionate story. Andris Aetós Giannopoulos is the sweetest fictional old man, and probably the sweetest fictional man ever for that sneaky stunt he pulled in the epilogue. If you liked the blurb, you must read it. I've become a fan for life and the book she teased in the end is going next on my TBR!

Ana E Ross never cease to amaze me with her books

The opening of Seduced by Passion was strong and it immediately pulled me into the plot, that kept me wanting more and more as I read. The island of Ynoa/Akilina was so vivid that it made me want to visit with the hope of meeting the man of my dreams there. The main characters, Xio and Raph are strong and compelling, and they flowed nicely along with the plot as they worked their way to Happily-Ever-After. Now I’m anxiously awaiting the follow-up book that continues their life together and blending the families and the history of the island together.

This book was amazing!! I instantly fell in love with every single character in this book. I’m also a huge fan of books with POC! The writing in this book was soo good and certain parts made me feel like I was on the island with the character lol. The amount of twist and things that are revealed throughout the story make it so interesting. I also really enjoyed getting to read about Akilina and how much I wish this place existed. I cant even put into words how amazing this book was! Read this book immediately!!! All opinions are my own.

RAPH AND XIO

A love that being in one generation and ended in another. A well written and thought out story of true love. Raph and Xio knew right away that they were destined to be in love although they didn’t understand why. A great book from start to finish. Both families were amazing.

Great romance with lots of beautiful detail about the history of the Caribbean Islands and the fight for freedom from slavers and would be colonizers. Throw in a touch of the supernatural to embrace the mystique of the people inhabiting the parts of island unseen by tourists and you have this culturally rich, destiny filled story. Rafe and Xio both had ideas about not getting involved in a relationship based on past hurts, but a tragic event, family history wrapped in island history, and fate had something else in store for them. Their romance burned white hot with some serious sexy steam. Their journey was one that was decades in the making, but for them just a few weeks. Great story!

With a fraud arrest hanging over her head, Xiomara has to deal with a few revelations that will affect the rest of her life. With completing the last wish of his beloved grandfather, Raph is drawn into the mystery of Xiomara as it unfolds. Can Raph and Xiomara save each other for a future together? A really good read.

This is book one in The Billionaire Island Brides series and it is Raph and Xio's story and what a great start to a new series and author to me. Raph is definitely not a relationship or commitment type of man and has a wall built so high around him that it is unbreakable but when his grandfather is dying it throws Raph for a loop when he finds out that he has family that he didn't know about. Xio shows straight and confidence in business but not so much when it comes to her heart as she has been used and betrayed so many times that now her heart is off limits and the walls surrounding her is so high that it can't be penetrated or broken. When Raph and Xio meet there connection and chemistry between them is instant but they will have to trust, communicate and go through so many ups and downs along the way and also the twists and turns that they don't see coming if they are to have any chance of the happy ending that they both deserve. I couldn't put this book down as the characters and storyline pulled you in and kept your attention throughout and I can't wait to read more book's by this author in the future.

This was the best book I have read in a while. We young generation do not understand how older people keep so many secrets from us. Raph and xio Understood this better than anyone... Raph Grandfather had a sick and he was keeping from the family for years but he want to tell his only favorite grandson About it but he could not And on his deathbed he asked his favorite grandson to Taking back to his homeland But his grandson did I understand what he was talking about But in the end he went to a Little caravan island I'm found the most beautiful woman he ever seen in his life. They had a connection that they could not believe Between their grandfather and grandmother they all had a bad dream but did not know what it meant. Raph family was spiritual And so was xio. His grandfather know he was very emotional and he sent him so well to find all his emotion and love This is a best book I have read this year can I wait to see what the other brothers are doing and if they are having children and they will get married and they get rid of the banker

"Óchi. You don’t see love. You feel love. Experience love, She might not be the most beautiful woman you’ve ever seen, but you will know she’s right when you feel her in your heart, and when you dream of her.."

That what Raph feel when he look at Xiomara picture, butterflies fluttered in his stomach. First meeting, The moment they hand touched, shock waves rolled through their body. Family secret was so deep in this book, include different tribe, anchestor story still appear in the future. I love how this describe about traditional and hope there are more to tell. I can imagine how beautiful the island is.

This is an epic saga that honors love and family. Rapheus and Xiomara are soulmates and meant to continue the legacy begun by their ancestors. She is a Princess and he is her lover, consort, and fated mate. Together they are magical and human making moments they’ll remember forever. Their physical attraction is phenomenal and written with a sensuality that resonates perfectly. Ana weaves a beautiful love story with the background of a Caribbean island. She illustrates how the history of the characters are entwined with the past and future. This was really interesting and fascinating.

Very interesting story. Really takes instant attraction to a deeper ties that bind soulmate level. Loads of family history as well as the detailed description of the island which is full of magical elements and culture. Romance is secondary but still a captivating plot that kept me pumped with anticipation but there does seem to be a few loose ends even with the free epilogue. Thank you to the publishers, the author and Netgalley for an eARC of this book. My review is my own opinion.
I really loved this book. I loved Xiomara and Rapheus' relationship and how they started to like each other from their first meeting and how their first attraction slowly started to develop into  something more. I also really liked the storyline of Rapheus trying to know more about the secrets of his grandpa and him discovering Akilina and its history.

Seduced by Passion by Ana E Ross is the first book in her new series, Billionaire Island Brides. The book also includes characters from the Billionaire Brides of Granite Falls series; it is always great to catch up with old friends! When Rapheus (Raph) Giannopoulos loses his beloved grandfather, he learns that his grandfather had many secrets related to family and money. In a quest to unravel the mystery that is left behind, Raph travels to Akilina an island in the Caribbean where he seeks out Xiomara Davenport and her family. Raph has been tasked with scattering his grandfather’s remains and delivering a letter to Xiomara. As Raph talks to Xiomara and her mother, it is obvious to them that the history of both families is closely entangled. Ms. Ross tells the story of these interconnected families in lush layers. She gives us an amazingly detailed depiction of the island’s history; in addition, the unfolding love story between Raph and Xiomara is tastefully delivered. I look forward to reading other stories (hopefully) in this series.
I willingly reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the publisher through Netgalley.

Ralph and Xiomara meet through the death of Ralph's grandfather. He is charged with taking his grandparents remains back to his birthplace. In doing so it will start his journey with Xiomara. They both lost their fathers as children and had to take a dominant role in the family. There are so many intriguing twists and turns in this story that kept me glued to the pages and cheering for Ralp and Xiomara to get their chance for a happily ever after. Once again Ms. Ross has woven a story that is brilliantly written with dynamic characters that I not only connected with but found charismatic and inspiring.
