Everly Johnson is more than a talk show host dispensing advice for Christian singles on WJOY radio. Despite the challenges of living with retinitis pigmentosa, she’s also an independent woman who has carved out a respectable life. There are only two things she desperately wants: to reconcile with her mother and to meet the husband God has for her. Preferably a man who will see past her white cane.
Cameron Boyd admits that being introverted makes eye contact and witty banter with a pretty girl challenging, if not impossible. If it weren’t for his adorable dog, Max, he’d spend every evening alone. About as close as Cam gets to opening his heart is the one-way conversation listening to Evie every Friday night on her call-in radio show. He’d love to meet a godly girl like her.
While seeking God’s best, these two souls meet on the same path, brought together by a meddling canine companion. Both Max and Cam claim Evie as their own.

Everly, the main character in Dial E for Endearment and I have something in common, but it may not be what you’d expect.
As Blowing Rock, NC’s JOY Radio talk show host, Everly has discovered fulfillment, but she hasn’t found love, at least not for her—not even from her mother. Everly wants words--heartfelt, meaningful endearments meant for her ears only. She wants a man who will open her eyes to everything she cannot see to make her feel more than just the voice behind the mic.
You may know me as an author, but did you know I am also the retired Director and Founder of an ESL program, regularly walk 12 plus miles a week, care for my grandsons, scrapbook, read voraciously, cook, and am legally blind? That last phrase was difficult for me to say out loud not that long ago.
Vision loss does not discriminate.
My diagnosis in 2001 of Retinitis Pigmentosa was devastating. There is no cure. There is no surgery. But that does not mean there is no hope.
I still have value.
Those who do not know me well often don’t realize I have low vision. As humans, we are amazingly adaptable, and I do a pretty good job covering up my disability. My friends have learned to watch out for me and alert me to potential pitfalls, some better than others, which is always good for a laugh. I use a cane when I’m navigating alone. I’ve traveled to China—that cane my only companion.
Being blind is certainly not something I would have chosen, but... Blindness does not define me.
Join me on this fun adventure and see for yourself that God does not discriminate. You’ll laugh your way through mishaps--most of which may have happened to me at some point…although I’ll most likely deny if asked. But most of all, you’ll learn that we ALL have value, and that includes YOU.

A seriously adorable book. Not pure fluff, either. The You Are on the Air series features novella-length books about relationship radio talk show hosts and the folks they help with their love lives. In this one, you get an unusual twist on saving the damsel, I mean DUDE in distress and a protagonist who knows what she wants but has her vulnerable and heartachy side, too... what could go wrong?
Just throwing out there that I am one of the authors in this series, so while my review may appear biased, anyone who knows me knows I say what I think. But, I'm throwing that out in case it matters to anyone.
One of my favorite authors, Heidi Gray McGill, is part of a collaboration for the You Are On The Air series. The cover of this book immediately drew me in because I don’t often see books with visually impaired characters (pun not intended!). I was immediately drawn into this book because the characters are so relatable. Heidi did an excellent job of developing the characters. I felt like I was part of their world. Even Max, the dog, had me smiling and laughing at his actions. I read through this book very quickly. It wasn’t complicated, it was easy to follow. The main character has a visual impairment, a difficult relationship with her mother, and a guy friend that would like to be more than friends. Faith in Christ and His ability to restore and renew relationships is woven throughout this novella. If you are looking for a sweet contemporary Christian romance, this novella is for you! This review was based on a complimentary pre-release copy. I was asked to give my honest opinion and was not compensated for my review.
Author Heidi Gray McGill has written a delightful novella with her Dial E for Endearment. This is a lovely contemporary Christian Romance that is quite different from most but in a refreshing way. I loved it.
I enjoyed author McGill’s easy style of storytelling. Her story flowed smoothly and drew me in immediately. The characters are well rounded and relatable. It was easy to slip into their world. Conversations sounded authentic and not forced.
The main character is a vision impaired, feisty lady named Everly Johnson. She is a singles talk show host wanting to help others. Cameron Boyd is a shy leading man whose dog, Max, is a wonderful addition to the story.
The author has written a well planned, organized story. It has a sweet Christian inspiration message woven throughout it. Life lessons abound in this romance about two people with vulnerabilities. I highly recommend it. It gets a 5 star rating from me. I received a copy from the author but these are my own true words.
This was such a cute idea. However, even though it's a fairly short read, I just got bored fast. Huge sections were just information dumping that read more like a blog post about someone talking about their life than story.
This is a sweet romantic novella. I am blind, and I feel that the author's depiction of the main character's blindness was very realistic. I highly recommend this book!
This is a wonderful series. I definitely want to read the entire series now after having read this book. Dial E for Endearment is the first book by this author I’ve read and it won’t be the last. First of all, I love the name Everly. I have a friend who recently named her daughter Everly and fell in love with it then; fell in love with it all over again in this book. Second, I love how the author incorporated Retinitis Pigmentosa into the main character and educated her readers while entertaining them. I noticed, before I realized the main character was legally blind, that the author was very descriptive of her surroundings for the story and when I realized we were actually living life through the eyes of the main character, it gave the story, for me, much more depth. I was able to use all my other senses except for sight and it showed me how full and rich the world is even without being able to physically see it.
I loved Cam, and I couldn’t help but love Everly’s best friend, too. And her best girlfriend? So fun! I loved her job as well, and totally fell in love with Max. I loved picturing the house/cabin where Cam lived as well. This book was fantastic. I truly loved the hospital scene in the end between Everly and her mom, and how her best friend stood out in the hallway waiting so they could have time together. What an amazing person, inside and out. I can’t wait to read more from this author.
I received a copy of this book from Celebrate Lit but was not under any obligation to write a review. All opinions are strictly mine.
I enjoy Christian Romance Books and new to me authors. Dial E for Endearment by Heidi Gray McGill is the latest new to me author book that I have read.
Everly Johnson is an On-Air Host for a local Radio Station in Blowing Rock, North Carolina. Her segment called Choose Joy is enjoyed by many, so much so that they send gifts and flowers to her quite often. Everly doesn't keep the gifts, but donates them. She has one desire in life and that is to find a man to love her for her and whisper sweet nothings in her ear. Cameron listens to Everly's Radio show and would LOVE to meet her. He has been tempted to call into her show, but is too shy to do so. Everly and Cameron have a chance meeting and they hit it off immediately. Cameron discovers that Everly has Low Vision and it makes him more comfortable as he has trouble looking people in the Eye due to shyness. Will Everly and Cameron make a long lasting couple?
WOW, such a sweet Romance Story. I really like how the author Highlights a character that has Vision Problems. I also like that the character is a Radio DJ. My husband and I both have Radio Broadcasting Degrees, so that ascept of the story was so awesome! Cameron is a wonderful young man who by chance meets someone who he appreciates for who she is. The book is a short novella, but it packs so much story into the book! I HGHLY recommend this book for anyone looking for a Sweet Christian Romance book! GREAT BOOK!
This is my first read by Heidi Gray McGill, but it won’t the last. I love this book, and I love McGill’s writing style. Everly and Cameron are the perfect couple, if only they knew this! I found it so sweet that Cameron dreamed of calling in ti Everly’s show, but of course it’s not as easy as one may think. I love these two characters, along with the others created by Heidi Gray McGill. This is a fun and entertaining book to read. I kept thinking I was in my living room talking with Everly, or perhaps listening to her Joy radio show. I found it interesting that Everly and the author has some things in common, and we get to see a glimpse of McGill’s life through This character.
Actually I found a lot of interesting and fun things in this book that I enjoyed very much. And Everly taught me so much as I followed her life and how she is an overcome. She never let’s life abd her circumstances stop her or even slow her down. I needed to hear this message. And hopefully I can take some of these things to heart. I think any women or young lady can and will enjoy this book. It has something for all to enjoy. Go check out this book today. I am giving this one Five Stars.
A special thanks to the author/publisher for a copy of this book. I am not required to write a positive review, the opinions here are mine alone. I am disclosing this with my review in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255.
A sweet story, and a very pleasant way to spend an hour and a half!
My favorite quote might be ” you’re on the air, What brings JOY into your life today?” because it’s something we all should think about. A total paradigm shift, if we’ll let it be. This question, asked daily, can help rewire the pathways of your brain, to spend less time on the negatives.
I read this when I was having a really bad day, full of mistakes and messes, and failure. This one little line, repeated every time Everly is on the air, made me stop and think about my blessings.
Cam is the kind of guy I’d like to be friends with. Yes, he’s handy, and has an amazing dog, but beyond that, he’s a good listener, and able to laugh when things go wrong, instead of getting angry.
Everly and her mom have very different perspectives of her growing up years, and when they finally talk through them, there’s the beginning of healing. If you need to do this, or wish you could, then I highly recommend reading Everly’s experience. Whether or not you’re able to have this kind of talk with your own mom, this may soothe a few raw nerves!
I received a copy of this book from #celebratelit and chose to review it here. All thoughts are my own.
As a vision-impaired reader, I was curious to see how author Heidi McGill would present a blind main character. I was looking for a realistic positive role model—and she didn’t disappoint! I love that she characterized her with a white cane, and from the start, brought out her character’s sensory input in a natural way. Here and there, she showed some glitches in her mobility, which made for light-hearted scenes. As a white cane user myself, I appreciate this touch of realism. I’m a fan of her historical romances. But this genre is contemporary romance. She transitioned beautifully to a modern-day scenario. Her characters all have both strengths and vulnerabilities—even the accompanying characters (which include her mother, the dog, both the main character’s close friends, and even the listeners to Everly’s radio show). I was particularly touched by a scene between Everly and her mother. I loved the humorous quips tucked into this feel-good Christian novella, which show her main character’s disability doesn’t define her. I was given an ARC but all my thoughts and opinions are my own and I received no compensation. Highly recommend.
"Dial E for Endearment" is a sweet book that pulls on the heartstrings and hits all the right notes in this reader. You'll love the heroine, Everly ("Evie") who, like the author, doesn't allow a low vision disability to hinder her joy while helping others see life from her unique perspective. The Introduction of the book sets the tone for this well-written novella and alone makes it worth the read: (1) Vision loss does not discriminate; (2) I still have value; and (3) Blindness does not define me.
The heroine's faith and compassion for others shines through (likewise the author's natural sense of humor). As a reader, you'll be charmed by the hero, Cameron ("Cam"), and his memorable dog, Max. Evie's struggles with her mother anchor the book with a dose of bittersweet realism. Her best friends, Ginger and Scott, round out a cast of well-defined characters. As with most novellas, my only regret is that the book isn't longer.
The setting of the Blue Ridge Mountains is one of my favorites, but the real beauty in this story is its underlying message that the love of Christ encompasses all. Wrap yourself in this wonderful novella today! Highly recommended.
This is such a beautiful story about finding love in the most funniest circumstances. 😂Everly and Cam where such a funny and unique couple. She had to always be independent, but with Cam she was able to be dependent on his love, humor, and mischievous dog. I just 💙LOVED the storyline and how everything worked out. I also 💙LOVE the faith filled and inspiring quotes. It was so hard to choose which quotes I liked best. I HIGHLY recommend this book. It is about making the best out of circumstances and letting God lead you.

Dial E for Endearment is a novella that I enjoyed very much.
I found the main character to be well-rounded and living her best life despite a disability- it’s very encouraging for the author to show that anything is possible, despite the challenges we face.
Oh, yeah, and I adore her name!
While I’m not generally a fan of romance or shorter books, I was caught up in Everly’s story, the mystique surrounding her career, and the connection she makes with Cam. Side issues with her mother’s abandonment added an emotional component and we learn how Everly came out stronger because of it.
And a favorite line: “This man I know little about found a place in my heart that I didn’t realize I needed filled.” Yum.
This is a short read but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Everly is a character that I really found relatable. She has issues to deal with and life isn't just a bed of roses, but you can do anything in life. The romance portion was sweet and I enjoyed it.
Cam was a good character as well. He had issues too. I love how the author makes the characters so realistic. They face real life problems and they have to work through them. Short read but a good read.
4/5
Thank you to the author/publisher for the review copy of this book via Celebrate Lit. I received this book in exchange for an honest review and the opinions stated above are 100% mine.
I absolutely adore sweet romances. This one was all of that! I loved the banter between the hero and heroine, and I loved the dog. So many cute, funny moments with him.
I appreciated that the author included a heroine with a disability. Though I am seeing more representation than I used to, there still aren't a lot of books out there that do. It was super interesting to read a character who mostly moved through the world relying on her hearing to know what's happening around her.
This was my first book from this series, and I'm excited to read more!
Everly Johnson, a host for Joy Radio, is listened to by many. Her identity is a secret.
The storyline is engaging, the characters relatable, and the situations real to life. It's a story of forgiveness, acceptance, love, and closure.
I enjoyed seeing Everly's Christian growth throughout the story. A glimpse of impairment, but also a determination to be who God chose her to be. Highly recommended.
I received a complimentary copy from the author and voluntarily choose to review it.
Evie has endeavored to adapt to her situation she learns she has been blind to major parts of it....like Scott ,maybe her Mom. With the new courage to add people to her life, essentially her eyes have been opened to new possibilities. A heartwarming story with Christian encouragement. A wonderful read that is funny, thought provoking and brought smiles to my life
Such a sweet story! I was touched when the pastor’s message spoke to Everly’s heart regarding her mother and as she followed God’s lead, God had already prepared the way because He worked on her mother’s heart as well! Loved the sweet banter between Everly and Cam. Great story!
This is a fantastic, heartfelt, and beautiful story. I wish I could give it 10 stars. So beautifully written. It takes the reader on a journey that looks into the heart of its characters to see real true love. Grab some Kleenex because this will leave you blubbering in a good way!
I appreciated the Introduction by Heidi, giving her perspective on Retinitis Pigmentosa. From the biographical information shared in the introduction, it is obvious that Heidi, through God’s enabling developed resilience and independence. Her lead character, Everly Johnson is sincere, authentic, and nothing about her seemed contrived. This pulled me into the story. It seems the author has used what she knows to imbue her heroine, with the same resilience and independence.
For me, the story rises or falls on compelling characters and this story delivers in that department. Everly and Cameron Boyd are the leads and they weave a spell around the reader’s heart, as well as their own. These characters are not simplistic, but have challenges in regards to situations, as to parental expectations, and even with each other, but they lean on their faith. Evie is a DJ on WJOY radio and she dispenses advice to Christian singles. I love her introduction to each caller, “What brings joy into your life today?” This points each caller Godward instead of selfward. Everly has a phenomenal support system with her two best friends from college, her church, and even her workplace. Her faithful friend Scott introduced her to his Dad, who is the owner of WJOY. Even her Uber driver is on speed-dial.
Cameron is introspective and hasn’t met many people since starting his job at the local commercial construction company. He is financially secure and doing well in his job. But you sense he is looking for his special connection. He is living at the house his grandfather left to him. His memories of his grandfather are strong. His grandfather had a strong religious influence on him. Cameron learned God’s ways with his Grandpa at the family altar. Cam loves the hills and although his father has etched a life quite different from his roots, Cameron loves the quiet and solitude the mountains provide.
Everly and Cameron were wonderful characters, their interaction was sweet; it was a real pleasure to read about their story. Cam connected with Everly’s voice first over WJOY radio, listening to her “Christian Singles Advice” program. He connected to her via her voice and she connected to him via his kindness and thoughtful caring. “Seeing” took on a whole new meaning in this book and value, God’s eternal value, the Genesis 1:27 kind, dulls the superficial surface kind that fades like candy canes and sugar plums. There were some misunderstandings, but eventually when clear communication happens between Cam and Everly, as well as Everly and her mother, God’s peace reigns.
My first choice when it comes to fiction is Christian Historical over Contemporary Christian. Why? I’ve often struggled with Contemporary Christian fiction, as I find it cringy, fake, overly sugary, and simply not believable. The fact is, this book suffered none of these deficiencies, it is really GREAT.
The story is part of a new series, You Are on the Air, by various authors. They are a clean, contemporary inspirational romance with heartwarming drama. The story has some angst, secrets, and personal issues that must be resolved. I liked the characters, the emotions, the various dramas, and the situations.
Everly Johnson (on-air name) comes across as a vivacious young woman with sound advice to her listeners at WJOY radio in Blowing Rock, NC. She gives wise, thought-filled advice, but mostly she asks questions and allows her listeners to answer their own questions. Everly's audience does not know that she is blind, does not date, has never known who her father is, and is not necessarily happy with her mother. She is a strong Christian woman and tries to live a life pleasing to God.
"I find that when people talk through their problems, they often find they've known the answer all along."
Cameron 'Cam' Boyd has made Blowing Rock his home—settling in the house his late grandfather built. He wanted to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather, who made a name for himself in construction. He loves the craftsmanship in buildings and made that his chosen career. Only instead of doing manual labor, he is part of management. Cam had loved spending time with his grandparents at their home, especially their evening altar time, where he found Christ as his Savior when he was a boy.
"Tomorrow is the first day of the rest of our lives."
The story's plot will have a chance meeting, twice between Evie and Cam. The first time literally ran into each other at the coffee shop, and the second was at Moses H. Cone Memorial Park. Cam has Max, his dog, who takes a liking to Evie and wants to be right beside her, and she is easygoing about it. Cam has listened to Everly's Friday night show and does not realize it is Evie at first. He treats her like any other girl even though she is blind. When he takes her home, he notices her house, tells her more about the 1930s style, and sees that she has a gutter that needs to be repaired. He will swing by and do that for her, and then Cam, Evie, and Max go to the park for a picnic.
"Lead on, Cameron Boyd. My life is in your hands."
The story has strong emotions between Evie and her mother. She knows her mother has breast cancer and has refused medical procedures. But it is a fall and trip to the hospital that will have these two having a heart-to-heart conversation—something that has never happened before. It will be an eye-opener for Evie, and what she thought was selfishness, was in fact, an act of love towards independence.
"Don’t marry for convenience, comfort, or casual love. Marry someone because you can’t live another day without him, and he makes you a better version of yourself. Fall in love, deeply, passionately, and fully. Never settle for less than God’s best for you.”
The story is a clean romance with strong Christian principles, a new romance, and discovering more about following the path God leads you on. I loved the chemistry between Evie and Cameron.
There are so many reason I liked this book. It was a sweet clean story with characters that you want to sit and talk to forever. I like how the author introduced a character with vision problems that didn’t slow her down. Everly never let her disability be a reason she couldn’t accomplish anything. Her job is very interesting as a radio personality who gives Christian advice to singles. She has a good heart but her childhood left emotional scars. Everly has never quite felt loved especially by her mother. One of the best scenes in the entire book is when Everly is with her mother at the hospital. Everly’s mother tries to help her understand why she grew up in an environment where there was never a stable man around to show her what it means to be loved by a father. In a very vulnerable moment her mother gives her the best advice when she says, “Fall in love, deeply, passionately, and fully. Never settle for less than God’s best for you.”
Cam is just about the best guy ever. He really tries to be friends with Everly but he seems to say the wrong thing or try too much to win her approval. Funny that they both have an issue with acceptance. God sure had a plan when he had them cross paths. Their relationship is like a sitcom where someone misunderstands the other and trust is broken. Cam is worried that he can’t repair the damage he has done and is beating himself up for what he said. In his weakest moment, he turns to God to help him. I could feel this big weight lifted from him as he pours his heart out to God.
The story was fun to read and I was happy with the ending. It is nice to read a book every once in awhile that is just a relaxing, feel good story that brings joy to your life.
I received a copy of this book from Celebrate Lit. The review is my own opinion.
Dial E for Endearment You Are on the Air #5 By Heidi Gray McGill
Everly Johnson is JOY Radio's go-to talk show host for advice - most seeking relationship advice which Everly is happy to give. Her fans love her and are forever sending "gifts" to the station. But what her fans don't know is that Everly can't see - that a condition stole her sight. When a chance encounter in the park results in Everly meeting Cameron Boyd - more of a collision of the canine variety - Everly finds someone who just may be the one who touches her heart.
Cameron has been crushing on Everly it seems like forever - he has a standard Friday night date with her every week - or rather with her weekly radio program. And someday he hopes to build up the courage to call in and talk to her. His only real companion and family is his dog, Max, whom he hopes will work his doggy charm on Everly if he ever meets her face-to-face. When Everly lets slip a favorite park, Cam hopes his chance at a meeting with the woman who has captured his attention may finally come about.
Instead of Everly, Cam meets Evie a young woman with whom he has a bodily collision that involves mud and a body of water. Max and Cam are charmed by this young woman who doesn't allow her blindness to limit her.
A friendship follows but can Cam find what he has been searching for with Evie or has Everly and her radio program worked their way into his heart? This is a sweet contemporary story that finds several people looking for love - a love that accepts them for who they are and not the expectations others have for them.
I was provided a complimentary copy of this book with no expectations but that I provide my honest opinion - all thoughts expressed are my own.
Dial E for Endearment is written by Heidi Gray McGill. This is the first book that I have read by this author. One of the best things about being a book blogger is discovering new authors, that I may not have been exposed to otherwise. The author has crafted a fun, heartwarming Sweet Christian Contemporary Romance. The book is a quick read at 152 pages. I was able to finish it on a lazy weekend afternoon.
Everly Johnson is a host for the Choose Joy segment of JOY Radio in Blowing Rock, North Carolina. She is well known even if noone has seen her in person, they know her voice. She has a limitation - she has been dealing with dimishing sight since she was younger. I can't even imagine. She is well liked - but she wants to be seen for more then the voice behind the Choose Joy segment. I love that this is a flawed character. She has real limitations - and the author brought to light the subject of low vision.
Cameron Boyd struggles to make eye contact with anyone. The descriptions of the back porch overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains where Cameron likes to sit made me feel like I was there. He wants to call into Everly's show but is afraid of not saying the right things. Cameron is a likeable character.
The author unpacks a great story within 152 pages. I did not feel that it was rushed at all. The characters are well written. I enjoyed this book.
Thank you to the author, the publisher and Celebrate Lit for allowing me to read a copy of this story. All thoughts are my own.
I immediately loved the character of Everly, and by the end of the first chapter, I was cheering for her to find her happily-ever-after.
Everly is legally blind, but the author doesn’t let us feel sorry for her. We quickly discover the amazing way that Everly lives her life, but we also come to see her as a wonderful person and friend. She’s the perfect talk show host on JOY Radio. Cam listens to her radio shows and often wishes that he could meet her. With the help of his dog named Max, Everly and Cam meet in an unexpected way. The rest of their story is told in a charming way, and I was smiling as I finished the last page.
My only complaint about this book is that it’s novella length. I wish the story would have been longer, but since that’s because I loved these characters so much, it’s not really a complaint. I would have liked an epilogue at the end to get a little bit of a glimpse into the future of these characters; and I would have loved one more chapter at the end to show how Cam solved a mystery about Evie. But those things are minor, and I’m definitely looking forward to reading more from this author. If all her stories are as good as this one, there’s some great reading ahead.
I voluntarily received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.
What I think you should know: Dial E for Endearment by Heidi Gray McGill is a Sweet Contemporary Romance Novella. It is part of the You Are on the Air series. It can be read as a standalone.
What you might need to know: Everly has Retinitis Pigmentosa and is blind. I love how the author included descriptions of her surroundings from Everly’s character, they were rich and really enhanced her portion of the story! Evie’s mother has Breast Cancer.
What I think about this book: This was a really sweet story with some deep topics packed into it. Evie was such a unique character, I appreciate how the author shows that Evie is just like everyone else and that her disability does not define her. Cam , while overall a good character left me frustrated at times. Max, the dog was such a fun addition to the story, he helped provide such a fun meet cute! I wish that the timeline and length of the story were a little bit longer so that the author was able to give us more of the story, however I really enjoyed what was given to us. I will read more in this series and by this author in the future.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Celebrate Lit, this in no way influenced my review. All opinions are my own
This is a beautiful story of overcoming and rising above adversity. This is Everly Johnson and Cameron Boyd's story. Everly, a very popular radio personality, is vision impaired but longs for a man to love her and help her to see and enjoy everything she cannot see and who would verbally let her know she is loved and how important she is to him. She also suffers from having been mistreated in many ways by her mother. Cameron is an introvert who admires Everly and listens to her program on a regular basis but convinces himself that she would never be interested in the likes of him. Circumstances come about that bring the couple together and as God works in the life of each of them a relationship begins to develop. Will Everly be able to forgive her mother and establish a relationship with her? Will Everly and Cameron be able to find their HEA? Be sure to read this wonderful story of overcoming obstacles and adversity; it is a real page turner. You will be moved to tears so tissues maybe required.
This is a cute and sweet Christian romance read. You have two main characters with their own insecurities and issues that they have to work with and around to just live their life. But what happens when you put them together?
As the two become friends and come out of their own worlds they must decide if they can reach out and risk the chance of being hurt.
I enjoyed reading this sweet romance and knowing the connection between the main character and the author made it even more poignant to read. Not a mystery by any means but a nice sweet romance to read as you wind down before bedtime.
I have voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from Celebrate Lit. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.
