When a down-on-her-luck student runs out of money – and hope – it’s time for the devil to make his entrance and give her an offer she can’t refuse. But this devil has problems of his own. He’s a cog in Satan’s corporate ladder, who’s quickly losing credibility because that same desperate girl isn’t ready to part with her soul willingly. Now, she’s working at his coffee shop while he tries to convince her that she can have it all. And the cost? Merely her mortal soul…
❛ ━━・❪ 3 stars for the drama ☆ ❫・━━ ❜ You know you're in trouble when nothing in the story makes sense, but you're still here.
-Rule number one for every K-content in existence: Have amnesia; if you don't have it, preferably fake it. -Proceeds to change gender every 5 seconds because they can and gender is overrated anyway. -Let's turn the angels into cold, over-the-top grumpy goodwill workers and the devils into childish, goofy, immature beings with the inability to pick a side. -Stuff in as many unrequited tragic loves and questionable choices as they can, the more traumatised the readers get the better. -Who cares if it's Hana's story? We'll throw the shoe too far, hopefully no one can see.
Do you hv any idea how much i absolutely despise the 'I promise i'll come find you again so wait for me' trope?? DO YOU??? Where one of them dies and the other has to wait years and years until they can meet again...!!! DO U REALIZE HOW PAINFUL READING THAT IS?? That is why Peace and Sejoon's story makes me happy and sad at the same time. LET THEM B HAPPY AUTHOR!!
