When a down-on-her-luck student runs out of money – and hope – it’s time for the devil to make his entrance and give her an offer she can’t refuse. But this devil has problems of his own. He’s a cog in Satan’s corporate ladder, who’s quickly losing credibility because that same desperate girl isn’t ready to part with her soul willingly. Now, she’s working at his coffee shop while he tries to convince her that she can have it all. And the cost? Merely her mortal soul…
read jan 3 2024; 8/10 - not as good as i expected despite amz art; storytelling felt a little dry
the loveline and the chem can be better, as in more storytelling, more actual cute moments. All the parallel, supernatural worlds explaining and backstory was good but somehow i still felt it lacks passion... chemistry felt a little dry...?
As Four and Hana's story comes to a close, I don't know what to expect anymore. I don't know if we'll get a happy ending or if I'd rather get stabbed in the heart.
❛ ━━・❪ 3 'justice for peace' stars ☆ ❫・━━ ❜ Peace and Sejoon didn't deserve the ending they got, they were my favorite couple so far. I'm absolutely crushed. For a change, I'm completely on board with Devil Number 2's plans. Maybe she should kill the jealous, whiny human yet immortal who calls himself God after all; he's causing too much inconvenience, just because he doesn't have a love of his own, he's out there separating others from theirs. I mean, excuse me, this kind of behavior is unacceptable. Let them live their lives, do your job and watch over them like the other divine beings.
