Billionaire CEO Dylan Truex was burnt out. Not from his empire, DIRTY GAINS, but from his celebrity status.
Having the body he did as well as the motivation to lead the pack, was no longer all it was cracked up to be.
Heading to Estes Park for a two-week getaway all by himself sounded like the perfect solution to all his problems.
Until he arrives and finds that the condo has been double-booked.
Sharing the condo, he can handle. Cute blondie tempting him to break his no-sex bet, err…
When Lina Armstrong runs away from her old life—walking out on her job and leaving behind her family—the best thing she can do is reclaim her true self. No boss. No family. No men. No anybody.
Then comes handsome stranger Dylan Truman threatening to wreck her alone time at Pine Lake.
Yeah, he’s cute and all, but so are the elk and that doesn’t mean she wants to share a condo with them.
When the blizzard hits and whiteout conditions make it unsafe for either of them to go anywhere, they are forced to stay put in the condo together.
What started off as a bad thing, starts to turn into something good.
Two weeks with this cocky hard body? Alright, if she must.
It shouldn’t be a problem as long as she can keep her hands to herself and stop imagining if his tongue has as much stamina as the rest of his body.

Ashley loves collecting vintage PYREX (if you have pink or turquoise call her), exploring the great outdoors, and traveling to every Disney Resort possible. When she’s not writing or on an adventure, she stays busy daydreaming about the hot men she writes about in her novels.
Work For It was absolutely divine, sexy and charming too! I fell in love with this plot in a heartbeat. Fun and romantic, this book will give readers ALL the swoons and have hearts a flutter everywhere. The hero is handsome and charming and heart-melting while the heroine is sassy and beautiful and feisty. These two had wild chemistry you could easily feel flowing off the pages with every encounter. It was yummy!
I love a good snowed in romance and this one had so much heat! Sexy, witty, and so romantic its no wonder I fell head over heels for it. I enjoyed this immensely and highly recommend it. Its perfect for a cold winters weekend because this book will be sure to warm you from head to toes!
Work For It gets a HEAT FILLED FIVE SHOOTING STARS!
Although I marked this as "read", I only read the first few chapters. The leading man was so vain, arrogant and self-centered that I quit reading it. I just did not think I could warm up to any story having him in the lead!
Work For It (Irresistible Billionaires #3) by Ashley Bostock
Bostock has way with hearts and gift with words. Love on the run takes on a whole new meaning when emotions come into play. When two strangers in need of a little peace and quiet find themselves sharing a condo, all previous plans fly out the window. Dylan and Lina have a knack for finding chaos. Can their chance encounter be the remedy? Work For It brings the humor, adds the heart and doesn't hold back the temptation.
Dylan Truex believes in a health regimen but is he doing it for the right reasons. He shows how much social media can affect someone’s life. It gets better though when he decides to get away for a while. Lina Armstrong isn’t easily impressed.
The author slowly reveals some of the things these two have in common. While that’s going on she also slowly builds up the heat between our two mismatched characters. Let’s just say that if I had the room I’d be looking into a wood-burning fireplace. Loved the giggle moments. They had me looking forward to more. Also loved the tension and uneasiness that showed through.
I’ve seen guys like Dylan in the gym. You know the ones. You can picture them rubbing their abs (to make sure they didn’t go anywhere) and then the imagery of him kissing his guns. You know the ones. They always work out in front of the mirror. The ones that aren’t just making sure they’re doing their form correctly. Oh, and let’s not forget the big jug with their favorite workout drink. That’s not to say that I don’t appreciate looking at the fruits of their labor and they certainly helped me in forming an image of Dylan. And don’t get me started on ego.
Once I get past that image, I start to get a look at Lina. She’s a strong woman on the outside but she seems so timid on the inside - a little unsure of herself. But she’s willing to step out of her comfort zone and go off by herself to try and reinvent herself. Then our author puts temptation in her way. I got so into the story that everything seemed to disappear. The cold was outside but it got nice and toasty in my living room.
There were just so many things that kept my attention. First we have a man that I’m surprised there was enough room for him and his ego. We have a woman who has shut herself off from everyone but does she have enough room in her heart to actually let someone in. Even Mother Nature has a role in this story and with winter right outside my window it helped to create the perfect backdrop. My climax was when I got to the romantic ending – yes, Dylan did redeem himself in my eyes- but I have other billionaires to check out in the series. I also have an author who happens to have other books that I can check out.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
*I received this book free from Buoni Amici Press.*
Let's just say that Dylan makes a mistake he definitely knows how to make up for it. Lina had a meltdown, decided she couldn't do her life anymore, quit her job and basically ran away to start over. The first two weeks she spent in Estes Park were wonderful. She ignored her phone, and worked on writing a book. Just something she wanted to try doing.
Then everything changed. He showed up.
Dylan needed a break. He was getting burnt out on always trying to please everyone and needed a trip to Estes Park to regain his calm. He did not expect to walk into the house he booked to find a log wielding woman.
"I've never wanted a woman as badly as I want you. You taste like sunshine."
A 'blizzarding' event forced them to be roommates. Each wanted to be alone. But neither could stop the buzzing connection they felt. Two weeks is all it took to turn Dylan's world upside down and to start Lina on a new and exciting path.
From flashlight lit showers to nosey neighbors interrupting steamed truck windows Work For It is packed full of hilarious little moments. The characters are likeable and the story is adorable...with a few oh hell yes moments thrown in.
"Are you going to let me show you all the tricks my tongue can do, Lina? Prime you for my cock?"
I loved how he kept searching for the maker of the sugar cookies, but in the end gives up. It may have taken him a while to admit how wrong he'd been, but he definitely apologizes in style.
My only wish is that I would have read the previous books in the series. I don't think they were needed, but as some of the other characters came into play I realized I wished to have read their stories too. Maybe I'll go back and catch up.
When Dylan Truex, owner of the Dirty Gains empire, decides to take a few days off to rethink his life, he goes to Estes Park alone. However, upon arriving there, he discovers that the condo has been double-booked. Lina Armstrong ran away from her old life and decided to spend some time in Pine Lake, but didn't expect her time alone to be threatened by the cute stranger Dylan Truman. When the blizzard hits and whiteout conditions storm makes it impossible for them to leave the house, they decide to coexist amicably, even though they don't know each other. Lina is honest from the beginning, telling about her life and what led her there, while Dylan omits some parts of his life because he's afraid that if Lina knew who he really was, he would be treated differently. The two can't resist the attraction for each other and decide to give in to the feelings, but only after the end of Dylan's bet of 'no sex'. But when Lina discovers Dylan's true identity, will she be able to forgive him, or will the lie drive them away forever? This is a well written story with interesting characters. I recommend the reading.
Round three and we have billionaire Dylan. There was hints of his unhappiness with his current life situation in the previous book, but no where to the level in which we meet him in his own story. Dylan was at his tipping point. He needed to get away from his celebrity. He finds that solace in the arms of a woman that was not suppose to be there. But he was certain he would not fall for her. Only time changed those thoughts. Lina Armstrong on the other hand finds that she needs to get away from it all. She swears off men and then finds that she's sharing space with a man. Not just any man, but one man that causes her panties to melt and her temp to rise. But stick to her guns she try real hard to do.
Enjoying Lina and Dylan was a reading treat. Two people needing to separate from their lives for a time find a piece of paradise within each other, but how far can it all go when it starts with a lie. Ashley Bostock brings her game with written word, detailed characters, and a will he, won't she story that gives you hope for romance when all else has been let go of.
Fate cannot scream any louder through the double whammy into Lina and Dylan's lives. These two were meant to be together, they just need to give in to it. Dylan is famous and Lina just does not care. I loved the contrast between these two. But following them trying to avoid each other was the most fun in this story. Lina was trying so hard to control her hands, but her thoughts were all over Dylan. Dylan is a swoon worthy hero that does not let fame get the best of him. My heart was fluttering as they grew closer together. This was such a fun listen, I could not stop.
Melissa Schwairy certainly can bring out the swoon worthiness of Ashley Bostock's men. Ms. Schwairy brings this story to life. She has an easy to listen to voice. Each character has a distinct tone, which makes the book easy to follow. I look forward to more from Ms. Schwairy.
Dylan Truex gym owner and the face of Dirty Gains franchise, was getting burned out from his day to day CEO responsibilities. He decided he needed a break from the stress. Estes Park Cooorado was the perfect place. Lena was tired of her mother's domineering, controlling ways at home and on the job. She decided to pick up and go to find herself in Estes Park Colorado. It ends up the condo was double booked. Fun and antics ensued, especially when there was a severe snowstorm that neither one could leave. Melissa Schwary narration made this a fun story to listen to. 🎧audiobookobsessionreviewer🎧
Fun, entertaining and steamy. Dylan and Lina both need a break from life, but were expecting to end up roommates in the same condo. However, and blizzard has other plans and when sparks fly, will they find more than just and escape? Fast-paced read with plenty of drama and to characters with steamy chemistry and so much fun together. I really liked it.
Loved Work For It! Both Dylan & Lina are booked into the same condo and nowhere else to go, and the snow blizzarding outside Lina's word, both are now stuck together! Love the banter and chemistry these had going on! Awesome ending! Bring on more Irresistible Billionaires!
This series is great I think I’m connecting to them so well as the underline storyline is very close to me. These men really empower their ladies to shine. Great chemistry and likeable characters. Great narration. #audiobookobsessionreviewer
Getting away in a double booked condo could sure end it chaos but for these two with their stubbornness and unexpected chemistry it was the total opposite. Lots of steam and the feelings brought out were just right. I have really enjoyed this series so far and will jump to the next now.
This is a good third installment from this series I enjoy the sweetness between the couple Melissa Schwairy does a good job with the narration. Enjoyable listen @audiobookobsession
