The Endless Sky: Collected Astrological Essays 2002-2021

Rate this book
Award-winning astrologer Steven Forrest offers a collection of seventy-two short, penetrating essays spanning two decades and soaring over the wide world of evolutionary astrology. What is the truth about Mercury retrograde? Are you doomed if you have a planet “in detriment?” Why did Vincent Van Gogh’s chart still work long after he was dead and gone? Steven writes, “I picture this book like an astrology friend – someone you met at a class or a conference a year or two ago. Maybe you get together for coffee every few months and talk about charts.” Like those serendipitous, freewheeling conversations, you never know exactly where The Endless Sky is going to lead. As you explore these pages, magic you find yourself escaping the pigeon-holing attitudes of conventional astrology and replacing them with the fresh air of freedom, choice, and imagination.

Astrological short stories

As I'm a fan of sabian symbols, I wonder especially what comes into my day when 10° Sagg Moon hits, where my Midheaven lies.
So, few days ago - being in the middle of nowhere, scrolling internet, the newsletter with this book came.
I grab it, of course, as the symbol is saying.
The little chapters are great to read like you are meeting once per day ( or when you want! ) your best astro friend, speaking about different astro topics.
As an avid reader, like always, i love how Steven Forrest writes - even if the topic is known to me, will read it anyway - I feel smarter in 5 minutes with new insights into my astro pocket!
Highly recommend to anyone interested or not in astrology - great book as a first astro book also, will make you want for more.

This is Steven at his best: conversational, entertaining and informative. Whether you are new to Astrology, love Evolutionary Astrology or are well versed in all different types of Astrology, this book has something for you. Steven shares is personal experiences of Transits to illustrate various salient points. His explanations are clear and easy to follow. One of my favourite books!
