A wolf journeys through lush lands to a magical temple floating in the sky. This largely-wordless comic is a stunning testament to Jack T Cole's artistic prowess, and a moment of nirvana and beautiful escape.
Resting quietly atop it, the Foxling reaches into the latent memory of the gear. Witnesses the greater whole it was part of and the years passed since it came to be here...
I do love Shortbox and this final Kickstarter box of new comics is another huge success.
In Temple, by Jack T. Cole, we follow a Foxling as it explores a ruined temple which has crashed from space many moon ago. The graphic novel is mostly 'silent' and leaves the reader to fully appreciate and enjoy the stunning artwork on offer.
I suspect on reading this again there will be lots of hidden details that I didn't notice first time around. A solid 4 1/2 stars.

Visually arresting and almost wordless story of a fox-man visiting a temple. The level of detail in the art is ridiculous, there's so much for the eye to take in, to the point that this 28 page comic could last the discerning viewer much longer than you might expect as you absorb all the little touches and colours.
Lovely art, has some Breath of the Wild and Howl’s Moving Castle vibes. I enjoyed this. I would also love to see it as a longer graphic novel so I could see more of the world and its magic.
